Day 10: The plants and the leafs grew a bit in size, they are still focusing on rooting. Added some veg nutrients today to the feeding schedule, because I saw some green spots, not to confuse with full green leafs, which is normal with new leafs and young plants or in later stage a (n)itrogen deficiency. No this indicates that they need just a little bit nutrients. Normaly this would not be the case with normal soil(it has nutrients in it for the first weeks), but again it can happen with cocos as a soil. The leafs on the pictures are like that because the lights are off + the humidifier makes the leafs wet which results in it getting heavy😝. Will update again this week, Enjoy for now 🙌

Day 39 - Did a little defoliating today, I’m hoping it won’t stunt too much. Last two grows, I just let it go but seemed pretty crowded so want more light deeper. Day 40 - It appears the defoliation has really stunted her so will keep an eye on her. She’s starting to smell a bit fruity and I’m loving it. Day 41 - No major changes today, still looks and smells amazing. Day 42 - Looks and smells good still!

Costa Mesa Haze is what I am renaming the "Vorneese haze" bag seed from my other grow diary. One of the best flowers Ive ever had in my life. Purchaed from HTC church in Costa Mesa, California in July of 2018. They arent a legit dispensary so they have zero clue who grew it or wtf is, or who grew it. I researched as much as possible and never found anything out. 12 Costa Mesa Haze 4 Blueberry Muffin Went a little OCD with this tent but figured after outgrowing the last one with randomly size plants I'd keep everything the same height as much as possible. Really focused on taking good cuttings of the same size knowing what I wanted this tent to look like. Only running the cree bulbs right now on the light letting them ease into things without stress. Will Veg for 4-5 weeks tops then 12/12.

REVIEW - Runtz (fem., photo.) from Zamnesia: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ The seeds from Zamnesia germinated rapidly, rooted strongly, went wild in veg, and produced an ample amount of high-quality medicinal flower. The diary speaks for itself on that front so this space will be more of a phenotype review. The plants were labelled A, B, and C from left to right respectively in photos. A and B were the 'clasicaly-appearing' sativa-esque leaves while C was the more 'indica-appearing' phenotype. Although A and B appear the same qualitatively, they did produce substantially different amounts of flower (despite their DLI being near max out for the entire tent footprint without supplementing CO2, so I do not think just being in the middle attributed to this). Past their different yields, A and B also have vastly different profiles. A is a classic gelato/ice cream cooler/Z terps, and my personal favorite of the plants (wish I had taken a clone of this one instead). B is the most on point for what I think of with Runtz, classic Z terps but with a slight tropical/rotten/sweetness to it. C had the misfortune of being ready to chop a little earlier than the other girls so her profile is mostly just spicey kush now. I did observe intersex flower sites but given the entire context of the diary and how the plants performed, I have to assume it was user error. No pollination observed in any of the flowers, as zero additional intersex sites occurred. The distinction between A, B and C is what I would expect from a typical F1 cannabis seed. I do not enjoy growing from seed much but these girls were manageable. Add to that the relative stability of the genetics for a Runtz recreation, and well, these are good quality beans for a great price. Not only is Zamnesia responsive and available, their confidence speaks volumes. How many vendors would have an in-house Runtz, knowing how much of a genetic-gravity-well it is in, and be confident enough to let ~200 randos grow it and show it? REVIEW - Green Sensation from Plagron: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ I enjoyed using the green sensation, the NPK values on it make it versatile in application and a power-house in flower. I can't say I noticed anything better or dramatically improved, although comparing to Heavy 16 and asking for a marked improvement is big ask in my opinion. What I was able to do was seamlessly integrate the Green Sensation into my current routine. The additive stayed homogenous, was easily introduced into solutions with no adverse impact to the water contents or pH. Most importantly, the plants enjoyed the additive and it did accomplish the main goal of being able to wane off your primary line. In this respect, by using Green Sensation I was able to save resources by lowering my Heavy 16 inputs across the board approximately 50% and supplementing with Plagron's Green Sensation.

Vaya color verde que se están marcando, se ven bien sanas, ya se aprecia. Las flores van formándose y produciendo pelitos. Esta vez regué con una aplicación de Sugar Royal, 0.8 ml x litro de agua, Alga Bloom 2 ml x litro y Power Bud 0.5 ml x litro, Green Sensation 0.5 x litro, por supuesto controlando siempre el Ph, que ahora mismo lo dejamos en 6. Tragan alrededor de 1 litro por planta cada 48 horas.(3 riegos semanales). La temperatura máxima está en 23.5 grados y la humedad está entorno al 55%. Welp. I honestly didn't expect this. As I have mentioned in previous posts, this plant was no longer on its own timeline, the next plant was going to decide. In addition to this, I had just done a heavy defol and put the leaves and 3 small nugs in my cannatrol. The cannatrol still had 2 days before finishing its dry, so this ended up being interrupted. In some unfortunate mishap, as shown in the pictures, my light was scheduled to turn off at 5am. The device said it did, but as you see in the graph, it stayed on until I had caught it at 12:24pm. I simply disconnected the usbc from the outlet, reconnected it, my light kicked on for a sec, then back off. I think messing with my dehumidifier lastnight glitched the system and I should've done a reset when I was done messing with it. With the stress already playing a chance at mutations, the additional light didnt help. No hurt feelings here. With the weight off the bud and the sugar leaves, my cannatrol is maxed. 2.2 lbs of wet weight is all it can take, and I am pushing that. 900 grams of wet, partially trimmed buds impressed me! Not sure the sugar leave weight. Setting cannatrol to dry for 5 days and cure for 25. I know it can go way quicker, but I read a study about these settings and want to see if it stands any truth. Smoke report and dry weight coming soon!

Boy with the temperatures being so good in my basement I had a tough few weeks with this girl . She still faired better then her friend gelato41 , I had ph issues and temps fluctuating , and the lack of time as my kids and wife have been sick with the flu for a week and I'm full time Midnight's ...dam never thought growing could be such a challenge sometimes both physically and mentally... With things back on track in my home life and growing world I can't wait to see how my first few weeks of flowering goes wish us luck canna family cheers ...
