Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! I grew two plants of the FFT1 testers. I started them indoors in the spring during COVID19 lock down. The germination date was the week of March 25, 2020. I didn't start the grow diary at that time because I was having a really hard time coping with the COVID19 non-sense and I wasn't sure I was completely committed to properly documenting the grow. In the end, I think this grow helped me cope... ha! So I topped one FFT1 plant, and let the other grow 'native' with no interventions at all. Both were grown totally organically with no added nutrients. We moved the plants outside on May 1, 2020 into our home made greenhouse/trellis. I took a few photos but I was still not committed to documenting the grow. I wasn't even sure if the plants would grow well considering I hadn't provided them with any nutrients at all. In fact I felt like I was neglectful of the ladies LOL. It became clear to me by June that these plants were gonna take off... they were growing like mad! I realized that I really HAD to share what was going on in my back yard. Also, I had made the commitment to FastBuds, and I was sure they would want to see the plants. I started this journal as soon as they started the first signs of flowering. By the time the stretch was done Big Mama (my first FFT1 plant) was an insane monster at 10 feet fall. Little Sister (the second FFT1 plant) was a solid 7 feet tall. Big Mama had been topped and mainlined and holy cow she was HUGE with eight main colas. Little Sister had not been topped and she was less than half the size. The buds were beautiful as you can see from the photos. They weren't super fat, and they weren't super frosty, but they were like piles of spaghetti noodles with beautiful streaks of amber. There were bud sites ALL OVER. Near the end of the grow, as the buds were 99% ripe I started to see small spots of bud rot in Big Mama. That's when I pulled the trigger and started the harvest. COVID19 put a real damper on our harvest party, but we were able to call in a few friends from our 'bubble.' Big Mama's wet yield was around 2600g and Little Sister offered 1300g. I was totally astonished. I have to LOL any time I look at the numbers LOL. We trimmed all of Big Mama by hand, but lost our steam for Little Sister. Her trim was rough, and we will have to use our Trimbag to clear off some of the foilage... I adjusted my dry weight numbers to accommodate for this. We dried them in the mesh tiered dry racks for the first few days and then moved them into large paper bags. They are not quite as dry as I think they should be, and so I have adjusted my dry weight numbers to reflect this. Total dry weight for both plants is coming in at 2000g total which is around 4.5 pounds. We put a bunch in the vapes and had a whole lot of fun! The vibe is a solid hybrid offering lots of energy for chit chatting and talking shit. But it's not a racy energy... it's somehow relaxing at the same time. We watched Alone on Netflix and made out... while eating ice cream and chips LOL. I was properly stoned. Stoned as fuck. My eyes were completely red and Njaak was a squinting grinning mofo. He's saying it's his new favourite, and that's before it's cured. This bodes well! So we have put the weed back in paper bags for the cure and are excited about this one. The flavour... we are going with sweet with a bit of citrus, but I think we need a bit more time to let it cure before we could offer reliable data. I'll update more on that later.

