A microbe product, PH going into the medium is around 6.5-6.8 and coming out is between 5.5-5.8, so something is acidifying it up. Also noticed the runoff last week was a bit higher at times. So lowered the feed down quite a bit, going in at 1.4EC vs 1.8 will bump it up to 1.5 and 1.6 in the next few weeks. I also added in a bit of a PK booster. nothing to crazy only 60ppm worth on a total allowance of 700PPM Lights now running at 100% with V1 spectrum, decided to go with 100% now vs after stretch, will see how it works out. Watching her closely, she’s getting there but isn’t quite ready. Tried a bud off her and she’s already pretty potent. I am waiting 10-14 more days I think... maybe longer depending on trich’s. Hoping to get a little more amber and a little more swelling to the buds. I had to put a trellis net in to help support the buds, some were getting close to snapping. My favorite bud is on the top right, she’s weighing that branch down nicely. I’m excited to see how this plant finishes up.

I got a week and a half notice that I had to go on a work trip out of country for 10 days, so the clown show continued. I was definitely overwatering them. Thanks @shinsimilla, I saw the difference after waiting a few extra days. Also, I definitely should have started LST at least a week earlier than I did. Now for work issues: I found an old security camera that the cats had knocked over a million times and damaged. With a lot of tape, I got it working again and set up in the tent so I could see what’s going on while gone. Be warned, the photos are NOT good quality. I also looked up DIY self-watering systems. I needed it as simple as possible to reduce the risk of something breaking while I was thousands of miles away. I found one where it wicks water up a cotton or wool string. I took two long planters, lined them with a construction garbage bag to be the reservoirs. Even though the floor of the grow tent is waterproof and I put plastic between the floor and outside of the grow tent, I didn’t want to risk any water getting out while I was away. I was nervous y’all. Basically, you wet the fabric then use a chopstick to run the it through the plant from bottom to top. It needs to be long enough to have a few inches sitting in the bottom of the reservoir. I filled each with 3L of water with the BioBizz nutrients mixed in and ph’d to 6.1. More info in week 5.

I have gone through the tent this week, and I have removed a lot of the lower branches on the plants, as they're not going to grow into big colas or anything. So it's better not to waste the plant's energy, developing those to hopefully redirect it into the larger flowers. Orion F1 organic, dry amendments. The plant is really developing the flowers while they look really dense, and like they will be some very top shelf buds! The buds are beginning to stack on weight now, and hopefully, we'll just see the colas become larger and larger as we go on from here! I'm really impressed with this plant so far, and the organic dry amendments are really working wonders, and that's been really eye-opening for me during this experiment! I'm very pleased that Royal Queen Seeds were kind. Enough to allow me to try this experiment with some of the F1 hybrid strains. It has been, and continues to be an extremely exciting experiment, and I am again learning more and more with each plant. I cannot wait for harvest and to see what these buds look like after I've dried and trimmed them! 3.8.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 1ml Trace PH: 6.2 PPM: 371 I've just been keeping the medium, not bone dry, but there were some fungus gnats. So I have let it dry out more than I usually would probably, because I wanted to sprinkle some Diatomaceous Earth on the soil, and it only works when it's dry. 4.8.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with; 💜 3ml Ecothrive Trace 💜 1.25 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.6 PPM: 385 I am going to top dress next week as I checked and it has been exactly a month since I last did one. Well, here we are. 12 weeks of training, topping and pruning, she is filling the net and and in good shape for flowering. I will be making the switch to 12/12 today, so this was the last week of veg for this girl. Since going into the larger tent, she has had much better light, and she has responded with lots of new growth. She has been screaming for more nutes. Currently feeding Megacrop at 6g a gallon. I use R.O. water, and total EC of the Megacrop along with Cal Mag is 2.0, which is quite high (I think it is anyway, I've only grown autos before), but the solution in the Autopot trays is still reading 0.3 EC lower than the res, and there is not a trace of burn on her. I really have no idea how far I can push a plant of this size, so I'll let someone else tell me if this is too high. I estimate that by the time I've added Bud Explosion into the mix, the max EC at peak is going to be somewhere around 2.2-2.3, at which point I will be starting to lower N levels and will be dropping from there on. I'd love to hear input from anyone who has some experience with plants that have had longer veg times as to whether these levels are considered 'OK'. She certainly seems happy enough and is thriving for now, and I've been letting her guide the nute levels from the color of the leaves rather than sticking to a feeding calculator. I'm estimating a flowering period of 10-12 weeks, which goes well into UK summertime, which means it going to be super hot in the daytime, so I'll be doing the lights off period during the day, and lights on overnight when it's cooler and I can max out the Kingbrite without overheating the tent. Also, having only grown autos before, I've never had to worry about light intrusion as I just keep them 24/0. I never appreciated how much of the shit in the tent has little bloody lights on it. Had to go round taping up LED's on a few things to make it completely dark. I've also put the monitoring cam on the same timer as the lights, as it has an infrared sensor, so the power to the cam is cut at lights out. I've kept a fairly detailed feeding summary on a spreadsheet. As this grow seems to be going fairly well (so far) I may go back and update previous weeks with a bit more detail in case anyone is interested. tl;dr Flipping to 12/12 this week, growth good, girl hungry, Bud Explosion gonna be added to the mix this week, starting around 0.5g a gallon. Day 27 from seed: An exciting week this week with a change to Mega crop. This nute has it all and even my Los girls are responding well to it. At 1g/L it is keeping them very happy at the moment. Seeing how quickly they have grown this week is a comfort tbh. The last thing I want is 1oz plants. Inwont be working the #1and #2 too much as they are fairly squat. # 3 is getting well over her pot edges so will be a good trainee I hope.

