Week 5, now we are talking, she is stretching and the roots are growing at a really nice rate. Feeding is almost at the recommended max without her showing signs of overfeeding, I always increase and try to push the plant but you need to go slow, step by step and see how she reacts, always give her 48 hours to see how she copes with the new dose, If she looks healthy stick to dose for the week and increase the following. A good trick to see if you plant wants more of less fertilizer is reading the ppm and check when the res level is lower after 3 days or so, if the ppm rises but the water level doesn't go down quick she has to much feeding. If the PPM stay the same or drop with quick water intake means she takes it in very happy and maybe can take more. Will continue to rise the dose till we reach the recommended max of 2.5ml/l, might play with the ratio later on.

Scratch what I said at the end of last week pests are still around just had some bug fly at me and bite/sting me on the neck now a got a welt on my neck smh, not sure what the heck it was it was some sort of black bug maybe a thrip but I honestly have no idea, did another neem oil drench on the medium only and tomorrow I'm going to use a hydrogen peroxide mixture again that way I can also use it on the tops and undersides of the leaves as well. Some of the roots started to become exposed on the top soil so I added more an inch or two coco to cover the exposed roots. Another successful week I guess the plants aren't dead so onto week 9, Week 4 of flower

- Worried about overcrowding of leaves and not enough light getting through. Based on research it is not good to trim Autos but i found later in this grow that my plants were strong enough to trim and actually seemed to benefit from more light being able to get through to lower branches - Lots of growth still even though flowering has begun and due to it being an Autoflowering strain it will keep growing - Had a bent stem this week on one plant, splinted it and seemed to have regenerated -

Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. 420Fastbuds Gelato Auto Week 3 What up grow fam. Weekly update for these three beautiful girls. All are growing absolutely amazing. Showing no signs of any issues at all. I'll introduce nutes this week using General Hydroponics Flora 3 part flora series. Will continue the same routine as they seem to be responding great. All in all Happy Growing

I learned a bunch growing these plants and the harvest was well worth the effort it took. 300 watt actual power consumption for lights so I think I'll give this strain another run in the future. The smoke is smooth the smell is potent fruity with a touch of citrus. I dried to 67% then placed buds in a plastic bin for one week burping 4 times a day for 15 minutes then Jared at a humidity of 63% with 62% bóveda packs for one week burping twice a day . After 10 days of I exchanged the 62% packs for 58% packs. Burns smooth and tastes great but I'm going to see what it tastes like in a couple more weeks.

Great growth from all the girls this week. Stretched massively. I have done a major defoliation to let more light to bud sights. 95% flowers are in light now. I will do another Small defoliation next week. Dry amended top soil with bat guano, worm castings and bio life. Should be enough to bring them into mid flower. I had a slight fungus knat issue but got some nematodes and they are starting to clear along with sticky traps. I have also taken cuttings from a few of the girls to cross a few of the stronger strains and create my own strain. First time I will be doing this so excited to see how it turns out.

Finishing up week 4 and damn what a week. Noticed thousands of soil mites swarm up to the top of the soil after watering and scared the shit out of me. Small little fuckers, I thought they were little bits of soil floating around at first until I took a closer look. I’m assuming they’re the beneficial kind as there is nothing wrong with the plants...leaves aren’t sick looking or droopy. Fun fact - according to Google there are >40000 types of mites. Whatever, I don’t want any more so I hit them with CannControl and Lost Coast soil drenches in between feeds and fucken hell most of them are gone now. Maybe it’s the population correcting itself or maybe I’m just lucky, either way I’m happy they’re almost all gone. I was considering using a blowtorch and burning the little fuckers but not anymore. IPM for the win! Now back to business as usual...next run I’ll be adding some diatomaceous earth into the soil mix. Thanks for stopping by 🌱I

Good few cm in to all of the directions in one night. Full package; 1st - removed 7-10 fan leaves from each girl. 2nd - LST on few longer branches 3rd - shower with fish mix and water solution. 4rd - Watering 500ml for Athena and approx 300ml for Xena. 12/11 What a great and a bit busy week with my girls. Last week, I introduced the scrog net, and oh boy, did she respond with enthusiasm! It's like witnessing a botanical ballet, as her branches gracefully weave through the net, creating a lush and even canopy. I sometimes catch myself humming "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies" while tending to her. The scrog net truly is a masterpiece, guiding her growth and ensuring maximum light penetration. It's like a support system for her budding ambitions. Now, let's talk about IPM, or Integrated Pest Management, because every grower knows that prevention is key. I noticed some unwanted visitors in the form of thrips and fungus gnats, so it was time to take action. But hey, I prefer a natural approach, so I called upon some tiny allies to join the battle. I introduced nematodes to the soil, those microscopic warriors who feast on the unsuspecting pests. It's like having a secret army of predators ready to defend my precious plants. But that's not all! To further bolster the defenses, I invited some other beneficial insects to the party. Spical Ulti Mite and Swirskii, the mighty protectors, joined forces to keep those unwanted critters in check. It's like an epic showdown between the good, the bad, and the buggy. Who needs a superhero movie when you have a living ecosystem fighting the good fight? In a way, the scrog net and the IPM predators are like my own version of the Avengers. They work together, each with their unique skills, to create a harmonious and pest-free environment. It's a sight to behold, and I can't help but feel like the proud commander of this green army.
