And that’s it… harvest time. After chopping and doing the wet trim, I ended up with 135g wet weight. After drying properly, the final dry weight came down to 35g of buds, plus around 10g of trim/popcorn that I’ll use for hash. To be honest, I’m pretty happy with how the plant performed overall. The structure was solid, she handled the environment really well, and the whole cycle felt stable from start to finish. Temperature swings weren’t a big issue, and she tolerated relatively high EC without showing real stress. Growth was steady, stacking was decent, and she never really looked unhappy. However… once I did the final manicure, I noticed something disappointing: there are quite a few seeds inside the buds. So realistically, those 35g are not going to be 35g of clean flower once all the seeds are removed. I still need to fully sort it out, but it’s definitely a reduction. That part is a shame. It’s frustrating because the grow itself went very well. Environment was dialed in, feeding was consistent, no major visible stress… yet the genetics still threw some herm traits during flower. I removed the nanners when I saw them, but clearly some pollen did its job. That’s probably the only real negative of this run. Still, considering everything: - Good structure - Stable growth - Solid resistance to temp variations - Handled nutrients well - Decent resin production The plant performed well… but the seeds definitely hurt the final result. Overall, a bittersweet ending.

If you are looking for yield then green gelato is most certainly the one you're looking for. If controlled right you can easy get 10oz per plant on these!

Into Week 8 now and really filling out. A good solid healthy outdoor plant with little to no extra care or intervention so far, really happy with it and excited to see how it finishes out. Scratched in some Coast of Maine Fish Bone Meal toward the end of the week and then lightly watered in for a little feed.

Die ersten Tage an der frischen Luft haben die Ladys gut überstanden. Die einzige Nacht die mir zu denken gab war die Nacht von Tag 6 auf Tag 7. Die Nacht wurde mit 7°C vorhergesagt. Ich hab die Ladys über Nacht reingeholt, damit sie in dem frühen Stadium nicht allzu sehr herausgefordert werden. Sie wurden dann nächsten am nächsten Morgen zurück nach draußen in die Sonne gestellt. Die Nächte sollen jetzt nicht mehr unter 10°C. Damit bleiben sie jetzt Tag und Nacht draußen. Diese Woche haben sie in einem kleinen Gewächshaus verbracht. Damit es nicht zu heiß wird, bleibt eine Seite offen und die Luft kann auch besser zirkulieren. Die Ladys bleiben vermutlich noch ca 1 woche in dem Gewächshaus und wenn sie dann etwas kräftiger sind, stehen sie unter freiem Himmel. Jede Lady kam an Tag3 in ihren Endtopf und auch ins Freie. Die StrawberryBanana steht in einem 11l Topf und die GorillaAuto und die GorillaZkittlez stehen jeweils in einem 8l Topf. Bei jedem Topf ist ca 1l weniger an Substrat im Topf. Der letzte Liter Substrat kommt mit dem Blütebeginn in die Töpfe. Jede Lady steht in einem Substratgemisch. Die Basis bildet Biobizz LightMix. Es wurden ca 5l BioBizz LightMix mit 2l Cocos/Perlite(70/30) gemischt. Jeder Topf bekam 5 gehäufte Esslöffel Megaworm, 1 gehäuften Esslöffel Batguano in die untere Hälfte des Topfes. Beim einsetzen der Ladys gab es ein wenig Great White Mykorrhiza an die jungen "Wurzeln" und auch ein wenig in dem Bereich wo sie eingesetzt wurden. Der Rest wurde mit dem Substartgemisch aufgefüllt. Auf die Oberfläche wurde ca 15g BioGrow von GreenHouseFeeding mit eingemischt. Da die Ladys vermutlich nach ca 3-4 in die Blüte gehen und generell nicht allzu viel Dünger brauchen, sollte das mit dem Megaworm und Batguano die unten mit eingemischt sind, bis zu Blüte reichen. Zu Beginn der Blüte wird der letzte Liter Substrat mit 20g BioBloom von GreenHouseFeeding, 2 gehäufte Teelöffel Batguano und 4 gehäufte Teelöffel Megaworm von Plagron gemischt und in die Töpfe gegeben. Angegossen wurde mit 1ml/L PowerRoots von Plagron und 1g/L BioEnhancer von GreenHouseFeeding. Jede Lady hat ca 500ml mit einem ph-Wert von 6.5 bekommen. Vorher wurde die Oberfläche anständig angefeuchtet damit das Wasser beim gießen nicht einfach durchläuft. An Tag7 war es erst nötig das zweite mal zu gießen. Auch hier gab es ca 500ml mit einem ph-Wert von 6.5. Vielen Dank fürs reinschauen liebe Growmies 💚

