Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

This was just a temporary stage where I put the plants on a wilma to keep em watered n growing nicely while I built my table for them, not much went wrong this week.. the other little ens are in the little veg tent as well waiting to be potted up into there final home

SO UPDATE GANG!!!! The girls are looking great, So far so good! The grow setup is taking them to levels beyond what i could have done on my own But like i said before its a learning process so im fine tuning things and we getting there lets GOOOO!!!!!

The plant looks super healthy and strong, I've removed the main stem allowing the secondary branches to become the main ones now and also I've done this to void a high height for the plants, I want everything as low as possible, let's see how this lady keeps developing guys!

Perfect conditions this week led to some great bud development. The larger of the two I left alone but the other I cleaned up the bottom.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. You can see the nice healthy colour from the Seaweed foliar spray last week, Will keep that up bi weekly until first flower. Another 12 gal of water for each plant this week as there seems to be no end to this drought. Added blood and bone meal to keep the plant going well into the end of august. Started the week with a plastic dome to help with humidity, and after six days the dome was not needed anymore. The seedling outgrew the dome. I keep the watering very light during the seedling stage to make sure there isn’t any overwatering. I take my photos about 24 hours apart
