Week 7 Flower: The High Stakes of Growing Gold As we sail through Week 7, the journey has been smooth sailing, thanks to our signature dry amendment feeding technique. But now, the stakes are higher as we transition to flushing our ladies. With rain on the horizon, the threat of bud rot looms large, adding an element of suspense to our cultivation adventure. But amidst the anticipation, one thing remains certain: our bud sites are densely packed and sticky as ever, promising a bountiful harvest on the horizon.

There are plenty of show off buds especially from the one plant with 4 Queen kola thickenfrosty bitch buds. They did drop a lot of weight in the dry, but all are very solid, very sticky nice buds. I will say that I was away for 9 days and my goddam dehumidifier snorkel fell off and the plants went on a pogo ride of humidity for fuck sakes. leading to one plant having a herm - just a few I noticed at the base. Everything else looked amazing!!! Classic Wedding Cake buds fresh out the Box! & now into MY curing jars! Super excited as this is one of my favorite strains -- r

The girls are picking up on growth now and getting bigger and bigger everyday, look like the Zkittlez XL are growing so much better as it growing in the fabric pots better oxygen going through the root now its the end of week 3. It time to cook up some compost tea to feed these girls before they going in to the flowering stage after next week

Had to go to new orleans for 5 days, my auto-irrigation setup failed and was barely giving water to the plants , they grew slower than they could have, so i may have stunted a bit of their growth this week. Despite that, they seem healthy and buds are on one of them are starting to mature. The other 3 are close behind. I posted a video of the timelapse during the time that my auto-irrigation failed. You can see the spurts of growth from a faulty irrigator only releasing a miniscule amount of water. This resulted in the plant slowly wilting, then exploding in growth when a tiny amount of water was released. (about a cup every two days, for about a week.) Otherwise, been watering when pots dry out, then a full runofof fill carbon filtered tap water (un-phed) treated with 3mg per gallon cal-mag suppemented Besides that, no nutrients have been added because I've been using FFOF, and the soil is WAY too hot. Will not use again

14-10-2021: Actually I have to start a next week by tomorrow but I have changed so much today I decided to start a new week today.It is still not easy to maintain a VPD of 0.7..... Well it is only an indication in my case because unfortunately I still do not measure the leaf temperature. Temperature was a bit on the high side last night because the temperature sensor of the PK125 has now ended up under the foliage. Of course it is a lot cooler there so it kept running at 10% I have adjusted that, so tomorrow I expect a completely different temperature trend. Also completely emptied the system today and replaced the Hy-Pro with Ata Awa MAX. I have exchanged the Calmag with the Green Sensation, so this will also be dosed (1 ml/L) from now on. I will add Calmag from now on with a pipette. Let's see how the PH is going, as the packaging of the ATA states that it is self-regulating. If that is the case I will put CALMAG in the reservoir of the PH- and reprogram the system. I have chosen not to scrog today. I drilled a hole in the middle and the container to the right of it and killed quite a few roots (unfortunately the drill went through) and that seems, in combination with other nutrition, a suddenly somewhat lower temperature and the torture between the leaves to to get the sensor in place is enough stress for 1 day to me. So they can now go to sleep and tonight we'll see if there is damage. I'm guessing it's not that bad because previous experiences have told me that they can take quite a bit. 17-10-2021: Flowers are starting to form. 18-10-2021: 2 hours of bondage ;) 139 tie-wraps. Coming up on third base! No issues at all from the recent wetness and really getting some nice purps on the GG4xGSC and the Green Gelato. Ironically nothing yet on the Ayahuasca Purple.

Getting into the final week and a half. I’m looking for all cloudy trichomes, with no amber on this one. So it might be day 56 on the dot. I’ll take a look later in the week. I’m getting excited. I’ve never had White Widow.

What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue! Let's see how this strain does during the summer months! Cheers everyone! This has been an awesome grow. What I'm lacking in yield, I yet again make up for in quality. And I don't think yield will be an issue with the clones, they're week 6 veg - and quite massive! - RWI out!! 😁 😶‍🌫️🤑

Into week 10, well past the estimated 6 - 8 weeks to harvest time from the online stats, looks like i have a few more weeks to go until they are ready. There has been some expected leaf drop from the lower canopy, the signs of it autumning off are appearing, but all is going well and the buds are developing nicely so far. I started a timelapse a couple of weeks ago in the tent and i've left it to run untill the end of the grow, will be interesting to see how it turns out, i'll upload that on the harvest page. 20/11 Had a slight misshap as i was inspecting the plants and bent a stem over 😱 I utilized two matchsticks and some masking tape to splint it up again, the repair is holding nicely 😬 I've documented the repair and uploaded the video for posterity. 23/11 Fed 2 plants 1/4 tsp molasses 1ltr filtered water @6pH, ec200 with just molasses, just to see if there is any positive effect. Trichomes are just starting to appear. Defoliated the lower canopy, cutting all the smaller buds not getting any light and upper fan leaves to allow more light and energy to hit the main buds.

Transplanted 6 girls into the hydro, 3 Bubble Gum Kush and 3 Critical +2.0. The critical is a beast, can’t wait to see how it grows! Dealt with some hot water issues but think I’ve got it together.

Second week of rinsing. The trichomes have finished developing. And I like the appearance of the plant. I place the plant in the dark for around 5 days. Period during which there will be no watering to allow the soil to dry and be able to Cut. See you in a few days!
