Blueberry Headband OJ Cheese Update Dec 29 Day 50 Flower Have noticed an immediate response from the plants after the leaching and light raising. 24” seems to be the magic number. Work up from 30-40% strength at seedling and gradually move up to 75% at the end of veg. By the third to last week of flowering should be at 100%. Have fed the Girls nutes Weds. Cheese got no N as it’s supposedly within three weeks of harvest. Next week will leach heavily and feed only water. The rest of the Girls got the full treatment. NPK and CalMag. This is three days after leaching. Tried leaving the exit fan on so the humidity wouldn’t climb too high during the evening. Turned the heater off as well so it wouldn’t be running constantly as the air was being sucked out anyway. The temp reached 59°F. A tad too cold. The next evening, even though the RH was still high, I left the fan off. Thought the heater was re-plugged in but no. Temp only went down as far as 62°F. Still too low but better. The third night everything was plugged in normally and 65° was the nighttime low. Acceptable. Going to keep the nighttime temp there for the remainder of the grow. Colors should appear. Blueberry Headband is doing well. #1 is sprouting new calyxes from the ground up and the flowers are turning a dark purple. It seems way ahead of #2 which seems to be behind them all. New calyx growth there as well but the buds are much smaller with virtually no red hairs while #1 looks like it’s almost ready to harvest if you were judging by the hairs. The aroma is intoxicating! The Orange Juice is leaping ahead! Looks like it’s getting ready to harvest as well but there has been an explosion of new calyxes and swelling hasn’t started on any of the babes yet. The Cheese may be starting. So, about three weeks for Cheese and 5 weeks for the rest. By my guesstimation, these should’ve been vegged for another two weeks at least. That would be eight weeks! Big learning curve this week as I metered my well water which I’ve been relying on more and more as bottled is expensive. Neither I nor my dog drink it. TDS is over 700 PPM. Almost double the safe consumption level of 400 PPM. Have leached the plants once more extensively using RO water with a final .5Gal of PHed water with SuperThrive. The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil Day 1 we had a high temperature of 80°F. The skies were partly cloudy with a healthy breeze. I water 2-2.5 gallons today. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 79 and partly cloudy skies. This cooler weather has been nice. I watered 2-3 gallons each pot once. Day 3 we had high temperature of 92°F. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 85°F. Skies were cloudy to overcast with off and on rain until noon. Then partly cloudy in the afternoon. I added 50ml of blood meal and 50ml of iron spread evenly across the tops of the pots. No watering today. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 86°F, a short rain shower, with cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Watering done today by the rain. Day 6 we had high temperature of 81°F skies were cloudy to partly cloudy. We had some intermittent heavy rain so everyone was watered by nature today. Day 7 we had high temperature of 85° F, with sunny skies. I watered 3-5 gallons each plant from the water hose. This week was a success. These girls have really added some height. I need to do more work shaping these. They began to run low on nutes. The built of phosphorus from the recycled soil is beginning to play out finally. I added 45ml coop poop and 50ml plant tone spread evenly across the top of the soil. We had our first signs of flower today. I love these fast flowers

Sooo.... The last week was a bit of a pain in the ass. I flushed the plant on day 14 and just gave the plant plain water for the remainder of week 3 in flower. By about day 18 I started to notice that the leaves were getting a little yellow on the top of my mother plant. The LED lights were only 7 inches from the canopy! I hadn't been paying attention to how much the plant had grown and how close it was to the light. I raised the lights so they are 14 inches above the canopy. I thought that would make the color of the leaves return. However, her condition started to get worse. Several of the fan leaves on the top of the plant started to curl up and fold like tacos. I also noticed that some of the top fan leaves were getting copper colored tops and edges. some of the lower leaves under the canopy began to fall off with severe deformities and grey patches. Some research into the matter led me to believe that I had nutrient deficiencies. I knew that I had not fed her nutes in almost a week but I don't think that would lead to the plant's current condition as quickly as it did. I then tested the Ph runoff from the pot and it was incredibly acidic! Almost 5.0! My crap Ph pen had crapped out and was giving erroneous readings. I have since flushed the plant again and properly Ph'd the water. Now I have to wait and see if her condition improves. I hope this doesn't affect the yield too much. Pro Tip: Always calibrate your meters before use!

I was worried because the buds had a very different aspect compare to the other plants but I guess its their genetics that makes them buds with more pistils. they getting very fat now so I’m not worried anymore ! Please let me know if there anything wrong 🖖🏽🖖🏽

This week was great the smell is very pungent, I've been giving the CO2 lights are (I believe) adequate over 200 true watts on 2 plants started with purpinator as well as adjusting the ph and dropping the temperature. And the added spectrum. Try to get to the Anthocyanins and adjust my colors

Week 7: She is staying compact but stacking nicely, with all bud sites now clearly exposed after a light inner defoliation. Stretch has been moderate, so I’m focusing on maximizing canopy efficiency and light penetration rather than height. Lights are being lowered gradually while monitoring for stress, and overall she looks healthy and dialed in.