Most of my autos in photos were put to pop nearly fifteen days ago. Some of it has been slow.But it's okay because they're gonna pick up soon.

Day 42 By Day 42, the plant shows a noticeably fuller and more compact appearance compared to the previous week. The top section is dominated by clusters of developing floral structures, which have become denser and more defined, The lighter tones in the new growth contrast with the darker green of the older leaves, giving the plant a layered look. The leaves around the upper areas appear slightly curled and somewhat softer in structure, while the lower foliage still displays a mix of green shades with some patches of discoloration. The overall silhouette has shifted from a vertical, stretching phase to a more rounded and weighty form, as the upper clusters continue to thicken.

En este diario cultivaré la genética de dición limitada del banco GB Strains bajo una luminaria LED de mars hydro, la sp 150, que da unos 140 watts de potencia nominal y en espectro completo. El armario será un trafika de 60x60 y el medio de cultivo 11L de coco en maceta de plástico blanco. El coco va a ser un ladrillo de ugro de 3L hidratado con agua a ph de 5'5 y sin recirculación del agua. La germinación será en papel y usaré el seedboster de plagron ya que he leido varios casos de problemas en la germinación de esta genética y únicamente tengo 3 semillas y me gustaría gastar solamente una. Como novedad para los seguidores escribiré este diario en español, mi lengua nativa, dado que el banco de semillas GB Strains opera principalmente en España, y creo que también en Francia y me suena que Reino Unido, pero no estoy completamente seguro de eso y la idea es que sea lo más útil posible para otras personas. En cualquier caso recordad que en la parte izquierda de la página se pueden activar opciones de traducción a varios idiomas. Sobre la genética remarcar que el banco indica unos porcentajes de thc de 30-33%e n condiciones óptimas con un uso recomendado medicinal y con efecto de relajación intensa. Si no tengo problemas durante el ciclo de cultivo y éste se desarrolla correctamente realizaré un análisis de cannabinoides al finalizar el secado y si este no fuera concluyente o diese valores de menos del 20% que es una desviación bastante sustancial, realizaré otro tras el curado para verificar. Hace bastante tiempo (años) que no cultivo una genética fotodependiente pero espero no tener ningún problema Para los abonos utilizaré GHE/terra aquatica que ya he utilizado con muy buenos resultados (de momento) en mi primer intento con coco y añadiré también fulvic (o diamond nectar) de la misma casa Germinaré la semilla una vez tenga montado el armario de cultivo en los próximos días o semanas. Tambioén grabaré todo el ciclo y crearé video timelapse global y semanal para apreciar reacciones de la planta a estímulos y seguir mejorando la técnica La semilla ha germinado en 48 horas. La dejaré un poco más antes de moverla al jiffy de turba Ha tardado pero finalmente ha germinado la semilla y ya está en el jiffy en el armario. He usado el agua sobrante de mojar el papel para germinar para alimentarla estos primeros días. Cuando muestre sus primeras hojas (no cotiledones) empezaré con el abonado. Finalmente será la serie flora de GHE, no la específica de coco. Este es mi segundo intento con la genética, en el primero falló un programador de riego y generó problemas irrecuperables en la planta por lo que la deseché.
