Day 64 Flower (Day 106) Today is the first day of the 10th week of flower and I put on a powerful headlight and some magnifying glasses and closely inspected the right girl during the dark period, so the colors from the grow lights didn't fool me. Unfortunately, I found another couple of buds with bud rot. Soon I'll have to decide to harvest the plant now and cut my losses even though she isn't done, or I'll take my chances and let her go a while longer. I turned up my extraction fan, installed another circulation fan, and ordered a dehumidifier that will arrive tomorrow. I'm hoping that all those measures will bring down the humidity in the tent (unfortunately, I can't do anything about the temps) and prevent further rot. I will let her go another few days and see if any additional rot pops up. Fingers crossed that it won't. The left girl is just doing her thing, but it doesn't look like she will fatten her buds. I guess all that stress in the tiny tent was too much for her. No matter what the result of this grow will be, it certainly has been a great learning experience. Day 65 Flower (Day 107) Things are looking good for the right girl as I haven't found any more bud rot yet. Turning up the extraction fan certainly helped, not only with the humidity but also the temperature dropped. Not by a huge amount, but I'll take whatever improvement I can get. Today the dehumidifier arrived as well, and I put it in the tent right away. The humidity in the tent has now dropped from the high 60s to a much more suitable mid-40s, and I hope this will be enough together with additional air circulation to prevent any further rot. I looked a bit closer at the trichomes today and found that most have gone cloudy, and I finally found some amber ones (about damn time!). I'm aiming for around 20-25% amber in this harvest as I'm hoping for a relatively "heavy" smoke - one of those frying-pan-to-the-head kinds of smokes suitable for late nights. Day 66 Flower (Day 108) Still no signs of more bud rot. Fingers crossed All I did today was to mix up some more nematodes in water and then feed each girl with 3 liters of it at ph 6.4. I'm not sure it was necessary for my main tent as the fungus gnats seem to have died out by themselves. I put in a new yellow sticky trap yesterday, but it was still empty today, and many dead gnats were lying on the tent floor. I have no real idea why, as I don't use any pesticides, but maybe the gnats really don't like this new low humidity in the tent. In any case, I'm just happy that the little buggers are gone. Day 67 Flower (Day 109) The bud rot is still staying away, and I'm getting hopeful that it will stay gone. All I did today was to give the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.4 water. She was a bit thirsty as I had the irrigation turned off for a couple of days due to the nematodes I gave them yesterday. I've now turned on the system in each tent and will just cruise along until harvest. The girls are already way over time, but most trichomes are cloudy, and I've started to see some amber here and there. Although, not much of a fade so far. Day 68 Flower (Day 110) All I did today was snap a couple of pics. It's all just a waiting game at this point, and I hope it won't take that much longer. I'm ready to cut the girls down and have some time off before the next season is here. I plan to grow a couple of photo CBD girls in my main tent and maybe an auto in my smaller tent. We'll see. But yeah, first, the current grow must come to an end. It looks like the left girl is starting to get her fade on, so there's that at least. I didn't bother looking at the trichomes today, but I'll have another look in a day or two. Day 69 Flower (Day 111) I didn't do a single thing with the girls today except snapping a couple of pics. What I did, though, was to make a smoke test of the right girl. Let me explain: Earlier this week, I had to cut off four buds due to bud rot. Out of those four buds, I saved two small tops after trimming off all rot (as well as plenty more just to be safe). I left those tops on the tent floor, where they dried in only a few days, and yesterday I decided to try a smoke. Naturally, I can't say anything about taste as this weed is dried the worst way possible: fast, hot, and in the light. On top of that, it's not cured either. That being said, holy smokes, batman! This stuff kicks like a mule, which is why I didn't post this last night already. I was too stoned to care. Precisely the effect I was hoping for from this harvest: properly stoned and incredibly lazy. Boom! Day 70 Flower (Day 112) Today was the last day of week 10 of flower. Not much exciting is happening this late in flower, so it is primarily a waiting game at this point. I did remove the irrigation system from the left girl and will hand water her instead. That cheap system I had was too erratic, and I'm better off without it. Plus, I hope that she will be done soon-ish. She will never win a beauty contest due to her scraggly foxtail flowers, but I'm still happy to get something from her considering all the stress she went through. The right girl has been doing fine all week, and no other bud rot has been seen since I fixed her environment. I rechecked the trichomes today, and still hardly any amber in either girl. I'll let them go for another week, but then it is time for the chopping block. This grow already went a lot longer than planned initially, and it is time to bring it to a close soon.

