Added Exhale c02 and top dressed in each pot with 1 tablespoon per gallon of growing medium my pots are 3.6. I added 3 tablespoons. It is my hopes that with adding the slow release dry amendments and once the c02 bag sarts growing my plants will finally grow. They are short but have 4 nodes at day 21. What is an exhale c02 bag? “The ExHale bag is a patented strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting. This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 6 months - guaranteed!” At day 25 I am not impressed with the size of these girls? Hope they hit a growth spurt soon? Their internodes are stacked very nicely. At day 28 growth is very slow. Practically none existent since my top dressing at day 23. 2 plants have received a very minimal nutrient burn. As I do not have a soil ph tester? I will be watering with a ph of 6.0 rather than 6.5, hopefully that helps. ONWARD!

As you can see, they are growing incredibly. They are strong, healthy and resistant, which I can immediately iron the branches. Bionova nutrients alternating with Bio canna are doing a great job. This week if the growth continues like this I will already be able to cut between the 4th and 5th nodes. And start mounting the net for the scrog We'll see how it goes. No rush, no stress. Just so much love and professionalism for plants and they will grow lush.

Chiller installed to keep reservoir at 18c constantly. 100ltrs of 18c water also will help bring the ambient temperature down slightly in the room.

A lb from 2 plants in 69 days from sprout. You literally CANNOT beat that. Not to mention the 9g of kief I got just from my trim box. Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

Day 72 - 07/01/20 This one was the only survivor of my 4 x RQS diary. my blueberry auto, jack herer auto and GG auto didnt sprout but the diesel did and here is her harvest! I added some nice photos of the plant and the yield was 325g wet weight. Should be over an ounce once its dried. Update - Dry weight was 30g although much of the bud is small :) Ive been curing for a few days and its insane how the flavour and burn changes throughout curing :) Update - Day 78 - 13/01/20 The sweet diesel smell and taste is coming through. buds are becoming more and more enjoyable to smoke as days go by. :) il post a few pictures later tonight! Added the photos of some buds and a video so you can all have an opinion on how my buds turned out visually. let me know in the comments :) Il do a few more curing updates to let you know how the second week of curing goes! Day 86 - 21/01/20 I finally finished the NYCD after about 2 weeks of curing. It smokes fairly well and is definitely the best thing ive grown so far :) Buds developed quality and a sweet earthy diesel flavour/aroma over the 2 weeks of curing. one major improvement i would make is to source high quality soil as i really struggled to flush this properly. even still without lab quality conditions ive never felt so depression free since ive been taking this medicine regularly. to finish up i will say that I liked the NYCD diesel taste but i still preferred sour diesel. The plant grew to a reasonable height around 60cm and produced an ounce of average bud. and I might not have won any GD competitions, but im still a winner! :'D Lucky for us I just started an Sour Diesel Auto from fastbuds so you can check that out to see what i thought of it compared to this one :)

Flushing nicely, leaves fading to purple and yellow. Will be flushed for a total of 12-14 days and then hung.

love this strain big feeder and loved the super soil. I would run these again if i had the Chace goo yield for an auto flower. had 2 different pheno types one vert sativa the others Indica heavy.

End of week 3 in bloom , I’ve got most of the lollipoping done , canopy has filled in really well , lots of bud sites , I will remove some of the shade leaf out of the canopy in another week , stretch is done so just want to give the buds as much light as possible. I had a discussion with my grow shop rep and we discussed water times and schedules with the need for the rock wool to dry out so I dialed my feed schedule back from 6 feedings in 24 hrs to 3 , it’s been a week and the room looks great , final weight and time will tell me if feeding them less often is better.

The plants grew well this week, as did all the clones. Any extra rooted clones have been planted outdoors as a further experiment. We moved all the clones into a Veg room. Even though the large room is not in flower and still also in veg, we had to separate the plants due to lack of space. Also setting up for mother, clones and SOG in the future. The plants were defoliated and training continued. There are 2 weeks of Veg left hoping to have some very large plants for flowering. Aiming for large flowers.

Week 15 Coming back from holidays: left the plants 13 days in self sufficiently. -grow spot: greenhouse -Automatic Watering Blumat with 5L supply of water / plant -ventilation: 6 AM to 22 PM = 15 min/h - 22 PM to 6 AM = 15min/2h -companion plants: dill, basil + in front of the greenhouse: lavender, sunflower -insect traps ; artificial (paper glue) and natural : numbers of spiders around -1 manual watering day 7 Really good surprise: all plants look healthy and particularly the Sleepy Joe, growing 40cm higher in 13 days + a good side stretching. No pest or predators around (I will have a meticulous check soon), no signs of dehydration just some dead leaves on the floor causing by heat or the minimum water quantity, proving by the root system around the ‘carrot clay’ (Blumat) cf photo. Has been doing well the past week the growth is coming along nicely. Started nutrients and a fan schedule to strengthen stock has been set. Well come back in 1 week to check growth and monitor daily temp and hummidity is key.

Day42 of flowering:Such a beautiful bud structure. Leaves are mostly changed to dark purple now and some fans are fading out. She will be finished shortly so it got a blast of overdrive. Sugar leaves are very resinous and feel thick. She smells very strong, of ripe berries when you stick your nose right on it. She is doing very well. Day45: Removed old fans blocking bud sites... She smells phenomenal! Sickly sweet scent of over ripe fruits with a hint of fuel. Super sticky.

I will call this the 2nd annual Polar Express grow. Really happy with the result of the grow over all. She did 3 days dark before I chopped her. I put her into dry whole, a little slower drying time. I'm hoping for a good solid couple oz from this harvest. The first tile I ever grew was this strain, the stress of the first grow was really unwarranted. If you are looking for a first grow strain, Polar Express from Auto Seeds should be on your list. 2.3 OZ trimmed , pretty happy over all.
