At the original Afghan kush the first multi-fingered leaf grew, I would really like to experiment and top one of these plants, but I wait for the guinea pig to make at least one more row of leaves, the guinea pig will probably be a plant from number 1 to number 8, in fact I ask you all, in your opinion which plant is better to top? Number 9 I exclude because I see her as frail. Update day 3 i thinking the training i can do when i smoke my pipe and see the plant, low stress training and topping, topping or lst? Set up an evaporative cooler to act as an intake and to cool the temp through evaporation. It I was able to get the average temperature down to an average of 77°. Relative Humidity increased to an average of 55%. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Evaporative Cooler: The evaporative cooler was way bigger than I thought and blowing all the air into the tent would be overkill and would throw off my ventilation given that I only have a 4inch exhaust fan blowing air out. So I had to rig an air duct onto the front to channel some, but not all, of the air coming from the evaporative cooler. I cut a hole in a plastic brownie box and zip tied right angle plate that I had leftover from an ikea furniture. Then I put velcro tape to easily attach and remove the air duct from the cooler for future maintentance and cleaning. I left the room where my tent is closed one day and the humidity went up to 84% which also increased the temperature to 90° but I found that simply leaving the room door open gives the cooler enough air circulation in order to function properly and averaged out at 55% RH and 77° F. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Defoliated some ugly fan leaves that were shading a lot of lower buds.

The girls are stretching nicely and looking healthy as can be. I added the second trellis for extra support when the buds will be ripening in late flower. There’s already some early ice, on the fan leaves too, so that’s a good start! Some pheno’s seem a little quicker with creating flowers, but since these are f1 seeds it’s not so crazy that there’s some difference. It looks like I’ve got either 3 or 4 quite different pheno’s, which is exiting. I’ll do a big defolation on day 21 of 12/12 so you’ll see that in the next weekly update 👌🏻

I topped and trained them two more times. I also lolipopped them, that is cut the bottom 2 sets of leaves and branches.

I will give her more time ,as much as she needs. Very nice grow so far.

Day 35 flowering: Hi all , I hope we are all healthy , sane , and loved in our worlds. It has been another productive week for the two ladies sat basking in the Viparspectra sunshine. The temps in the UK have been low the last few weeks so they can settle into a less hostile heat zone. They are continuing to use those reds and infrared to their advantage with building some.nice long colas among both plants. The lights penetration is really good so they are having no issues with lower bud growth at all so far. The Northern lights has really begun to cola stack now with approx 8 mains that ade swelling by the day. She looks like she could be a very nice yield based on those alone. Fingers crossed she keeps swelling. Her buds and pistils are crystal white at the moment with no signs of ageing so she is in her freshest state of flowering right now . This is a good sign of a longer possible flowering period than the 8 weeks usual. The Grandaddys mimosa is more advanced on her ripening with quite a few orange pistils ( dying off) being replaced by fresh ,white , vibrant ones ( new pollen catchers). She has a good covering of orange hairs already for her flowering stage and could be a very early 7 week harvest possibly. She is nowhere near as big as the Northern lights and is being elevated to keep her in the canopy but she has approx 10 mains that are looking shaggy and with a high leaf ratio too. She is starting to have a nice fruity tang to her smell now when watered or handled. She could ⁹ me by swelling up huge in the next couple of weeks but I wont be too worried if not. The light is performing really well and has done Viparspectra justice too. I am genuinely shocked at how capable it is for its size. The other strains are doing very well too with the Gorilla cookies looking very bud productive and big. They got an amazing start into flowering from the xs1500 and I wish they were under the new offering from their range but I am hoping to twist their arms into letting me try a couple of xs 4000's from showing how well we can use this light. Lol we can but hope..... Be safe well growmies

Taken the scrog netting down so I can move my girls around at this late stage in in week 6 flower tomorrow will be the start of week 7 and I'll be putting all these girls in flush so wen there getting copped the will be 8 and a half weeks so next week she's been flushed happy days

Perfect conditions this week led to some great bud development. The larger of the two I left alone but the other I cleaned up the bottom.

10/19/24 started

1/23 - Beginning of week 11 for Crystal Candy. Will start to give plain water only starting tomorrow 1/25 - Still week 10 for the Fog Dog but the leaves have started to get a nice little fade to them. Buds are getting plump and dense. I have a few weeks left before I chop so there’s plenty more time to fatten up 1/27 - Week 11 for Fog Dog finally began and the buds on both are looking nice and frosty and smelling up the tent 1/30 - Noticed some spider mites on the fog dog a few days ago. I trimmed the top of the infested buds and cleaned the mites and webs off several times a day and raised the humidity back up. They seem to be gone for now so I will probably finish out this grow with a slightly higher humidity than normal. I have heavy airflow so it shouldn’t be an issue.

Just another photo dump lol This girl is proving to be a slow finish for me. Going on to week 16 now and I’ve decided to give her the flush as her trichs are all starting to go amber. I felt I’ve traded enough potency for yield now and I don’t think she’s really racking on much more weight. This might be the last update until after harvest. Up until it’s time to trim and jar. Wish me luck folks. I’m thinking I’ll be close to a half pound of this fatty 😍😂

My baby is turning into a lady. She really loved getting a larger pot. As I plan to veg her for about 8-9 weeks more, I imagine she will eventually end up in a 30L pot. Not much more to say, she seems to enjoy life in the green house so far.

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)
