They are growing well. Lemon Cherry Cookies flowers fast. LCC is starting to spread a lovely smell. She is also turning purple. I have some problems with heat. Some days it's 34 degrees in the tent.

So, after seeing the N deficiency and feeding it some protein, I noticed after all this time there were no new roots forming in the sencond zone in the hydroton, so I thought maybe I forgot to drill holes to let the roots through. Turns out when I was moving things around, only the very bottom of the basket was in the water, so the hydroton was mostly dry and the roots were drying up before getting to the water. So this week I made a new carrier for the pot to sit further down in the water and this should remedy future N deficiency as the roots will be getting the nutes from the aquaponic system. Plant still looks great, started LST this week to help fill the width of the screen. Will be moving into the tent after my widow gets harvested.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! We have had some crazy cold weather here the last 4 days and for the first time in 13 years had snow on Christmas day. So with the cold and snow came grow room issues. My grow space is outside and not attached to the house so maintaining a proper temperature and humidity has been a bit on the difficult side. Even with the lights running 24 hours, it's had a few drops down to 19c and the humidity has gone up to 68% a few times. Now luckly I'm still in veg and the humidity isn't a issue yet but the temperature has been making me worried. Going to put togther a heater with its own temperature switch increase it drops below 20c. Did some training over the last week with some LST and FIMing. With the LST every 3nd day I've been adjusting them and pulling the plants back a bit more and more. Since I don't think I'll be able to set up a SCRog net this go around (spent to much for Christmas and wont be able to affordthe PVC tubing) ive got to figure out something else and fast. Plants are getting big and it's going to get hard to bend then properly without braking stuff. Because I was showing some issues with 2 of my plants I started adding a bit of Revive to my res to see if they get better and they have. But because of the cold that's been hitting us my tank has had a hard time staying warm. Even with my 50w tank heater it's been fighting a up hill battle because the area outside the main room where the tank is, has been sitting around 14-17c. So with that the air pump I use to circulate the tank, it is pulling in cold air and thats been fighting the tank heater in getting it up to what I like it at. I tried using my water pump instead of the air pump for circulation and the res went up to 25.6c soooo I would much rather have 19c res then water that could kill my plants. So let's talk about the plants themselves. Both Special Queen plants are doing great but as you can see from the picture, one is doing absolutely amazing. Great growth (understatement) and has bounced back from training like a pro. The other plant is still doing really good when compared to all the other plants in the room but still could be a little bit better. Depending on what I'm going to do for supporting the plants this might be the last week of veg. Well see. So this plant was doing great and then about 2 days ago I started to notice issues. Almost looks like leaf rust or a Ph problem but ive tried my best to keep them correct and I'm hopping that like my Ripper badazz plants that they well just grow out of it. Doing a big clean up today in the room so I'm going to keep my eyes open for any pests just incase that's the issue but fingers crossed it isn't. Well that's everything for now. She has not picked up in the last few weeks and she’s not recovering with more signs of deficiency it’s evident that she never made it but I will bloom her and try again with her in the near future. She must have some kind of infection I’m not sure if there is root damage but hey I really tried 😏

UPDATE : Very aggressive defoliation was needed, (Week 4 day 27 ) room is only 3x5and was very full My goal is having a grow that is easy to maintain with Nice big passages UPDATE: They are showing no damage from the defoliation. The Canopy is growing back quite fast , alot easier to deal with but next grow probably only go with 4 plants , 2 white widows , 2 blueberrys. I haven’t decided lst or top , SUGGESTIONS???? Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

Well it's been a shitty week regarding no sun just plenty of clouds and wind..seriously windy last 2 days posted a we video to show, the sun's out today and still got plenty of wind, for having such a bad week the buds have got very big compared to last week, well pleased and still a month to go :) :) After listening to some good experienced people in decided to lollypop her and try and concentrate the energy to the top part of the plant..pray lol :)

January 16, 2019 Everything is moving along nicely now. The last Blackberry is just about done. This week I fed some some Espoma Organic Bloom (available at most big box stores). I’ve had it kicking around since last season and figured I should use it up before it goes bad. I’m looking into more organic nutrient options for the future. I’m not sure I’m ready to start making my own organic compost teas yet. But BioBizz seems like they will take care of what I’m looking to accomplish without needing to make my own teas (fingers crossed). I removed the house plant that brought in the bugs and everything is back to normal now, no new bug damage. I finally received and read “True Living Organics” by The Rev. Its a good book, but growing the “TLO” way is vastly different from other growing methods I’ve read. I’m going to have to read this one again before making any comments. Thanks to all of the answers on CO2. Seems like its more valuable with larger setups than I’m running.
