Not sure what's up with the 2 plants I decided to do this journal with. As my luck would go they are 2 of 3 critical purples that absolutely refuse to flower..Here is a side by side picture of what i mean. I have 5 of this strain and x3 are acting like any other photo I've grown. I took the liberty of super-cropping the 3 I mentioned, however my Gorilla Glue/GWS and x2 of the CP all seem on track and starting to stack up :) *DAY 64 - Deer or rabbits.... after my initial panic I discovered that they weren't hurt too badly

Into the second week of flower now, due for another defol before the stretch ends and the last defol of the grow then let the girls recover and focus on the flowers, cuttings are showing lots of roots 11 days after planting, high humidity in the propagation container and the ezy plugs make it a breeze

Hello Growmies, The first week of flowering has wrapped up, and I'm pleased to report that she's stretched evenly through the ScrOG. I've been doing some light defoliation where leaves were overshadowing other shoots. She's showing a clear preference for a pH below 6. Anytime it creeps above that, the plant begins to experience nutrient lockout. I'm keeping a close eye on this and will adjust the pH as necessary. Her root system is expanding robustly, gearing up for increased growth above ground. To support this, I've upped the dosage of Orca along with the boost accelerator. Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.

8/30 - Day 65: All is great. Plant 1 will be harvested very soon, I'm thinking September 6th or 13th... all depends on the trichome development. I have come across a wicked calcium deficiency that I am solving with foiler spray and a little more supplemented in the nute mix, but I don't quite understand what's happening. I will post a question and update with information. I read it takes about a week to fix, so I'm not to worried about it ruining my harvest, it just sucks and I want to fix it. 8/3 - Day 69: Fuck... man... it's CRAZY how much they change overnight at this stage. We are flushing plant 1 (center plant in photos) Sunday, and we will harvest her September 13th, at the latest. I check her trichomes everyday and they are still not milky — so we wait! Colors are beautiful, bright orange and a wonderful violet purple. The sugar is just piling itself on. Smell is average, but if you bump them, or trim a leaf... it gets much, much more potent. The buds are sticky as literal superglue. I cannot wait to smoke. We have been fighting a small CalMag deficiency the past 8 days, but I think we are out of it. Typically takes 6-8 days to see any sort of relief from this, and I haven't seen it spread to a few of the older colas, so that's good! I'll get some more micro shots later this week. Harvest scheduled for September 13th. Flush starts tomorrow - 9/6. Fuck. Yes.

Well the girls are swelling up and smelling fantastic this week.Noticing the trichomes really building up lately.These papaya cookies are a very resilient strain as I’ve battled heat and humidity for a large portion of the grow and they have been doing great.Its been a blast watching these girls grow and develop.Will update later on in the week also I’m keeping light intensity set at 60 percent power because that’s what seems to make the happiest.Ive tried to pound them with light and added a co2 bag but they did not like the heat or extra light.I used some organic Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses to add some sugars and a dash of epsom salts for a little more Magnesium.Ive been back and forth in my brain with the light intensity and Day 52 now set at 80 percent power.Reading some reviews of this strain she is a sun lover I believe so I’m just going to let them have it.Some of the fan leaves are fried some curling and fading but the new growth looks healthy and the buds are looking amazing..I’ll give them a final haircut later on this weekend.Day 55 the buds are maturing the pistols turning bright orange and trichomes building up making some very frosty buds :).I can’t wait to smoke these girls 🥦🔥😎.

This plant has been developing slower than FBT2203 and 2205. I think this is genetic differences and has a lot to do with cooler air and soil Temps at the front of the tent. Amazing how much 1 or 2 degrees can have on growth rates. FBT2207 has caught up to 2208 and growth rates have taken off since I made adjustments to keep soil Temps above 15C. The floor of this shed is not insulated and it shows. Pictures are day 38 from seed

The final week!Just waiting for the trichomes to shift from milky/clear ---> milky/30% amber. This girl was unfortunately nutrient locked since week 3 of flower, due to low ph (~4). Yield suffered. Potency didn't!

Day 70 (Day F26): streching has started

Hi together! Since last Week there is really no Big difference, #5 is developing better than I thought, and the other two plants are just preparing for harvest. There is no Big increase in amber trichomes on Both plants, I dont know the Reason behind that. I Plan to harvest them no matter what until sunday - 100 days is enough Time to wait :P Since I have watered them without nutrients for 1 1/2 week, I will stop Water them the Next days and will let them dry out.
