DAY 6 WEEK 2 - FLOWER Hello fellow growers, I'm thrilled to report that my current grow is progressing smoothly as I enter Week 2 Day 6. The plant is showing promising signs of healthy growth with no apparent deficiencies detected thus far. However, I've encountered some peculiar symptoms with the leaves; it seems like there's some tissue tearing or ripping occurring. Despite thorough inspections, I'm confident in stating that pests are not the culprit, as I haven't observed any other signs they typically leave behind. It's a bit perplexing, but I'm keeping a close eye on it. One aspect I've been experimenting with in this grow is the use of an ExHale CO2 bag. While I had hoped for a noticeable increase in CO2 levels, I haven't seen a significant improvement. After careful consideration, I suspect that the lack of a sealed environment is hindering its effectiveness. Humidity issues prevent me from sealing the environment completely, which likely results in the CO2 being dispersed rapidly. For now, I've decided to forgo using the CO2 bags, but I'm open to revisiting them in the future if I can establish a sealed environment. Looking ahead to the start of Week 3 of the flowering stage, I plan to introduce PK boost additives to enhance potassium intake. This strategic addition aims to support robust flower development and overall yield. Despite the minor setbacks, I remain absolutely thrilled with the progress of this run. With approximately five more weeks to go, I'm eagerly anticipating the taste and aroma of the final product. I appreciate all the support and encouragement from fellow growers. March 7, 2019 Update: These babies are doing great! I plan on transplanting 6 plants and moving them into the flowering room this weekend. As of right now my plan is to move 1 Medi Kush CBD, 1 DinaMed CBD and 4 Cherry Hemp plants into flower. I'm going to pick the largest/most developed plants for the move. Then I'll keep the rest in veg for another month, next month I'll pick the next 6. I'd like to get the plants on a monthly rotation so I can be harvesting monthly.

Returning from vacation to find them flourishing and loving their tent. More to follow soon.

This week they they all took well to being topped. 🔝 ✂️ Temps are a little lower than I'd like in the veg tent but they're still chilling.☀️ I added a small humidifier to the tent to help out with this dry season.💧

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had high temperature of 89 with mostly sunny skies. I watered 2-3 gallons per pot. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 90°F with clear, sunny skies. I watered 2-2.5 gallons from the hose. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 97°F with mostly sunny skies. It was a scorcher. I watered 2-3 gallon twice today from the hose. Day 4 we had high temperature of 95°, but it felt like 102°. Skies were partly cloudy. I watered 2-3 gallons twice today. Day 5 we had rain the previous night and early morning. We had cloudy skies, with high temperature of 81°F. I did not water today. I added 50ml of blood meal top dressed to each pot. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 87°F and mostly sunny skies. I watered 2-3 gallons. Day 7 we had partly cloudy skies and a high temperature of 86°F. I watered 2-3 gallons each pot

So I stopped topping this week to see where the tops are at on these plants, and after seeing the explosion of growth after the 1 to 7 gal transplant, I think these are good to go! I’m waiting on switching to flower until I plant and germinate my next run, which will be in about 2 weeks. Also debating on running clones of these if I see any I like during the flowering stretch. I had to instal a carbon filter yesterday, Oct15, as my mother in law said it smells like a skunk sprayed the side of my house. Didn’t think I would need to until flower, but I guess it’s expected with this many plants! Steady growth, and slowly shifting nutrient amounts up, get ready for some buds!

This was the Athena blended line nutrition grow. She did well. No major growing issues. She has a pretty flower that is frosty, and sticky. She has a very tropical, and fruity smell.
