Day 40

Day 50 - Starting off the 8th week and she’s looking good. Filling in more and more each day. Gave her the first feeding of the week today and removed a couple dying leaves. Day 51 - No water today, she still needs to dry out a bit. She’s filling in fairly nicely and looking forward to seeing how this girl will turn out in the end. Day 52 - Gave the girl a full 3/4’s of a gallon of pH’d water. She’s definitely filling in a bit more each day. Day 53 - For the most part, she’s looking pretty good but she’s definitely got a little deficiency. A few of the leaves I defoliated seem to point to a cal-mag deficiency. So I’m going to give her good flush tomorrow and up the cal-mag a bit and hope that helps. Day 54 - Flushed her with a gallon of water and foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Gonna let her dry out quite a bit and then up the cal-mag and hope this corrects her issue. Other than that she’s filling in quite nicely. Day 56 - Last day of week 8 and she’s really starting to pack on now and looking good. Letting her dry out a bit more before starting feed schedule after flushing.

We started adding some banana peel fertilizer, around half a litre every three days as we discover some changing in the leaves colour. it turns out it is Potassium deficiency.

This week I changed a few elements, I changed my nutes to mills, I used mills on my last grow and had a really good result, I also like the fact that's it takes 1 week to flush, this is because it is made of organic and inorganic compounds and contains less salts. The only reason I didn't go with mills from the start was purely financial, canna is cheaper and doesn't require the expensive "start" additive like mills. The guy in my local shop swears by mills and gave me a bottle of c4 for free so I switched. I also added a greenhouse tube heater as my lights off temp was dropping to around 6c. I'm at 12c now and can live with that. My flowers are forming nicely with small spacing in between each node and I have been bending the branches down to encourage growth. This is going as planned and I'm loving this run 👊

Flush week

Well here we go into week 2 not a lot to say she is just fine and doing her thing she is happy and stretch its on the cards

Chiller installed to keep reservoir at 18c constantly. 100ltrs of 18c water also will help bring the ambient temperature down slightly in the room.

Harvested at day 76, after 72h of darkness. Very good yield! 3.3 pounds of dry buds + 1 pound of trim The 2 keepers yielded 366 and 342g of premium quality smoke. Very uplifting and energizing high :) Love it!

I finally decided to chop. This grow had gone way longer than I anticipated but due to high temperatures through summer months I allowed it to veg till outdoor temps would finally stabilize to mid 80F°. This plant was really stretched considering it was stunted early on and small for the first month or 2 the odds were against it but it overcame it's environment and bad user inputs in my part I will be growing this strain again in the future. Hopefully I my skills as a grower have improved by the time I attempt a second go. I really like the smell this plant gives Purple ish candy with a gassy undertone almost like a skunk or og smell that lingers. It's large flowers are beautifully covered in trichomes with brilliant hues of purple and green all over. I will try to fill in more of the blank weeks now that it's down but please bare with me 32/33 weeks is a long time. Thank you all for your interest and support.

Cleaned up what I thought was a good amount of lower veg to get the top veg supercharged and man has it really shown within a few days I would say everything I took from the lower has migrated to the top. The girls are loving the new light. Think I have the perfect environment for these girls. As the growth is exploding now when they reach the edge of the net I’ll flip into flower. Hello Fellow Growers ✌️🏻🍁 Not posted in the last week or so, The girls have been potted up into 18litre pots using Bio all mix. Few of them had low PPM 350/400s & some in 700s just before reporting which is low and showing N deficiency’s So once potted up I just give them a nutrient feed of bio grow. Since the soil is got nutrients in it am hoping this will sort it’s self out nutrient wise over the next week. Ripper seeds - dosido x purple punch - has got some mad deficiency I can’t keep happy always looks over watered Aiming to start flowering within the next week or so - since potting up the others I soon realised I was running out of space so I decided to chop a couple strains out. Thought of adding a humidifier into the mix but not sure as I was having over feeding issues - anyones thoughts on this? All auto flowering strains are starting to really get into flowering now. Pink runtz auto - has a lovely strawberries smell. Gorilla glue auto - isn’t looking to great, she’s got a slight deficiency. Blue cheese auto - is growing slow I’m sure this got over fed and just hadn’t bounced back yet. Amnesia haze auto - this is the tallest of them all she’s starting to pack on too. Quick update. Everything is going pretty well, it's growing quickly. 😉✌️

WEEK 9 (DAY 64-70) This week, my plants have significantly increased in volume. The buds are abundant, firm, and smell very sweet. Thanks to mainlining, they've become small and compact, now consisting almost entirely of flowers. For the past few weeks, I've switched to 24-hour lighting to avoid climate fluctuations and speed up the flowering process. So far, this has proven very effective. The plants are growing at a high speed, and I think I'll be harvesting in two weeks at the latest. I've set my lights to 700 PPFD. While this gives me a rather high DLI (Daily Light Integral), the plants don't seem to mind so far. Due to the high temperatures and strong growth, I have to water at least every 24 hours. I'm currently alternating nutrients with Biobizz and Plagron Green Sensation. Last week, I defoliated the plants again to ensure good air circulation around the buds and to direct all energy towards flower production. Thanks to the high transpiration rates, I'm managing to keep the room's humidity just under 60%. It's not optimal, but I think it will work out.
