26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. 12/7/2017 - Placed 2 SODK seeds into a shotglass full of water. When they sink they will go into a wet paper towel in a ziplock bag. Once sprouted they go into Root Riot cubes with Mykos packed in the hole where the seed, inside a clone dome just on the floor in the tent. Once they break ground and the root is hanging out the bottom of the root of the cube they will go into their final pots, 5 gallon MaxxYield (maxxyield.com) Super Pots. soil: the top half of the pot is Bush Doctor Coco Loco with Mykos mixed in (3 tbsp) the bottom of the pot is Fox Farm Ocean Forest with Mykos mixed in (3tbsp) 12/9/2017 - The seeds have sprouted and are now in their root riot cubes. 6/14 Week 8 and things are going fairly well on the grow. Some issues with PH that I hope have been worked out by recaling all of them and using two to test PH. Bud building continues Basic nuets only till flush 6/15 Another day in the life... 6/16 Gave a shot of PK she is building so fast she just runs out of Phos and then CA cant do its work 6/17 Continuing PK one more day at least 2ml/gal and 1ml/gal Cal-Mag We have an explanation for the CA issues. This was bag coco not block, it came prewashed and buffered. Apparently the buffering was sub par and has degraded thus drawing CA from the plant and feed. Thus adding 1ml/gal Cal-Mag to compensate Once again DYOPW Do Your Own Prep Work 6/19 She is building buds faster than any plant we have grown to date. Going to split the cal-mag and pk feedings, morning PK evening cal-mag may just be a best practices thing and the time for both is very short Someone asked me a question on PK/cal-Mag and I didnt know they can conflict depending on the formulas involved. So safe is the word She is finishing up to flush stage anyway fewer new hairs so the ambering will increase wont be long now, within a few days.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a safe weekend. I currently have the Spectrum X running at 100% power and have upped the time on the UV/IR bars to 90 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. The only thing I would change is to have individual timers for the different spectrums. I did hear from another grower that Medic Grow does sell a controller that has this feature for $300. Not much to do this week other than keep the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old.