MAY 17th I'll water the 10th planet again tomorrow. Things are going amazing! I topped one of the blueberry cheeses and fimmed another. I'm not seeing any stress. If they seem good I'll hst some of the others. This doing ONE thing at a time helps figure out problems. It's 75 right now but it was 39 this morning. UPDATE: IT STARTED FUCKING SNOWING TODAY. Forecast looks good and others are putting plants out. I'll hold off. They'll go to the garage soon for hardening off. Looking at other diaries I had much bigger "clones" but they always come full of problems (see last year). These plants are the healthiest ivecever grown. I'd rather have a healthy plant half the size than a clone with a bunch of issues. Tomorrow I'm planning to wash my stakes and grow bags. I'll get the palletts in position and move my cage. I also am considering either putting a small pvc cover on my cage or finding a way to attack something to the trellis system for heavy rains. If anybody has ideas I'm all ears. 5/18 DIDN'T WATER TODAY. Soil was dry but the pots were heavy. I could feel some moisture through the drain holes. I think it would've been alright either way but I'm erring on the side of caution. I'll check again later in the day. I topped one and fimmed anotger of the blueberry cheese. The purple punch is quickly catching g up to her sisters. I HAD to add a small ring around one of the purple pounce plants as it was WAAAAY lighter than the others. It's possible it could've gotten less water than the others last time due to its positioning. I'm also considering adding silica next feeding. So much left to do before they go outside. Oh and it was fucking snowing here yesterday! May 17 and it was snowing middle of the day. Morning temp wad 31 this morning so I'm staying cautious and making sure I have all my ducks I'm a row before I go outside. I'm also weighing options to either add a pvc hoop on top of my cage or look into protecting plants individually come late fall with our horrible weather. I'm leaning towards the pvc top. I think that would greatly help things. UPDATE: Went back over at four and everything's looked great. Leaves praying to the sun. Topsoil is dry as fuck but I can still feel a little bit of moisture through the drain holes plus they have a little heft left to them. I plan on watering tomorrow and see how that goes. I wanted to add silica but I'm afraid of changing to much or raising the ph of the soil. 5/19 Found out that my scale will actually weigh the three gallon pots! I don't have an empty one to fill with dry soil to compare though. WATERED everything today. Topsoil was totally dry. Some plants had some heft to them. However I last watered on the 15th so I decided to cut back on the amount of water and see how that goes. Instead of the full 28oz powerade bottle I gave them a little over half. I tried for approx 16fl Oz per plant. Everything is looking great. Other than the little runt. I don't know whatcthecdeal is with that one bit it may get given away or culled. I also FIMed a purple punch. UPDATE: Went back over around 11 and boy weren't the plants looking good. I'm moving my cage and sanitizing my pallets tomorrow. I sanitized my grow bags. I vleaned them with the baking soda and water and a scrub brush but since I had that problem with fusarium last year I then soaked them in a h2o2 solution for 20 mins before rinsing them off and letting them dry. I am so stoked for this season. Wondering about the pvc top and whether it's necessary 🤔. I have TONS of heavy equipment (well dad does) but the smallest thing we have is a backhoe and a bulldozer neither which I'm to inclined to use to move big plants. I thought that since the door to that garage is large enough to drive a front end loader in than if I could find a way to make my pallets mobile I could bring them in if storms are coming. I worry to much. I also got rid of anything that could gave spires on it. Ilk need to wash my plastic trellis netting and the bamboo as well but better safe than sorry. 5/20 Plants are still growing like weeds and are the ones I HST are recovering nicely. Soon they'll go out to the garage and spend their days outside in the sunshine and their nights inside the garage while I harden them off. Having trouble uploading stuff right now. 5/21 Topped two blueberry cheese and one purple punch. Plants are still doing great. We are getting close to go8ng outside in tye forever homes in smart pots ranging from 10gal to 50 gals. I still need to sanitize the pallets but this week I plan on hardening these girls off fully. 5/22 I weighed a couple of the plants and they were different. I think I got a couple 7lbs one that was 6 something and a heavier one that was 8. Looks like I've found the right amount. I plan to water tomorrow. They'll be moved in the next couple days to the garage and I'll let them fill the 3's before they go in their final homes. Plants are recovering from HST great. Still getting cold nights here. Honestly if I didn't have a major life event happen they'd be outside hardening off now 5/23 Watered everything with approximately 18oz of water. I am either going to move plants outside today to indirect sun (even though they've handled full sunlight from an open window) in the garage and keep the light going for a little longer. They need to fill their pots before they go in their forever homes. I've got some work to do but it will pay off. EDIT: Cage has been moved to its new home. A huge pallet takes up most of it but I have littler ones that will fit in. I just haven't had a chance to disinfect these. I'm probably going overboard but I'm not fucking around with that fusarium or other any pathogens this year. I'm going to use the systemic organocide once I go outside. It's going to rain tomorrow amd might be cold but I still move the plants to the garage in the morning.

