Another smooth week. I did some light defoliation and a bit of lollipopping to tame the jungle, mainly removing leaves that were shading bud sites or blocking airflow through the canopy. I’m hoping the Hyperion stretch is finally done, because I’m right at the space limit. I had to run the light at 80% to manage height and keep the main tops around 50k lux (and under 60k) to avoid stressing them. I bumped feed strength up to 2.0 EC. I also added another fan down low to improve air circulation and I’m trying to keep VPD above 1.0 kPa. It’s not easy all day, especially when lights go off, so I’ve been compensating a bit by running temps higher. Not ideal to be above 27°C at this stage, but the dehu can’t always keep up. Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Things are going well in here. Would like to do some trimming up, this week, getting ready for flowering. Getting some smell now, when I open the tent up. Funky is what it smells like. Sorta funky Cheezie with some citrus hints. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

Average stem height of the big ones are 36 inches, but the mishap past week with the lights might have stressed em a bit and caused some stretching. There was also a humidity issue for a few hours, which could be the culprit for the stretching. Two stems are pushing 40 inches. However, there are no signs of light or heat stress, despite the stems getting within inches of the leds. We shall see... I’m also battling a cold Canadian winter where it hit -42 Celsius today. Plants are in a cold basement in an old house. Had to bring out an extra space heater. Can’t get the temp in my tent above 20. Tent is too packed to introduce a stand up heater. Maybe I’ll convince the plants that fall is coming and they need to bud like crazy.

The plants growth rate accelerates with each new leaf and is more than double from 1 week ago. The plant is showing leaf curl. The leaf color is normal. I started the week with a low EC, high volume fertigation. Obviously there is a nutrient issue, but the plant is still vigourous. So I will do another high volume low EC fertigation and tweek the nutrient solution to compensate for some of the possibilities of deficiency or toxicity.

Final week, things got really easy for a few days. The plants are eating less and less each time I check the ppm at the end of the day. It will be RO water only when topping up the res for the rest of the grow. Made an effort to lower humidity as much as possible seeing as I can't do cold stress. Triches are pretty much all cloudy and just waiting on some amber to show. Only seven plants made it in the end as a revegged plant was out competed and basically it might give an ounce. 1.235 2.440 1.920 1.385 .940 1.075 Combined wet weight: 8.99 kg or 19.8 pounds

Each plant has been watered/fed, with a glug or two, from a 1 gallon mixture of 1tsp/gal floranova-grow (ph7). Mother plants are definitely ready for a pruning/cloning!

Sex should be showing any day now, on these regular Banana chem freak plants, from Terpyz mutant genetics. I did include some pictures where you can almost see there is either a calyx or a pollensack on the way, but i think the details disapeared when i transfered the file, i´m currently using my Samsung smartphone for pictures, and my old Huawei P20lite for the videos, it get´s old really fast doing this week after week, so i spend a lot more than i can afford, on a brand new camera and lens, bought at Cotswoldcameras.com, just hope they are legit, trustpilot only had positive remarks, but there is a long delivery time, 2 - 3 weeks, so for a little while longer i will continue to use the 2 mobile phones. Once i can tell the difference between females and males, i will discard the males, transplant the females and feed them with some Bactrex and Orgatrex, then after 24 hours, take clones of the females for a small pheno hunt, veg the mothers untill the fill out the tent, i might even top them again some time soon to get them to branch out even more, but that also means for a longer veg time, it depends on how many females i get. Last week marked an important moment: 👉 minimal intervention until now… 👉 and then, a necessary defoliation to rebalance the canopy We’re now entering a phase where the plant is no longer building — it’s refining, stacking, and expressing fully. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment — Dialed for Transpiration & Expression • Temperature: 26°C • Humidity: 60% • CO₂: ~1000 ppm This combination is not random — it’s intentional. At this stage, we are pushing leaf surface activity (leaf VPD / EPD balance) to keep: • stomata open • transpiration active • nutrient flow constant This is why these plants are drinking ~1.8L per day in 14.5L soil. 👉 That’s not just “thirsty” — that’s a fully active metabolic system. When a plant drinks like this: • roots are oxygenated • nutrients are moving • photosynthesis is running efficiently This is exactly what we want in mid-flower. ⸻ 💡 Light Strategy — Full Canopy Activation We are currently running: • Top lighting • Inner canopy lighting • Under-canopy lighting All LED. At the beginning of this week I put the plants on 12-12 in terms of feeding I only watered with PH 6 because they have some burnt leaf tips next week I will start flowering feeding.This morning when I opened my tent my fan fell on a plant and it broke a main stem. Hopefully they will survive 😭

I've found 4 balls on 2 nodes (the 2 first) on the #2, I've removed them. I'll see if I can keep under control, I'm not really surprised. They got lot of stress the 2nd/3rd week.. The other nodes look good. And #1 really sweet 😍 I've decided to don't touch the plants to don't give more stress. 💦I give water each 2 or 3 days and more and more/plant 400 ml Water + RQS Grow Tab (1/2 for 2.2l ) 450 ml Water + cannazym 500 ml Water + RQS Grow Tab + Boost @PH6 Tips💡 For the rqs tabs, to don't waste, I cut the tabs and use a 1/2 /tabs for 2 or 2.5l Water. I'll continue the grow tabs one week more and starting bloom tabs in 1 week. Lamp @60% I've moved the plant this end week in my new tent 120x60x150.
