🌱 Week 1 Update: Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco Journey 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! The Mentha de Croco sprouts are officially a week in, and they’re already showing off their unique personality, each one growing at its own pace. They’re rocking some funky vibes and loving life inside the dome! Here’s a full update on their progress, care, and setup for Week 1. Living Environment: The Humidity Dome Setup The seedlings are living in a humidity dome, where we’re keeping the relative humidity (RH) close to 100%. This level of RH mimics a tropical environment, creating the ideal conditions for delicate young plants that need extra hydration support as they begin to develop roots and leaves. Why High Humidity? • Encourages Strong Root Development: At nearly 100% RH, plants focus on root growth while pulling in moisture directly from the air, helping them establish themselves early on. • Protects from Stress: The high humidity reduces transpiration (water loss through leaves), which prevents drying and keeps seedlings hydrated. • Promotes Healthy Leaf Growth: With constant access to moisture, the leaves expand smoothly, giving each plant a strong start in the vegetative phase. Growth Status & Observations 🌱 These little mutants are showing some funky characteristics and growing at their own unique pace—a perfect reminder that no two plants are the same! Each seedling has sprouted its initial set of leaves, and I’m seeing great promise in their vigor and resilience. Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth. Why These Nutrients? • Aptus Regulator: Adds silicon to fortify cell walls, giving the seedlings extra strength to handle environmental changes. Even under the dome, this helps build resilience. • Aptus Startbooster: Supplies essential microbes and root stimulators, setting up these little ones for explosive root growth once they’re ready to venture outside the dome. Lighting: FOG LED & Environmental Control 💡 I’ve kept the Future of Grow (FOG) 600W LED dimmed to around 200 PPFD to avoid overwhelming these tender seedlings with too much light. They’re getting just enough energy to support healthy photosynthesis without stressing them in their early stages. Lighting Benefits at Low Intensity: • Prevents Stretching: With the lower PPFD, plants stay compact and focused on root and leaf development rather than reaching for the light. • Supports Early Photosynthesis: The FOG LED’s balanced spectrum provides all the wavelengths these seedlings need to kick off photosynthesis and grow with vitality. Controlled through the TrolMaster Tent X, the lighting schedule is consistent and stable. With this controller, I can manage humidity, lighting, and temperature settings all from one place, ensuring the environment stays perfect for these little ones. Reflection & Tips for Fellow Growers 💡 Week 1 is about creating a stress-free environment for seedlings to adjust and establish themselves. Here’s a bit of wisdom for anyone embarking on a similar grow: 💧 Humidity & Hydration: High humidity is a seedling’s best friend. Keep your dome or grow area humid for strong, happy plants. 💡 Light Management: Keep lighting low to encourage compact growth and let those roots dig in. Adjust lighting gradually as they grow to avoid any shock. 🌱 Patience with Genetics: Each plant has its own rhythm, especially with unique genetics like these. Let them show you what they’re made of without pushing too fast. Shout Outs & Community Love 💚 Much love to Terpyz Genetics for these incredible seeds, Aptus Holland for the nutrients, Future of Grow for the stellar LED, and TrolMaster for the environmental control. Big shout out to everyone following this journey—it’s always a blast sharing with you all. Let’s keep the positive energy flowing and watch these seedlings turn into something amazing together! Stay tuned for Week 2 updates—more growth, more funk, and more growers’ love! Hello again, since it's been so fun so far I've decided to give it another shot and threw two more seeds in some cups of water: #1 Sweet Mango Automatic by Green House #2 Royal Jack Automatic by Royal Queen After 36 hours the Sweet Mango had popped beautifully and was ready to be transferred in some juicy soil, didn't have the same luck with the Royal Jack tho 😕 I'm really curious about this strain so I'm a tad disappointed by it (also about the price 😓). I'll leave it in the cup and hope it will do its magic. - update 2 #1 SMA everything is going as planned, the stem looks really good and the first fresh leaves are coming out. aaaal good #2 RJA guess what? the little bastard is slowly slowly and slowly breaking and a little root is coming out, maybe I haven't lost it just yet.... still in the cup :D

