Flowering day: 46 Looks perfect

Into week 8 - I think I've managed to time these well... yes, they've had 40C+ temps - but only in the really final weeks and I bunched them towards the wall so they got more shade and less of the infernal sunshine. Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing... the heat is good but it sends them crazy and stunts their growth really badly. Feed schedule is mostly the same except in the last 10 days I've skipped the feed on 2 nights because I wanted to make sure they've extracted all they can from the soil/water/nutrients. It's also a bit of an experiment to see if it pushed the calyxes to swell a (little) bit more? I've got some photos running alongside these and I might make a diary for them as well. The very last plant in the video above is the Sweet Seeds "Gorilla Girl XL" - amazing colours that the camera can't pick up properly. My pick of the bunch aesthetically, she exploded beautifully. The very first plant is the Barney's "Gorilla Glue" auto - this and one of the "Sweet Mimosa XL's" seem to be a week slower than the others. Still a lot more furry than finished :)

Nice start to the week, enjoying the growth on these so far. The Carl #2 seems to be a triploid mutant, should be fun to grow. Been experimenting with time lapses over the last little while and think I may finally have it down at this point. /Updates as they happen/ -Carl is more than a triploid, both seeds have four-leaf node sets -Had to support UKBS 2 with some garden ties as it got too leggy and started falling over -Watered with plain water, the seedlings are suffering under the low humidity but growth remains steady

13/06/25 - Gorilla cookies all sprouted. Little did I know the headache I would have from now on stunting plants and going down the rabbithole of trying to fix everything at the same time instead of taking a step back checking my carbon filter wasnt blocked until 07/08/25 😭

GENERAL COMMENT. This week ran nicely for the two girls, of course one is going slower than the other. RQS STRESS KILLER AUTO. Super happy with the results so far, she grew nice size buds, in the surrounding and a big fat main cola, just beautiful. As we are entering the last week, of last tree days, I choose to lollipop and take do a pre harvest defoliation, the reasons for that is mould and rot, I started to become insecure because she didn’t have airflow and as i was flushing humidity started to raise, all good, and now just approaching harvest! Flushing with flawless finish and tap water.

So I went to the Oregon Growers Cup. I was really looking for some new and special genetics. There was this one booth with this dude that I got to talking to and they had branches of these live plants and they were absolutely stunning. I started talking and was showing him some of my best nugs and trading with him. I made a joke even though I was dead serious, asking if I could take one of the branches and try to reveg it to be able to grow the genetic. He laughed and gave me his number to get some actually cuts from him(score!) But anyways this is that branch, I cut the stem like you would with clones and am attempting to monster crop/ root this live Branch of award winning genetics. I'm not positive on what the cut is. I think it might be real lemon cherry gelato, or it's gelato 41 or maybe it's a cross? They had so much freaking fire!

She is officially 3 weeks old yay ! And female double yay! And I believe she is growing strong. Started showing what I believe are pre flowers ... ? No smell yet and is she small for her age ?? Not sure since it is an Autoflower. Increased Nutes and added a little bloodworm meal to top soil . Grow baby grow , super excited 😁

The plant has the classic structure, low and wide, both have the same characteristics only the vase changes the sample #A and larger, but it seems that this does not bother you at #B! it grows smoothly. I defoliated to allow more air and light ... they are at the beginning of the 5 week and they seem excellent!☺️

This beautiful lady is getting huge and those nuggets are so dense they are so Frosty she is going to provide some wonderful rosin yeah yeah she's almost ready maybe two more weeks

She grew 9cm this week. Doing her thing, no input from me other than watering/nutrients.

My o my, what can I say... These ladies are gorgeous! Along with adding in the 2000W along side my 600W, I cut out the grow solution in my nutes contrary to the instructions and my ladies are booming! We'll see how the rest of the week continues! I started a majority bloom with some added glucose for my feed to help with bud weight but they are really packing on. Hopefully next week will be my last week of feeding as trichrome production increases and I can start my 2 week flush!

The plants still seem to be doing ok. I notice that the pistil hairs are starting to turn brown. I'm getting closer to the harvest stage which Is exciting. If anyone can give me advice I surely would appreciate it.

Hello fellow growers, I am pleased to start this new journey with you. I am also particularly excited since I am going to grow a Mephisto Genetics strain for the very first time, the famous Double Grape. I know you shouldn't believe the hype, as Public Enemy used to say, but it's hard to ignore the dithyrambic reviews when it comes to Mephisto. I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and it was popping out 3 days later. Right now the seedling is under my Mars Hydro TS1000, brightness set at 25%, lights are 80cm away. During my last grows I set it up to the max at all stages of growth, this time I decided to proceed differently and increase gradually. Please let me know in the comments if you think I should just push it to the max right away. I would like to thank HESI nutrients team for sending me a great Starter Pack! I am late this week because on the girls' 8 week birthday, they both started looking HORRIBLE, and I was scrambling for a couple days. Looking back, documenting those moments is probably more helpful than just showing pictures of everything going smoothly. I think it might have been a Zinc deficiency, but it all boiled down to poor nutrient, pH, and watering practices. This is my first grow, so the more I learn the better! New leaves were forming brown tips, growth was stunted overall, and the veins on the leaves were becoming very prominent and white. After a day or so, the tips and edges of leaves started to curl up or "taco". So I flushed the plants for the first time. One recovered really well in 24 hours while the other improved a bit, but was still looking sad. I ended up flushing her a second time the next day. Soil for both plants is still pretty damp but should be flushed well, and once it completely dries out, I can amend my feeding practices and give them another ~week before flowering. I'm going to cut the nutrient amounts in 1/2, only feed nutrients with every other watering, and also give the plants more water to allow the proper amount of run-off. I guess this is very important in preventing a build up of nutrients in the soil. Hey, you live and you learn! Also started trying some super cropping because I want to try it all, haha.