This week we have another big jump in height; they are taller than myself. I gave them more bloom nutrients this week and the daylight is waining fast now. We finally got a considerable amount of rain in my area, that was nice and refreshing for all of us including the plants. I hope that as the light continues to drop off significantly and the nights start to get cool, we will start to see some buds 😎🌱

Die Pink Mist arbeiten da wirklich super mit, wohingegen die SQ1 wieder arg am Limit gekratzt hat was den Nährstoffgehalt betrifft. Seit dem her trinken sie nur Wasser mit nem Schuss Cal/Mag. Der schon in letzter Woche erwähnte getrocknete Kaffeesatz (Phosphor, Kalium Reservat) lässt uns über die Tage des nicht Düngens dessen ruhig Schlafen. Seit einer halben Woche fahren wir auch mit 11 Lichtstunden. Dennoch und es war ja bewusst, der Bedarf war zu dem Zeitpunkt wirklich hoch und da wir vorher recht mager gefahren sind entschlossen wir uns für eine Anregung dahingehend. Der eigenen Unachtsamkeit wird uns auch nicht mehr widerfahren, gut aussehende Pflanzen beim Messen so nicht mehr zu Beachten, dass es zu einer Verbrennung kommt. Das Wort ,,Ausruhen,, trifft es hier glaube ich ganz gut... Day 31 - 38 (Day 32) I’m going to lower the humidity in the room to 55-60. Still no bananas but I’m still quite worried about #3 fully popping and ruining my whole crop. Since there is a good chance it’s going to herm, I’m going to give it with a small feeding today and watch it like a hawk this week. I think the boost actually made a decent difference in #5 from last week. I’m seeing slightly fatter main colas but that could just be from less topping/smaller plant or less nitrogen. I’ve decided to push my luck and give a boost to each plant. These things just aren’t filling out like they should. They look like they are on day 23 not 33. I’m going to top dress 3 tablespoons of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and later tonight I’m going to water in a low strength feeding of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m going to give a final heaping tablespoon of nature’s pride bloom to #5 so it can stretch to the end. I’m also going to lower the lights by a few inches. The tallest cola is now about 13 inches away and the rest of the canopy is at about 18–24. If I see signs of light stress I’ll raise it back up but I’m sure it could use the extra light on the lowers. (Day 33) I’ve been reading that bigger plants just take longer to mature and that’s probably why my plant hasn’t fully filled out or is about a week behind. I still could have done a better job defoliating some of the smaller larf branches on the bottom which just robs the good branches of energy. The more I think about it, the more I think I did a very poor job of defoliating the middle canopy. I’m still seeing lots of larf and small buds on the inside not getting much light. I’m still really worried about herms after finding that branch so I don’t want to stress them anymore. Removing suckers now is pointless. I missed my window of opportunity and now I have to deal with it. I’m going to slide an old DVD player underneath #6 to bring it up to canopy level. It’s lower buds are definitely not getting enough light. (Day 34) Ever since lowering the light, the canopy has gotten a few degrees warmer. I’ve noticed the buds don’t feel as sticky on top compared to the lower tucked branches that feel almost wet with resin. Outdoor weed grown in my climate will never reach the temperature where it degrades resin luckily. (Day 36) The buds are definitely swelling but not to the degree I want. Call me picky but I prefer my nugs as chunky as possible. I’m seeing lots of pistils but not much nug matter. Ive heard too many pistils can be caused by the overuse of alfalfa, kelp and seaweed extracts because of the natural PGR’s in them. I’m definitely going to reduce the amount of that stuff I use next round. I hope I’m just wrong and this tent is going to really fatten up this week but I have my doubts. (Day 37) A purple fade is starting on the underside of every plant except the bush who still is super dark green still. Last watering I got a nice amount of runoff so I’m just going to leave her until the end. I’m seeing a bit of yellowing on #5. I’m going to give it one final full strength feeding plus some rock dust and oyster shell tomorrow and that’s a wrap for nutrients. I might as well hit everything else with a final low strength 0-0-15 too. (Day 38) I’m amazed at how much this stuff smells compared to my last round. It smells very earthy and floral with a hint of pine. Definitely not that gassy smelling pine but more of a sweet pine.

Last week, instead of 2 g of GHSC Powder Feeding, I only gave 1.5 g p l of substrate so that I can give you another 1 g per l of substrate next week so that it lasts until the end :-). It is developing very well and the buds are starting to grow :-). The week was poured 3 times with 1.1 l each time. once of them GHSC Enhancer was added :-). The bottom shoots have now also been removed :-). As always, the humidifier was refilled every day and the lady was checked for her health. I hope you enjoy the update. Amazing strain, very easy to grow and hope to do do more Royal gorilla auto in the future and see what else RQS have to offer. Absolutely solid buds and potent asf. Taste is 9/10. thc I would say 20%+. I also used terpinator in weeks 7 and 8 at a rate of 4ml/l which I didn't list in my diary. I'm sure this contributed to the density of the buds. I will use terpinator alongside advanced nutritions range for all future plants.

And the winner is….. Divine Kush! To say the least, she fought the most and she really shined through. If you see the video above 👆 you can see how wowed we are by her, not only because she sprouted her own seed within herself but also because it shows how much moisture she had to deal with and she sort of found an interesting way to disperse of it! We did try to plant her seedling but unfortunately it did not survive but we are still in awe of it happening before our eyes. Nature is amazing and Our Kushy girl is very much appreciated, she has taught us quite a bit this year. WOW 🤩💚✌️ Plz note, we totally forgot to weigh her.

This is the final week of this girl. She has done well, the colas are big and juicy. Nothing much to say, I'll harvest her this friday. I'll update with my impressions.