Watermelon auto was doing great till today. I believe I got mite symptoms on a leaf. So I am giving her a neem oil treatment. Her leaves will likely be messed up next week from this. She is under the Medic Grow Mini sun 2, in Gen 1:11 organo mineral nutrition. Thank you Gen1:11, Medic Grow, and Royal Queen Seeds. Week 2 of flower The Red Hot Cookies and Lemon Orange are really stretching out. Glad I put them at the back of the tent. The Mimosa X Orange Punch is taking her time as far as flowering goes. The Black Apple Hitchcock (there is a separate diary for this plant) has been even slower transitioning into flower. But all in all the plants are happy so I am happy. 6.0 pH 500 ppm 65F water temp 71 tent temp 41 % RH

Almost at the end of this week. I did remove the enzymen and roots feedings. I did add Green Sensation. EC went up but with cocos and this feeding schedule it is allowed too, I can even raise it to 2.5-2.6 if I feel like too. As for the ladies, They are flowering fast haha, might have to harvest them in like 2 weeks +- They gained alot of THC as well. Climate outside was not that good, arround 20-21 degrees celcius, So they didn't swell that much but they got compact because of it. Lets hope they do swell a bit more in the comming 2 weeks. Update: Day 56: 2 of the 5 plants got damaged by the storm. I had to cut of some buds otherwise they would have rotten. Sad thing that it happend, Lucky for me they are close to the end of the grow so they will have taste and thc on it. Also, look how compact they are for just outside plants, this looks promising. Ps, yes a spongebob stone and more in my pots., My girlfriend thinks she is hilarious.. Until next week!

Day84: wedding glue is ripening and the buds are super heavy and dense. One more watering and I think is going to be ready. Gorilla z is swelling but needs more time to fully ripe, maybe 2 weeks are going to be enough. I’m only watering now, no nutes and let’s see how she develops Day87: really happy with how they are turning out

Skipped a week in my journal due to travels. Had my neighbor water my plants. Having some minor early deficiencies with my photoperiod plants (particularly the chem brulee)... so I decided to go ahead and give everything a solid feeding of Foop Bloom 1, 2 and Sweetener. This is their first ever bottled feeding. Have been running on supersoil and a prayer. Also top dressed everything and mulched with rice straw to help with the soil drying out a bit too quickly. Leaves have been yellowing on all three. Mostly relegated to the interior of the plants. Chem Brulee is looking a bit too yellow overall, as well. French Macaron is a 66in. Chem Brulee is 56in. Pineapple Meatball is 45in. I have a sneaking suspicion that my neighbor didn't water them quite enough while I was gone. Will probably continue with the Foop feedings... probably at least once per week. Don't want to overdo it. Also top dressed with my flowering top dress mix and mulched all plants with a thin layer of rice straw. 8/4 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap 8/5 Sprayed with Gravenstein Apple FFJ and OHN 8/6 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap (this will likely be the last time I spray with Neem Oil, as I don't want residual oils as buds start swelling. Also fed 1/4 strength FOOP to ensure we head off any deficiencies.

As you can see the plants started preflowering mid last week, so now i changed the nutrien solution with preflowering ml/L. Some roots start to appear outside the pot at the base. As you can see the biggest one is higher than the led (shit, i can't make it upper ;( ). I have to think what to do Plants look happy and healthy and have doubled it size last week, from 35 cm to 68 cm Day 46 update - I opened a groww qestion about some marks on leaves. I thought it was nutrient deficency but it seems to be nutrient excess. I have used flash clean from terra aquatica/ghe to remove salt excess at coco. I also observed that it was too dry on some plants so i will add 1 more water period along the day. I will wait 24-30 hours without watering and will change the reservoir to flowering doses. I have taken a few pics with natural light