So this marks the beggning of week three veg for these fabulous lady's . One of them is still catching up to the other because she keeps deciding to do weird things haha . I'm starting my nutrient cycle this week to help them kick it into veg drive ! This week I am going through and pulling the large fan leaves off , she is a slow flowering plant so I'm just doing my best to be patient with her !!! A true gem with an unique structure !!! I think this girl is gonna be a 10 week flower , she is just starting to get smaller flower spots . Still a beast !! Added a CO2 bag directly above the canopy , added a 150 watt "blurple" light above GG#4 S1( number 2) More picture notrs and videos to follow !!

I changed the air stone a few days ago. I also added a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses to the solution. She is developing a lot of resin so far. 🤞🏻she keeps going strong. 01/24 - She ran great - Hit a hiccup with the mother and lost her right after the last set of clones where plucked - Human errors prevented the plant from reaching full potential but did produce very big Colas and final product was dense sticky nuggs with a wonderful terpene profile. She (clones) was awesome to run and will definitely be running soon and will be in rotation. 01/26 - The ladies locked up pretty nicely - Dense even 3.5G nugs - Run 60/60 on the dry and it completely negated the dreaded "Hay Smell" terpenes are very noticeable with clean notes of the lemon while burning.

This week I used Canna RHIZOTONIC as a leaf spray instead of only putting it in my feeding for the roots. I have never done that before but i have seen good results when doing it. So now i will switch between Canna Cure and Canna RHIZOTONIC when spraying the plants. Did some LST again and a little Defoliation, i really try to keep the plants as small as i can keep them. Because i don't want them to get higher then my balcony fench. The plants are like 20 cm +- in height and the distance between the top of the plants and the top of the french is 60cm. Since I grow some sativas as well I expect them to grow a lot while in flowering stage, so i have to keep bending them because they can only grow for another 60cm maximum. I also have to clean stuff around the plants to give them some more space lol and might have to make a larger roof or a door, because some rain still rains inside from the side. Day 36 Moby Dick it's at 28inches in height and Blue amnesia is at 32. and because the smell has become too strong to contain in the tent I turn on the carbon filter fan 24/7 instead of intervals of every 2 hours on for 30 minutes so now my tent it's not so hot and my plans drink less water every 3-days. I will keep updating . day 38 the plants are stretching very fast I'm forced to raise the light everyday the blue amnesia is 39 in tall and the Moby Dick it at 32 inches tall I resumed regular feeding schedules on the plants and they seem to be growing even faster after each watering. I only have noticed some lower fan leaves turning yellow and drying up I'm going to stop nutrients for the next one to watering sections because I think I've been pushing the plant too hard but it could be normal I just don't know. I posted two Fan leaf pictures to see if somebody has an idea what it could be but I think is probably too much nutrients I will continue updating thank you for reading happy growing. Day 44 definitely the issue is my fault pushing it too hard. They have nitrogen toxicity they have all the symptoms the claw leaf the weakness of the leave the yellowing and purple color of some branches the Deep shiny green on the leaf. the fact that I've been pushing that pretty hard I already have water them twice with clean water ph 6.0 hoping to use up all the extra in the pot and I will do it one more time from two days from now and then trying new nutrients at 1/3 full strength. .they seem to be responding well but if they start losing to many leafs i well flosh them in the shawer. Day 46 because I saw my plans going downhill pretty quick I decide to test Runner run-off it was incredibly High / 4000 + PPM so yeah to the showers they went until runoff was 1000 or below PH was at 6.2 and for the next watering in 3 days from now approximately depending on temperature and thirst of the plans I will resume flowering nutrients only and maybe only at 600 PPM the plant took a beating as well since I have to remove the scrog net and they were being support only buy it but I had no choice it was to see then die and then start over again or giving a flush so they can recuperate and take it slow for a few days until they can handle more nutrients. My hands end up being very sticky handling the buds even though I did it as gently as humanly possible so they were packed with sticki Racine even though they were stressed out what incredibly robust genetics. Day 48 the plants seems to be bouncing back they lost a lot of fan leaf at the bottom and some of the ones that were turning yellow at the top develop marks . One off the blue amnesia was more affected than the other three plants I will probably hold nutrients for it only for this plant. They stop stretching as much the blue amnesia are measures 44 inches and the Moby Dick is at 40 inch after the flush the buds are getting fatter and bigger every day . thank you for reading and have a happy growing
