Our Northern Lights is flourishing beyond expectations. The buds are incredibly dense and continue to swell daily. This remarkable growth is a testament to the resilience and genetic quality of the plant.The trichomes are predominantly cloudy now, with a few beginning to turn amber. This is a crucial indicator of maturity and potency, suggesting that harvest time is approaching. The tent's aroma is becoming increasingly potent, a sign of the buds' maturing profile. I'm keeping the tent closed more often now to manage the strong smell. This intense aroma is a clear indicator of the quality and health of our plant. Looking back at the initial issues we faced, it's incredible to see how beautifully our Northern Lights has turned out. Her resilience and our adaptive approach have led to this stunning result. The EC level is now stable at 1.3, and she seems to be responding well to it. Over the next two weeks, I plan to gradually decrease the nutrient levels and then start the flushing process. Bonus material- my cannabutter pics. No smoke report for a while but I can give you an edibles report in a few hours 😂 Plant #1 suffered gravely and thus was harvested early, dried, and turned into beaaautiful butter/edibles hehe. The rest of it is box drying and I'll be doing the same with that. The top of the plant (first harvest of sorts, after bud rot discovered) was 49g dry, not inc ofc what was binned. I'll let you know the dry weight of the rest but no point giving you a smoke report. She was cut early and suffered a looooot The purple lemonade began as the underdog and quickly took over as my #1 babe. It was far more resilient to environmental conditions and changes- and let's not forget that they went through a hurricane with me and power out for a few days! I don't find her strong on the nose at all despite how big some of her buds are, and how frosty. Very piney, and that dominates everything else. Very excited to see what terps come out more in the cure though- I hear great things about this strain. She was cut today and is hanging in a dark closet with small fan, RH 65% and temp 22c. I did not take a wet weight, but she's heavy. Super looking forward to smoking this one, after a few more weeks of TLC... Sigh. Always we try to wait haha. I will report back when I have more for you all. Thanks to everyone that answered my questions and supported me through my first grow. I've definitely got the bug now and there'll be no stopping me haha Will be back with smoke report and dry weights laterrr 🇨🇦 --- Nov 12 - Plant dried for 6 days. It is a lot airier than I thought it was going to be, so most of it ended up as shake for edibles or something. I ended up with 38g of big bud, 33 of smaller, and over 40g of larf and shake. Even the big buds are airy though, not dense at all. A little disappointing for sure, but I made a lot of mistakes so it isn't a surprise. It is now in jars with humidity packs and I'll report back in a couple of weeks or so with a smoke report :)

The Trop Cherry was harvested on day 56 and dried in the tent at around 16-20°C with a humidity level of 60%. After a week, she was ready to be trimmed and then spent another two days drying in a cardboard box. Now the buds are in their container for curing. Updates to follow Dry Weight - 40 Grams

The pistils on all plants are getting more and more brown, its time to check the trichomes now. I check with a handheld microscope and they are getting milky, but not yet amber, which means they are ALMOST READY TO HARVEST, but not yet. The amount of crystals produced under the Q6W-Gen.2 LED-lamps from SANlight is astounding, the plants are coated in trichomes! This week I stopped giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants, this is VERY IMPORTANT in order to get a smooth smoke of the dried end-product. The aroma of the plants is VERY STRONG NOW, they smell mouth-watering. The Shiva Skunk has a sweet, musky smell with a fresh citrus note to it, its a delight to smell those plants. The Serious Kush smells EXTREMELY fuely and gassy, like the OG-Kush, but with an amount of buds like the White Russian, its FLABBERGASTING. I cant wait to try those two strains...😎

This week we top dressed with the first feedings of the grow.. So i had to take all my plants inside because i found bud rot on 2 of them & the weather wasn’t going to get any better, had to transform my bedroom into a grow room😂 & i have 2 more plants which i am going to finish next to a window.. The smaller plant to the right is a Northern light by zamnesiaseeds that has a seperate diary if you are interested! I really hope the bud rot doesn’t spread anymore & if anyone has any tips or tricks for that they are always welcome!

