We got roots, I had a brief PM scare but it ended up being just a salt buildup from spraying the clones with light GH nutrients.

The pistils on all plants are getting more and more brown, its time to check the trichomes now. I check with a handheld microscope and they are getting milky, but not yet amber, which means they are ALMOST READY TO HARVEST, but not yet. The amount of crystals produced under the Q6W-Gen.2 LED-lamps from SANlight is astounding, the plants are coated in trichomes! This week I stopped giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants, this is VERY IMPORTANT in order to get a smooth smoke of the dried end-product. The aroma of the plants is VERY STRONG NOW, they smell mouth-watering. The Shiva Skunk has a sweet, musky smell with a fresh citrus note to it, its a delight to smell those plants. The Serious Kush smells EXTREMELY fuely and gassy, like the OG-Kush, but with an amount of buds like the White Russian, its FLABBERGASTING. I cant wait to try those two strains...😎

Super Orange Haze: This beauty really seems to be doing quite well. The buds are starting to fatten up, and there's frost everywhere. Some orange pistils, but it's few and far inbetween at this point. I was increasingly aggressive with pruning this week chopping off flower producing stalks that looked like they weren't fattening up like the others in an attempt to get this thing down to 6-10 main colas. She seems to be handling it like a champ, and I think at this point I'm done with pruning until it comes time for harvest with the exception of the occasional fan leaf blocking a bud site. As a total newbie, I'm thinking we're about 3-4 weeks from harvest, and I can hardly wait! She smells like candy, and when I prune her scent gets all over my hands and I smell it for hours later. I hope she tastes 1/10th of how amazing she smells! Creme de la Chem: Well, let this be a lesson to everyone about the importance of early pruning and training. She's a plain old mess, and she's gotten into the lights. I've been bending stalks over which results in super cropping, and I've been tangling them all together sometimes on purpose, sometimes on accident. I'm just trying everything I can think of to keep her from roasting, but nothing is working. She's just doomed to be a complete and unmanageable mess. She's producing flowers, and appears to be about 2 weeks behind the Super Orange Haze. I'm hoping to just get 4 or 5 good colas that don't end up bleached and withered by the lights at this point. My next grow will be way more controlled! RDWC stuff: I swapped her water out last week, so still running with what I've got at the moment. I'm out of RO, so I've been adding hard tap water when they need a top off and then nutrients in the ratios listed until PPM is at around 1000-1100. I've been rotating in ice packs and trying a few other things like added insulation to the top of my grow sites in an effort to keep water temps under 70 at all times. I've experienced limited success in this as you can see by the temperature chart for underwater. The big dip you see early in the week is the reservoir change I did (last week's update was late, not on Sunday like normal).

Día 88 y penúltimo antes del corte. Ya se aplicó Flawless Finish para un acabado impecable como su nombre lo indica. Siempre prefiero hacer el lavado de raiz solo aplicando agua en las últimas 2 semanas, pero esta vez lo hice aplicando el finalizador y luego los últimos riegos con agua purificada. La verdad es que estoy contento con los resultados de esta nena, que es hermosa por cierto, desprende olores ácidos, cítricos, dulces. Los colores son hermosos y las flores están rebosantes de tricomas, lo que la vuelve muy vistosa. Es todo por ahora, estaré manteniendoles informados en estos últimos días. Buenos humos! 👽

Had a busy week looking after her this time. I topped her mid way though last week. It felt so wrong taking a pair if scissors to her after trying to take good care of her. Lol. It definitely slowed her growth down for a good few days after. Then at the weekend I re potted her in a larger pot. I think it's 20lt but not 100% sure. She went a little bit limp after re potting, but only for a day or so, and seems to have recovered nicely now. I'm still on an 18/6 light cycle and using formulex once a week. Though I intend to switch to using Ionic soil grow from tomorrow, so hoping to see the veg stage really come on this week. I added a video clip this week too. I'm thrilled to share another exciting update on my flourishing journey. We have now reached week 4 of the flowering phase, and I must say it has been an incredible period of growth and progress. The plants continue to stretch magnificently, and the onset of bud production has been truly remarkable. 🌿🌸🌱💪 As we progress through this crucial stage, I remain attentive to the well-being of my plants. They have developed a healthy thirst, consuming approximately 4 liters of water every 2 days. The pH level of the nutrient solution stands at a steady 6.11, ensuring optimal nutrient uptake. Furthermore, the TDS range between 1050 and 1150 provides the ideal nutrient balance. 💧⚖️📈 In light of the unfortunate hermaphroditism incident experienced by a fellow grower, I have been diligently checking my plants for any signs of similar issues. So far, I'm pleased to report that everything is progressing smoothly, and I haven't encountered any Bananas or seeds (it's hard to check the back sides). 🚫🍌🔍 That's it for this week! Alrighty growmies 👌🏻 so I’ve had a bit of a week set back due to issues, but back on track, the heat wave has definitely given a few girls a bit of a hard time not being able to attend but none the less, lifted the light again, trying to get on top of this PH fluctuating I’m having again using these stupid PH drops as my PH pen also keep jumping. Besides that I’ve managed to make a new home for the clones and got them under a couple UFO LEDs so that will house them for a few more weeks and al bring out the 600w HPS for them, but these runtz since being repotted have not taking nicely to it at all even using dynomyco so again hopefully by Friday they should be past that stage if not on flowering either way going to be a bomb scare when these taller plants start to stretch might have to bring out the net for sure 🤣🤙🏻 if all goes wrong at least I have my clones for back ups, keep eyes open for the incoming fire thou 🔥

Thank you for checking out week 3 of my Stracciatella DWC grow! Quite a bit of growth this week, despite me running into quite a few problems this week, we had a heat wave and I was not prepared, causing some heat stress. I topped the plant at the 5th node and added some LST anchors, I will be topping her a few more times whilst low stress training . I'm still going with the same strategy of adding organics during the weekend, but I'm still not sure about it, especially not with the heat, Power roots does discolour my roots and causes some black gunk to accumulate at the top, I don't like that. speaking of discolouring, Biobizz CalMag makes my water super cloudy, which I hope is normal. I'll be moving my tent to a better climate soon, I do believe the heat further stunted my plant, She's still doing well however and it should be smooth sailing going forward, Unless nature throws something else my way. 9/18: New week...fed with Boomerang and Kangaroots 9/19: Applied Axiom harpin proteins and boomboom spray 9/20: Fed full strength TPS One...decent growth. The smaller one is less droopy now. 9/21: Tucked a few leaves and took some photos and a video. Looking good. Just a couple more days of 24/0... 9/22: Switched out the 560w of 5000k CCT lighting for 720w of 3000k CCT lighting and set the timer for 12/12. Decided against 13/11 with emerson effect...trying to save a few bucks on electricity. I'm keeping the lights at 30" from the tops for a day or two. 9/23: The girls loved their first night of sleep...so perky!
