Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. Esta semana fue muy productiva hicimos poda apical y de bajos ,trasplantamos a una maceta de 3 litros, se recupero muy bien y sigue creciendo hermosa , esta semana la vamos a dejar descansar y darle cariño para que siga creciendo sana , las semanas siguientes ya la vamos a ir entrenando con cropping y amarres vamos a ir viendo!!!

I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

Week#6 FLO.

I did a 5 day flush and 5 days of 24 hour light before harvest. Dried for 16 days with 60% humidity

Start of Week 2 Flower. Looks like the fan is blocking some light on the far left and will replace it with a slim profile box fan. Also found a light leak coming from a vent and

Had to harvest because the mold was spreading. All top buds that were dense had mold inside. It was in the early stages. Lots of undeveloped and airy buds on the lower sites. I fell she could have gone big in the next 10 days. The umidity of the air was between 40 e 50 percent. 272 grams of wet buds hanging to dry. 95 grams of trim that went to the fridge. Overall it was nice and to grow it, although it delayed A LOT. 15 weeks and the buds weren't developed, this is not OK. I'll wait for it to dry and I'll update you guys. Update: After 7 days I had 55g of flowers. A lot of airy undeveloped buds, but the smell is incredible, the taste is great! I loved it. I'm growing it again! The effect is cerebral, but quite relaxing.

I had a problem with the water pump connection and i think it hasn't watered in two or three days, so a marks appeared at some leaves (calmag deficency i guess). Now that the problem is solved it won't be worse. The flowering is really nice, its starting to appear the darker color at buds

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week. It was a good week again for the 5 mainlines, I did some final LST to try and keep the mains level, and I also defoliated the lower leaves to improve the air flow. I am still feeding the same veg nutrients which is just amor si, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will start transitioning to flower nutrients tomorrow and I will gradually switch over to all over flower nutrients by the end of the week. The ladies are about 24" inches tall, but I do anticipate them growing some more before the stretch ends. I am pretty much done with LST at this point, I will just continue to defoliate as necessary and make sure they are enjoying their environment. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. We upgraded! Really thrilled with the new setup. Much better than those cardboard boxes. Pine tree kush was having issues due to the size of the makeshift setup so this tent was very much needed. No nutes as I just transplanted into new soil. I’ll give it a week before I decide if she’ll get one more round of fertilizer before we stop before harvesting.

Week 1 Flower We finally got the Surf Purp siblings into the flower tent Playboiis! 👍 Now they'll be growing at a faster rate throughout the transitional period, silicon has been increased a bit so they stay thick and strong, and also bendable if needed. Remo grow has been significantly reduced whilst remo bloom is now being added at the same strength as micro. A very small amount of Astro flower is being added too. Epsom Salts has been doubled along with Cal-Mag being upped very slightly. I always feed at 5.9pH when in the transitional period/stretch and then increase to 6pH once in full bloom. This is to slowly transition their pH to 6 as this is a better pH for the required nutrients throughout flower. Because they haven't yet had the usual maintenance flush after being delayed in veg, I gave them one on Day 6 Flower. They were topped up with a nutrient feeding straight after to ensure they don't go hungry! I checked the ppm and pH of the tun off for each of them before flushing mote water through them. This is to check if they're roots are happy and healthy with a good pH and feeding well, without leaving a high ppm in the run off. The strings that they're under were already there from the previois girls, but was sterilized before putting the Surf Purps in. These were enough to move all the branches required to open them up and spread them out evenly. Because I'm only flowering under one light, the two outer plants (1&3) won't be getting the same intensity as the other two, so they'll more than likely produce smaller, less dense flowers (if they're female). It's just something that'll need to be considered when picking a keeper as they could produce the same, or bigger flowers if given the same intensity as the other two. I placed the two tallest plants at the back as they look like they'll stretch the most out of the bunch, so it makes the two smaller plants at the front easier to see and tent to the canopy. They were all given a good defoliation on Day 7 to slow their stretch, now that their growing at a much faster rate. We'll soon see their pre flowers to determine what sex they all are! Buds keep growing bigger and compact, I haven't changed anything regarding the nutrients and kept it to every 3rd watering cycle. Not doing much, just keeping an eye on humidity levels but other than that I don't want to stress them at all so no leaves plucking for 2 weeks.