Started off with some training 😍 Shes responding very very well! Was about to top her but I changed my mind so ill see how big she will grow Hoping for a bushy plant 😍

Day 1. The cuttings after being rooted in the special tray were transplanted into small jars and allowed to acclimatize in the appropriate boxes. After a few days we transplanted them into 18 L pots filled with plagron growmix, a prefertilized substrate, and then they were placed inside our cultivation box, the one in the photos. Being a prefertilized substrate we watered with only water with a pH of 6.5 until the water ran out into the saucers. As the 18 L pots are very large, no more water was needed for the first 5 days. DAY4. The plants were topped.

This is just for the gorilla zkittlez so far I will probably try to put all 5 on here but started 2 about 45 days apart from each other and the 5th seed about 3 weeks after the 2nd round. The 5th seed died from transplant shock (won’t be transplanting autos anymore) but the 2nd round of 2 plants just started flowering. I got 85 grams from the zkittlez and 60 grams from the afghan kush after drying. Not great but I’m happy it’s smokeable and smells/ tastes good. starting 2 bloody skunk today (5/11) because the gorilla cookies never germinated unfortunately :( . all out of seeds now so i will be maknig an order this week. still have 2 more strains to figure out when flowering kicks in more tho so that will be my fun for the next 1-2 months lol

1/12: impatiently waiting for lemon auto to finish up. Still not sure what the northern lights is trying to do, but..the little buds are slowly growing. S l o w l y... 1/14: things are getting out of hand in here. Northern lights is bushy AF again but the budlets appear to be increasing in size. Lemon is getting closer every day. Looks like I've got milky trichomes and the pistils are darkening. Still a bit early, but I'd be lying if I wasn't anxious for the space.. 1/15: I've accepted that I have at least a week ish left on Lemon auto,but she's getting there! I did some rather risky defoliation on northern lights and holy shit, she's got potential. I'm hoping she's just a slow grower and those buds will really fatten up! Perhaps lemon is just a really fast growing plant? I've also decided that since space is limited, my best bet is to probably rotate the plants every other day to allow all bid sites an opportunity for direct light. I'm reigning myself in. Once lemon auto is harvested I need to NOT immediately plant another. I've got some mephosito seeds I want to get going, but I've learned my lesson. This tent fits two 5 gallon mature plants... Uncomfortably. Three is too many 😂 1/17: wondering if northern lights has is it her to fatten up. Gave her a good flush &feed. Popcorn buds or not, I'm invested (#forscience). Lemon auto is still finishing up. Can't get good enough pics with phone to see trichomes. Clearly, I have a minimum of a week left, but I got a digital microscope so I can keep track! Should be here for next update.

The start of the week is going well.Did some defoliation. Added a scrog net. I removed the scrog the next day, might use it if the buds need support. There’s no way to add the rabbit poo to the nutrients accurately all I did was top dress the soil with a few scoops and worked it in the soil lightly. Water with distilled water.

Day 29-23/08/22 so I got back yesterday after being away for 3 days!!! I watered them straight away as they were starving!!! So far so good they have gotten so big since last time I checked on them before going away!!!

25.08.2024 day 14 of flowering. finally got somme sun after 6 day of rain, the camper berry look fine. showing nice grow and nice flower build up. the blackberry just look like shooting star in the night sky. fast berry have start to show dark coloration to, with the night temp getting colder as the summer slowly past by she should have a nice dress by end of september.

Day 21: A steady week finishing their stretch this week. They have staked their claim to their spaces well but the C Banana could find herself hidden by the Monster and her other friend Fruity Gorilla Sorbet. She is slap bang in the middle and they are both very bushy neighbours. She has some great growth broke through the canopy and will be easy to manage Monster Zkittelz has got very dominant at the back corner. She has spread out so well and will be a very good size once she hits harvest. Lots of growth going on below stairs and her stems look good to support some nice big colas. Be safe and sane Growmies.
