8/19/23 - Day 67 - Things are still looking good. We just had a water change. A couple more weeks! 8/21/23 - OK, ok ok, we have a lot of work coming up. Right now is like the calm before the storm. The storm I'm talking about is harvest, trimming, drying, and curing. This is the kind of labor that you LOVE to HATE. Especially with how many buds ill be pulling from this LEAF box. Let's talk about progress real fast. She is getting bulkier every day. Overnight she drank about 300+ ppm of nutes. She likes the nutes a lot. I'm taking this as a reason for all the little snowy crystals and the enlargement of the buds. Flushing: For about a week before harvest I will empty the water+Nutes and refill only with Water. We want the plant to suck up and replace all the nutes in the buds with water. This is called flushing. Trimming plans and Tools: When it's time to trim the plant, I've got a plan in mind. I'm going to trim the buds while they're still wet, and I'll leave them attached to the stems. To simplify the drying process, I will split the LEAF into two parts – the top and the bottom. Since space is a bit tight in the LEAF with this grow, I will keep just the buds on the branches. This will help the air circulate the buds better. I've even found this cool trimming tray on Amazon that I'm planning to use. I've realized that having the right tools for trimming is essential. Just like I'd put on gloves to work on a car, I will use nitrile gloves to keep things clean while trimming. And I'll use proper trimming scissors instead of regular ones. These scissors are designed for this job and should make the process much smoother. Amazon - Trimming Tray - (somewherr brand pictured above) Amazon - Nitrile Gloves Amazon - Trimming Scissors Drying Plans and Tools: Once I'm done trimming, it's time to dry the buds. I'm thinking of using simple tension rods, like those small shower curtain rods, to hang the branches. This way, I can create two levels inside the drying box. The lower part can rest on a SCROG net to ensure good airflow and even drying for all the branches. The LEAF box will handle the drying parameters. The environment inside the LEAF box will focus only on keeping the humidity at 60% and moving the air around getting the buds to a non-mildew amount of humidity. Amazon - Tension rods 16-28” Curing Plans and Tools After the buds are dry (60% humidity), the next step is curing. This means I'll be storing the buds in sealed glass jars. I've got mason jars and hygrometers to monitor humidity levels. Once the jars are filled with buds, I'll seal them and put them in an cool, dark spot. I plan to open the jars briefly every day to let in some fresh air. (15min). I'll know the curing is done when the humidity inside the jars stays around 62% during these "burps." That's when my perfectly cured buds will be ready to enjoy! Amazon - Hygrometer 12 Pack Target - 32oz Ball Mason Jars 12 Pack I use a smell-proof duffle bag. She went from about 900 at the beginning of the week to about 330. Now she's back up to 500ppms. We change the water in one more day. 8/24/23 - Day 72 - It's official: I have moved the smell slider up! Holy shit, does it smell potent. I put my arm in there through the Weed forest, and when my arms came out, I was attacked by the Skunk BOSS. I had to shower and change my outfit to eliminate the smell. WEEK 16 - (06/13/2021 - 06/19/2021) Week 8, Day 50 - FLOWER: 06/13/2021 After inspecting the trichome development for the last 7-10 days or so, I’ve decided that today would be the ideal time to begin flushing. The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too. Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉ + pH Up: 7ml Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 895/800, 6.1 pH AP#1 - 529/434, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 365/270, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 624/529, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021 Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there. I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. If I start seeing more amber trichome development, I will cut her down. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 54 - FLOWER: 06/17/2021 Recycled water (8 gallons): 69ppm, 5.8 pH, 70℉ + HydroGuard: 8ml + pH Up: 3ml Mixture: 82ppm, 6.0 pH, 70℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 688/606, 6.5 pH GC#1 - 602/520, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 633/551, 6.9 pH AP#1 - 685/603, 6.5 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [SUMMARY] I expect this to be my last full week of flower. All the girls are looking ripe for the chopping. The aroma that bursts out of the tent when I unzip it every time is heavenly. American Pie #1 is still about a week behind in maturity, but she will get cut down with the other plants regardless. Jelly Bananen started to turn a lime green color so she'll probably get chopped and hung up in the next few days when my second tent arrives (4x2 AC Infinity). That wraps up this week! Day 81 update - as you can see at microscope pictures the buds are near to be ready for the harvest. I will stop watering for the next 24 hours the 2 biggest plants to be harvested at the weekend on days 82-84. The other one i will wait a bit more to madurating proccess.

