🤗 Hi fellow growers. We are back here to harvest the Northern Lights Auto from Seedsman. She took 11 weeks to finish flower and a total of 15 weeks from seed to harvest. 🌱Growing her was a little tricky as she was finicky at the beginning of flower. She wasn't the fastest auto but she put on some tall colas with some fair amount of resin smelling of sour stone fruit such as a plum. Chopped her down then dryed for 14 days in a environment controlled room. Then began the trimming process. After a nice manicure the plum smelling buds were then placed in a jar to set cure for 30 days. There was quite a bit of larf nugs on the bottom skirts that I should have trimmed off during the flowering cycle but sometimes I like keeping them to press into some rosin before my nugs are cured. I find that pressing the flowers with in the first week of the curing process produces the best quality flower rosin In the end I'm left with a gram and a half of some beautiful Northern Lights flower rosin that tastes and smells like a sour plum and packs a big punch. About a 10% return so not the greatest yield but it sure is some high quality rosin. Keep it mind it was the larf flower and I press at 180°F to preserve as much flavor as I can. 18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. . All three Exotic Witch plants are mostly Indica types. A fantastic sweet pleasant intoxicating scent. The buds are already getting fat. EW # 1 - 87cm - lots of trichomes, slightly more sativa, quality EW # 2 - 96cm - fat buds, probably a big yielder EW # 4 - 71cm - smallest plant, lower yield

Big textwall incoming homies: Here Im doin some shit i knew from owning low to middle branded smd grow panels* how is that usually they come with both uv , ir, far red even newer quantum boards supplements itself with diverse chips extending their photosynthetic spectrum or making specific accesory bars / modules yet my purporse is rather focus on UV as this 15w bar (advertised as nominal 9 x 3w powered led) with UV-A 390-400nm spectrum – something that trigger some reaction to the plants with some other color son the flowering phase and trying to establish functional a ratio , as a bit of blue green and yellow have specific purposes instead of providing absurd quantities of red light , as there is some lateral cold bulbs in smaller but necessary ratios (as blue spectrum is still required on flowering , yet the original purpose was to complement mid to low branch development) in this shitty set up bonding with the upper bulbs and their colour temperature schema, every light has it's own schedule as how i suppose is a morning to night as something that cause plant resistance response (kinda noticed something i need to stimulate as i see a bit of fox-tailing but now with the uv-a i propose to build resistance and activate defense mechanisms like resin and of course, plant morphology according to its stage making bulkier , tankier , according to outdoor’s atmosphere i want to replicate as optimal weather as well – i hope this hardship make them more resilient and increase their health points as here i’s a HOT GIRL SUMMER- even indoors it rises my base temperature makes smell notorious, but as is not the usual weed smell make it and advantage in terms of discretion Killer Kush presents slight sweet tones not very prominent, the only herbal smell can be associated to pine undermining the refined coffee-like smell that is the dominant note (this selection of kush lack of lemon notes up to this point i can say it’s earthy with a bit of sour & sweetness) . Getting really bushy about 18 inches tall going in this week might be the last week of veg if they keep growing how they are. These girls are getting wide as hell. Will move one of them over to avoid over crowding in the middle next change out of nutrients. They're appetite is getting big

Good week. PPM issues last week were due to messing around with the watering schedule. I changed to a 3min fill and the extra water disturbed the clay pebbles, releasing sediment into the reservoir. I'm back to 1min fills. Buds are looking excellent. They're growing very close to the lamp but I don't have room to raise it anymore, I'm thinking I'll need to string them using the corners of the tent as anchors if they start burning. The dehumidifier was also set too high, so it's been a bit steamy in there for the last day. Reset it from 45% back down to 20% so it's running at full power day and night. When it's set at 45% the real RH raises to 80%, when it's set at 20% the RH sits at around 45%.

Almost time for, lights, camera, action ! She will get a decent defoliation to show those beautiful flowers and then she is ready to be documented, what an exciting and stressful grow for me, not because of the plants but because of the ridiculous temperatures we reached this summer 🌞

Day 71. Girls loved last week boost, pots are light in a day and maybe i will give to 7 of them Ph water today even. Toped Tangie will be watered 4sure, widest Tangie still heavy, i think its her last feeding anyway, maybe she will get last molasses and CalMag at the end of the week together with other girls. Defoliated plant loves her life , but will finish only in midle of february i quess... Moved toped plant inbetween two lamps, she became tallest plant and i had a feeling, that her tops overheat a bit, bigest early FastDiesel was moved to the corner. All is good and i think i will start to search for my loop very soon ;))) Day 74. Some girls started to gain weight, other still in full bloom. Girls looks healthy and happy, but my heart doesnt sing .. still think that 50 g is my best result from those plants, some will be closer to an ounce. The only hard mistake i made was leaving them unwatered for one extra day, but they bounce back after two hours, so it leaves me with idea, that time invested dosnt pay off. All 3 FastDiesels looks like twins, same structure, same flower. Really happy with those and maybe harvest and taste will push me to try out this strain in summer outdoors. Tangies are all very different, from 5 seeds - two are really nice fenos, very fat buds and compact structure, one is absolutly sativa dominant, everything very slim and long, one was upsidedown, so this one looks totaly third type . The earliest started to flower and most fastest in grow is forth type, her buds are aswell different from all others. Time will show ... Fingers crossed ;) Day 76. Girls are ok. Some started to yellow a lot, thinking to start flushing first early three girls. Victims in todays photos ;) Last feed tomorrow for most of them anyway.

Almost doubled her height this week since transplant! Lets see how she goes over the next few weeks.

And im in first flowering Week since last sunday, so far i really can't complain. Everything looks healthy and fine. Plant 3 is still kinda weaker/slower and Plant 4 seems to want to do some sativa things and grows up like hell but oh well, at least Plant 1 and 2 just grow as they should. This week i made the Bio Tabs compost tea for the first time and the plants seem to love it. Each one received 500ml if it. Can't wait to see the results at the end of the run. Again thanks to Bio Tabs for sending it out so i can test it. Humidity was pretty high because of constant rain this week, but it seems like i have made it through it, now just to make sure to finish this run before the summer heat will come. I removed a few leaves here and there because they were stacking or blocking light, i will defoliate in 1-2 weeks for real. Sadly Plant 4 needed an even higher stool then last weeks, so it's on the same height as the others. It was getting not enough light this deep down. That is also because why the scrog net does look like it does right now. I try to make it more "appealing" tonight, but i don't want to break anything and it works like it should right now, so yeah it looks stupid but it's alright.
