Added a top layer of soil with added nutes so that only needed to water normally and let the top mix do the work down below. Will mix in more compost tea every other day and towards the end of the week, hit it with my normal organic nutes mix. The plant is looking healthy and continues to flower out and each cola is starting to thicken nicely. I have a few leaves here and there showing some discoloration so will watch closely to ensure I don’t have a light or nute issue. Will move the light intensity to 80% on the LED panels after this next week and as long as the leaves still look good. The grow room is fairly warm (80F) and rH is high (75 – 80rH) but my CO2 levels are fairly high as well so the plants should be fine. Running 2 x HO Solarcure UVBs for 2 hours about an hour after the LED lights turn on at the beginning of the 12 hour set and for 2 hours about an hour before the LEDs turn off at the end of the set.

The growing cycle it self worked out as expected, except that the pH-level was way off from where it should be, and I found out a bit too late. Because of this the outcome of the harvest didn't say much about the potential of this strain, but as soon as I got enough time and space, she will get a new chance to shine. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2018-02-27. This is my review / smoke report of this lovely cbd flower. There are rock hard buds and almost no give at all, even in those smaller buds. When you grind it the scent will appear more than just smelling on the buds. It smells a little weak of grass, hay, pepper, some spicy and sweet. The taste is grass, soil, pepper and exceedingly sweet fruit. The effect is directly, the thc feeling above the eyes and in the forehead. A little light ringing in the ears and a dry mouth. After 10 minutes, the cbd kicks in and one feels that the neck and shoulders begin to relax and the feeling continues down over the back and chest down to the stomach. A calm and well-being is found in the body. After 15-20 minutes it is down in the legs. But in a strange way, you also feel like doing something, or meeting some friends and just sitting and talking about fun things. It is a very well-balanced strain and it fits in all sorts of contexts. I also think it might be good for someone who needs something that makes you more social and dampens enough anxiety and rushing thoughts effectively. I think this is a lovely strain and I highly recommend it to everyone but especially for more inexperienced people who want to soften with a pleasant medicine.

Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. Moved light to 3ft above plants. 400ppfd plants are reacting well.

So far, everything is developing well. The Bruce Banner has been lollipopped, perhaps a little too much, but let's wait and see. I trained the S.A.D. #4 with plant clips, as three shoots became too dominant. This worked very well so far and the other shoots caught up well. I also noticed that the Bruce Banner was getting slightly yellow leaves. I don't know the exact reason, but it may have been due to the low CalMag dosage in the previous weeks. I also noticed an infestation of fungus gnats, nothing serious, but today I watered with nematodes and this problem should have disappeared.

The girl looks amazing!!! The 28th day photo is missing because I went on vacation, I asked my friend to come water her next week, I think when I get back I will find her much older:) I like to just leave them sometimes and see them after about 10 days :) they change very quickly:) good luck to everyone.

Transplants 75% succesfull , i had to wait for the soil an extra week , but i m sure other ones will keep up .

All looking great. Bud growing. 😃😃😃 Cant believe it. Going nicely. Just a very long patient wait. Eager to finish so can start on RQS Green Gelato auto grow. Hoping this will be complete in next 2 to 3 weeks. Than have to cure. Lower leaves have issues. Top leaves look good. Day 50 increased nutes to max 1.2ml each per 500ml water. Ph6.6. Watered 250ml to see any damage tomo. Run off from soil ph came to 6.4. Day 51 watered 250ml from balance Day 52 watered 100ml watered with nutes ph6.6 Day 53 watered 200ml from balance and lowered lights to 45cm from 80cm. Hopefully more growth tomorrow 🙏

04JULY2025: All plants form good and dense buds. The buds smell good. I'm curious to see when the trichomes are ready.

THIS WEEK THE TEMPERATURE DROPPED IT GOT VERY VERY COLD. IT ALSO HAS BEEN RAINING MOST OF THE WEEK. I WILL HAVE TO TALK TO THE SUN GOD!!! HE HAS BEEN VERY VERY BAD!!!!😡😡😡 DAY 41 I CUT OFF THE 2 BOTTOM FAN LEAVES ON THE PLANT. WHILE CHECKING THE PLANT OVER FOR PESTS I CAUGHT A GLIMPSE OF A FEW PISTILS AT THE TOP OF THE PLANT!!!! DAY 42 PHOTO IS THE TOP OF THE PLANT HOLDING ONTO RAIN WATER! THERE WAS NO NEED TO WATER THE PLANT THIS WEEK DO TO ALL OF THE RAIN!!!!! PLEASE COME AGAIN!!!!!!

Well, I harvested one of the gxz, which considering the space it had to grow in, gave me around 230g wet, so hopefully looking at 2 z when dry. Really happy with it. Big up Barneys Farm. Leaving the other gxz and the auto for another week. You can see from the photos, the autos aren’t quite ready yet. Looking forward to wrapping a skin around this and lighting it...

Refurbished soil HVAC system, and increased airflow. To maximize your yield, always aim for 40 moles, or 40,000,000 μmol, per day. Here is how much PPFD is needed per second for each phase of cannabis growth to achieve the DLI of 40 moles of light per day. I picked up a Quantum PAR Meter, very happy!😁 PAR Meter will show me how much useful radiation between 4-700nm the plant is getting from any given direction. Seedling phase (18hr cycle): 200–300 μmol m-2 s-1 Vegetative phase (18hr cycle): 617 μmol m-2 s-1 Flowering phase (12hr cycle): 925 μmol m-2 s-1, (1500 μmol m-2 s-1 @1500ppm co2) (ballpark). Anything above 2000 PPM is harmful to both the grower and the crops. The tent is currently reaching 3-400umol ms 1s at soil level (42" inches from light) and 1100umol-1300umol @ 25" Inches.
