Day 23 The third week of flowering is complete. Most of the height growth is finished. Time for a radical defoliation. The girls look great. Unfortunately, Kush has formed hermaphrodites on the flowers in the shade. I hope that I have removed them all. The lamp will be raised to 100% output in two stages.

Day 64 - Starting week 10 off and she’s looking gorgeous. Gave her the first week 10 feeding of the trio and all looks amazing with this girl. She’s getting fatter and filling in a ton each day and really looking forward to finishing this grow. Haven’t had a single issue with this grow and gonna try growing a few different strains to have a variety for different ailments! Day 65 - Looking good as ever and getting fat. Gave her some water today and she’ll get her next feeding on Thursday. Just watching her fatten and grow each day and loving it! Day 66 - Still fattening up and getting really frosty. Gave her the second feeding today and she’s drinking it up. Other than that, no big changes today. Day 68 - Got busy yesterday and missed watering her and it showed today. All leaves were wilting but watered her and all looks good now. She’s definitely a gorgeous plant and can’t wait to harvest in the next couple weeks. Day 69 - Closing in on the end of week 10 and not too much to complain about. Just gave her a feeding of the foxfarm and she’s really starting to fatten up and get frosty. I’m thinking about 2-3 weeks left before harvest and can’t wait. Day 70 - Rounding our week 10 and not much to update. She’s fattening and getting frostier everyday still. 2-3 weeks and I think she’ll be ready.

Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. So I harvested the top half of the canopy at day 58 while leaving the bottom half to finish up for another week. Looks like the best yield so far running for my runtz muffin grows. Also dropped the water temp at night to promote colouration of the buds which seems to be working very well.

Gz# 1 & 3 & 6 is maturing Gz#3 is not fattening so much and sugar leaves are turning brown.maybe i chopif in next 2/3 days . I am happy with them

Starting week 5 by flipping to 12/12 (9th June) - Hairs popped on the 11th Removing my nitrogen nutes and replacing them with pk13/14 which I will continue until week 6/7 of flower. Im hesitant to defoliate too hard right now but will do so gently over the next week. Everything else is just perfect - super healthy, with the occasional nibble from bugs, one of the minor issues with outdoor growing. However, the ladybird eggs have hatched today and they should make their way up the pot(with the help of a little trail of molasses) and go into battle for me. Update 14th - Still looking great, my battalion of ladybird larvae chilled out by their eggs for a couple of days but they were gone this morning and i spotted them patrolling the plant so that's a nice little bonus. Bit more defoliation on the 13th and just continuing to bend and twist the thinner stalks to hardy them up ready to carry the heavy nugs. Been hot in the courtyard the last couple of days, giving her an extra litre of water in the evenings. Watering will be every day from now on, 2-3 litres depending on the temperature.

Day 32 ...This girl was too big for her 3gal container so I bought 40 Litre rubber totes to use! Drilled holes around the container and tied a ton of branches to the sides of the container with pipe cleaners. Plant was about 3 inches tall tied down and a 16 inch canopy. Follow as I veg this beast for another 30 days!

Although the yellow appearance this lady has still been growing at the same rate as the rest and shooting out the side branches nicley , she is a week behind the rest due too the first seed not germinating but week by week progress has been the same as the others
