Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. When you get to a certain point in the flowering, the real magic begins, so far beautiful yes but when the flowers form I would stay there speechless admiring them for the whole time enchanted. ---- General conditions in the Growbox - We are talking about our autoflowering @zam.nesia which are all in great shape and are now showing their differences. The F1 Hybrids are flying, they are ahead of everyone else, if you want to realize how much the F1s work look at my photos in the growbox. Look, test and then talk, I never talk before trying. I get an idea based on what people say, especially when I hear the old school know-it-alls a bit hippy talk badly about a new thing I think: "this new thing is worth trying, it must be the bomb", and in fact... ---- Plant - Even if they are not as fast as an F1 our Black Orchids are big, beautiful and frighteningly hungry. I started germination of this Gold Bar Kush bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cube with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into a 1 gallon pot. Plus get this lady situated into her new home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with GBK. It's a VERY robust variety packing hella branches, hella quick. Prime candidate for continues ongoing lst work. To maintain a clean,uncongested even canopy. She can become a jungle quick if left untamed. Shes very easy going in the nutrient department. Not hard to keep this one happy. Packs on lots of weight everywhere towards end of flower. Branches most definitely need some support or they will come crashing down. The flavor and aroma from this variety sre majestic. The intense indica effects are heavenly. Not hard to guess why it's back in the grow room for round 2.

📅 Week 13 | Days 92–98 📅 🌼🌸🌺 Flowering Phase 🌼🌸🌺 Day 98 🌞 – Apple & Bananas 🔸 Apple & Bananas continues to progress nicely, although the buds are still relatively small compared to the other plants. They’ve become noticeably denser since last week and are now showing an impressive amount of resin production. Trichomes are mostly milky at this stage, with a few still clear . Everything seems to be on track timing-wise. 🔸 The smell is starting to evolve in a very interesting way – somewhat sweet and sour, hard to describe, but definitely more complex and pronounced than before. Very promising. 🔸 Humidity is still on the high side (currently 63%), but it has improved compared to last week. Today, I finally turned on the dehumidifier and cranked all clip fans to full power. RH is now maintained at a more stable 50–60%, which I'm happy with. The dehumidifier does increase temps by about 2–3°C, but that’s manageable. 🔸 She’s also drinking significantly less, which lines up with her moving deeper into the late flowering stage.