*****Week 17 growth – April 3 to 9, 2021 – Week 9 flower ****** Well, that’s two weeks flush and we have more to go. Started checking trichomes at the start of the week with few cloudy but lots clear. Pulled a couple of buds at the end of the week to look at but still need another week. Going on to week 10😂😂😂👍 The smells have stepped again this week. Trichomes are plentiful and it appears the UVA are doing their thing. The two fixtures are on for two hours per day, roughly in the middle. The fade on Pheno 1 is just freaking gorgeous @emeraldtriangleseeds and feel lucky to be watching and helping her through. Aromas of citrus 🍊🍊🍊 are just awesome. This strain is killing it this grow. Little more detail….. Apr 3/21, Day 57 - dry out day Apr 4/21, Day 58 - 3L plain water 5.8pH Apr 5/21, Day 59 - nothing today Apr 6/21, Day 60 - nothing again Apr 7/21, Day 61 - 4L plain water at 6.1pH - MM2 looking like she still wants another week for sure. Apr 8/21, Day 62 - dry out day Apr 9/21, Day 63 - 3L plain water at 6.0pH Through week 9 and going into 10 now. Breeder says 10 to 12 weeks so it’s not surprising that we are looking at 70 days likely. Pheno 1 had me thinking she would be done in 9 but trichomes are not there.

A ver, la planta va muy bien, crece muy bien, tragando agua sigue igual, al mismo ritmo, cada 2 o 2 dias y medio le hecho sus 3 litros, y a veces riego con 7 para que drene algo. Ahora bien, el amarillo... ¿Porque está tan amarilla!? -Puede ser por haber pecado de ir flojo con los nutrientes. Falta de potasio. -Puede ser por bloqueo por PH o por sales. -Puede ser un hongo. -O puede ser, y es aquí mi teoría jajajaja, que dado que esta planta ya la he cultivado dos veces mas antes, la primera vez, fue bastante mejor que la segunda y pude asegurar el lavado y llegar bien a sus últimas fases y tal (se cagó en el secado que duró 4 dias jajajaja pero bueno, de todo se aprende) y lo curioso, es que en ese primer cultivo, me amarilleo también muuy pronto, con las mismas manchas y de aquí mi teoria: este genotipo alarga el uso del nitrogeno hasta fases avanzadas de floracion y además empieza a tirar de reservas antes de lo habitual (lo cual explicaría que esta es una de esas plantas que en una semana ha madurado y no te das cuenta) y dado que en floracion el ph se baja, yo lo fui bajando conforme arrancó el stretching por lo que le fui limitando las reservas de nitrogeno antes de lo que ESTE GENOTIPO pide, y de ahí el amarillenteo de la mayoria de las hojas. Como tengo todavía varias semillas mas de esta, seguiré plantándola a ver hasta donde podemos llevarla y gracias a cosas como estas, ir aprendiendo por el proceso. PD: tengo ramas atadas o apoyadas a la pared por que se caen del peso xD

What a plant! 2 of the 7 harvested a few days in front of the rest but they are amazing, the way they grew the final few weeks was amazing, they look like there double in size, maybe more compared to the lemon cherry, not slagging the 🍋s off because they look stunning, and smell like heaven, anyway, I can’t wait to get these dried and cured, but not to rush them 🙄😂, will update each plant as they come with a final update at the end with a smoke review

Iv added bud candy to the nutrients mix.The main girl is late,actually all of them are but I guess it came down to learn my led,2nd grow is clearly showing experience pays.learning light height ph to nutrients and tempretures.All virgin territory to us but we are grateful for what we learnt.im guessing the main is another 2 weeks away has her pistols are at 25% and the other girls are just growing and filling out. 2nd week of flowering and the girls are doing well.

Today I have diced it is time to switch to 12/12 scheme. Net is almost covered and I am expecting some stretch during pre-flower phase. Watering volume is increasing day by day, thanks to my dehumidifier I can keep the VPD around 1.2. Temperature is a thing... probably need to cool down some in a few weeks. Thankfully I am already adding CO2 so that should do it. As you can see I have raised EC a bit. That was easier than bringing the PH down with PH-minus. Some little burned tips on the leaves but I do like the overall colour. So let's see how it goes. 15/06: Sorry... something more important came up than updating my report.... On Monday, I start working for a boss... it's been over 20 years, so it will take some getting used to... I also suddenly had to buy a car because I hate cycling. I usually dislike driving too, but as long as the car has enough power, I can live with it and stay dry. Regarding the ladies... the problem with the persistent lighting does indeed seem to be an internet issue, as it hasn't occurred again. Furthermore, the amens is just brutally large compared to the others and will soon overgrow the whole net. I don't mind... I always prefer the strongest. In the photo from 3 days ago, this is still fairly visible, but in the photos below, it's getting harder to see... Harvesting will also be fun... Keeping the stuff separate by type will be a challenge. Water values are currently nice and stable, though I did increase the CO2 slightly to an average of 1350ppm. I've also already hung my blooming lamps (not visible in the photo). These are again Chinese quantum boards, but 400W each. They will run 4 hours a day for the last 3 weeks. This way, the dehumidifier doesn't have to work as hard, and I keep the stuff around 30˚C. Actually quite satisfied.... the first signs of flowering seem visible, but not convincing enough to take pictures yet...

We are still weeks out before I switch these ladies to flower because all of my flower rooms are to full capacity. The clones from the mother moonwalked kush have all taken root. My black aeroponic cloner is a week ahead of my white EZcloner. Everything is going well so far. They started showing their first signs of deficiencies this week so I increased the feeding. Nothing else to report.