Still giving them a 2:1 or 2.5:1 grow vs bloom nutrient. Its helping with some of the pink stems from last week. Feeding strength is up .2 point to reach 900ppm or aorund 1.8EC will leave it here fro the remainder of Veg. Prob will do for 2 more weeks then flip to flower as I just topped them and want to give them some time to recover. NPK ratio of 7-7-14 1:1 equal parts grow/bloom. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 "not yet used it yet" Also took some clones from the plants as well, took two main cuttings from each plant, forgot to do the one so its not shown in the first video up the updated clone pics later in the week. If any of these impress me then the clones will go outside and grow there all year for a extra special harvest. Or I'll give them out to some friends and family maybe a little gorilla gardening project, but I will wait before getting ride of them all as I'm still kicking my self in the ass over the Blue Cindy loss. really liked that plant and wish its clones I gave out where still aorund. Pros: Well bouyz after 2 weeks of beasties and following a good flush the nugz are stacking up nice and dense. Blue dream have awesome, thick towering branches and no doubt will lead to some monster buds. White widow had some good growth but slower than the others but the trichrome production tops the others. The center gold leaf is still taking the lead on size and will most likely produce the most. Cons: the behemoth gold leaf in the corner would not slow down and is now, I believe, rootbound and possibly suffering from some rot. Select leaves in the center are turning yellow with brown spots and falling off. It doesn't seem to be affecting flowering but I took precaution by giving it a shot of root doctor. The white widow in the center is showing similar signs but at a way lesser extent. Could just be me overreacting but a few of the leaves are yellowed and wilted with small black spots (usually a sign of root problems). I usually leave some foliage randomly hanging at the lower section of the plants to remedy any problems that may arise before it gets out of control. Hopefully these issues don't progress and I can reap the rewards of a bountiful harvest. 4-5 weeks remaining.

These two have been grooving. The bigger Bush plant vegged almost a week longer then the other. Only change was raised the nutrients to 1/2 dose. And increasing how often I need to water.its about to be a daily thing . They are hungry. I'm not complaining lol. But let's see how they fill out over the next 21days. Roughly at day 55 as of oct 25th !! Appreciate anyone checking in here. If u can leave a comment/like so I can check out what ur growing!!

Hey guys, The ladies are doing great, Luke's leaves are slowly turning purple and generally yellow. Anakin is a bit behind and will probably take another 2-3 weeks. Luke will be harvested soon, the weather is just too tropical for me, I get almost 85% humidity in the evenings, which is just too high, I think this will be my last outdoor grow. Luke smells so delicious, a mixture of grandma's fabric softener and fruity lemon.

these ladies like to get wet every now and then...so i figured the shower is a nice temporarily spot for them.. that means......yes..i am a stinky bastard at the moment 😌

Day 22: First day of LST. Braced the stem down low first in the opposite direction to what it was being bent to protect the roots from being torn. Bending the main stem down is the only bit of LST I done today. I’ll give it a few days to find shape and fill in its own gaps before going at any of the branches. Day 23: Just gave the main stem another little pull today to bend it down a bit further. Day 24: Moved the hook on the garden tie up one node on the main stem and pulled down further again. Also started pulling the branches into place and pinning down. Clipped off a few lower leaves. Day 25: Another bit of LST today. Gaps are filling themselves in nicely already. I started pulling the top of the main stem off to one side to fill the gap shown in the photo. Watered today as well with nutrients(1ml G, 1ml SR). Clipped off one more lower leaf. Day 26: I didn’t want to remove anymore leaves until next week but there were a few that were either getting in the way or really blocking off light so I removed 3 lower leaves and the one biggest leaf from near the top of the plant. Done another small bit of pulling and pinning. There are 4 branches that I’m waiting to get a bit longer before I pull them into position. Day 27: Watered today with nutrients (1ml SR, 2ml CM, 3ml G). Pulled the last few branches into place. There will still need to be some more adjustments over the next few days but it has its main shape now. There’s loads of signs of pre-flower but I think I’ll stay on the veg nutrients for another few feeds. Day 28: We moved from the veg space to the main grow space today, it’s the most beautiful thing me and Babydoll have ever seen. The human helped us move obviously. Turned the lights down to 80% for the first 12 hrs. We found some yellow spots on two leaves. Removed both leaves and posted a help question to Growdiares.

Al ser la variedad con más predominancia sativa de las tres que habian estas fueron cortadas un poco antes de tiempo y los tricomas en su mayoria eran todo cristalinos, apenas habian unos pocos lechosos o ámbar y muchos de color morado xd. No obstante una vez pasados los dias huele bién, sabe bién y buen efecto. No sabria describir el sabor pero tiende a Kush. fácil de cultivar y como pudo verse hace o puede hacer unas bonitas porras.