Day 29, Too many bugs! Mini grasshoppers and one of those leaf tunneling bugs, as well as a respiratory bug within myself! I’ve taken care of the bug inside myself, now time for the Diatomaceous Earth!!!! And to get that bug out of that leaf! Still feeding a little cal mag. I think it’s necessary. Day 31 - Day 1F Going to ramp it up from 1mg to 3mg per Gal of CalMag OAC. I will top dress something special, maybe the mother earth acid mix, or maybe I will do a seabird guano with insect frass and top it off with an Epsom Salt solution feed. I’m trying to practice using less of a branded store-bought approach. But to source everything is so much easier out of a store bought package, so for now, I might just do a small amount of seabird and insect frass, maybe just a super small sprinkle on the soil surface, not in water. Day 5 of flower: and WTF is up with this foul weather. Only 46 degrees Fahrenheit! (7.8 C) Cloudy with 15-20 mph winds. Gonna drop to 29 tonight… this is ridiculous. I don’t have access to the tent at this time, so it’s cold weather today. I could bring her inside where it’s warmer, and there is no light! Or those house lights put out only a few candelas worth, not exactly light for a plant. Do she would just stretch and go hungry inside. I’m leaving her outside. Bringing her in over night obviously! But not much growth is expected. Just gotta roll with the punches. I thought we were flowering this week, but barely small preflower development. So this is switched back to a Veg week.

After 4 days of heavy rain, the first mold appeared... So I spent about 18 hours searching for plants and picking out mold with tweezers After last year's experience with another seed bank, I expected the plants to be very affected by mold, but I have to say that Fast Buds genetics coped very well! Mold appear mainly on blisters to which the stem of the leaf leads water, which then collects between the stem and the blister I trimmed the plants more so that the air flows better and that water does not stick to them The plants look healthy and the flowers are gaining strength Especially the dark purple phenotypes look very dense and hard. it also looks very resistant to mold Very pleasant sweet fruity scent I haven't seen my children for 3 days, it's raining extremely ... the last time I was chased out by swarms of ants in the early evening, I've never experienced this before, there were maybe a million of them and they sat on me and on the plants I'm finally going to visit them tomorrow, I expect I'll have a lot of work to do with mold and I hope the swarms of ants haven't harmed them in any way

Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain. Nachtrag weil vergessen. Die Seifuku wurde getoppt, weil sie eh etwas Vorsprung gegenüber der Sour Zoda hat. Das Living Soil geht gut ab und beide wachsen gleichmäßig weiter. Bei der Sour Zoda wird noch etwas gewartet mit Training, dann wird bei ihr gezielt ein Blattpaar entfernt, um so einen buschigeren Wuchs zu erzielen. Bei meiner Red Velvet hat das super funktioniert, mal sehen, wie sie es findet. Gegossen wurden beide mit ungefähr 1,5 L auf 3 Tage aufgeteilt. ---- The Seifuku was topped since it already had a bit of a lead compared to the Sour Zoda. The living soil is working really well and both are continuing to grow evenly. For the Sour Zoda, training will be held off a little longer; then a specific pair of leaves will be removed to encourage bushier growth. That worked really well with my Red Velvet—let’s see how she responds. Both were watered with about 1.5 L spread out over 3 days.

What a difference a few weeks makes with better weather and better temperatures inside the plants have really taking off could be flipping this tent in a few more weeks will need to plan ahead and get the lot of plants going so I have a constant flow of flowering and vegging tents

This week, we feed mycorrhizal fungi to the plants and it gets the excellent results. The plants grow extraodinarily.

Yeah somthing is going on. Candida and Nightingale are not happy with there newts. Well if it continues I will flush them. Orinoco is doing great.

Update June 16th 3 liters fed with another week of fertilizer schedule skipped because why. the fuck. not! I know the can handle it. They’re battle rappers! Still found 4 new bugs on them yellow cards. Guess those are survived larvae from previous mating. But still no invasion. Update June 14th SFW - Second Flower Week. Fungus gnats seem to be defeated. First set of cards caught 5-7 bugs, second set is clean so far. Fingers double-u’d that’s the end of it. Samy handled the watering pause much better than Takti and had no drooping at all. Dynamite Diesel continues to be a much easier and more enjoyable strain to train. Not nearly as bushy, which makes handling and shaping a lot more straightforward.
