Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2 (Flowering Plants)- This week really threw me a curveball! I had a major equipment failure. On Wednesday (day 24 of flower) I went to check on the flower room about 3 hours after my lights should have turned on and noticed my S44 Ionboard was not powered on. I quickly began to asses the situation and determined that my actual driver on the light fixture was broken and there was no power running to the light. The light was also my main power source for my controller 69 pro, so it went off as well and was unable to let me know the light was powered off via the app. When I noticed this I called a grow-bro of mine, and asked if I could borrow his Viparspectra Par 700 he had, he purchased the AC Infinity Evo 10 Ionframes and had that light sitting around! Shout out to @Mr. Wowie for the quick save. With his help, I was able to get a light back over my plants within 4 hours. Not ideal but better than it could have been! The next day I was able to purchase and install a used HLG 550 locally. This light is even meaner than my old ionboard! Boasting 480 watts of power from the MeanWell drivers, Samsung LM301H diodes, it was repaired and has an import heat sink, however it doesn't seem to get too hot. It's very similar to my old light and the plants seem to be doing fine, with no signs of herming or extreme stress. This week I noticed both Phenos flowers are really beginning to swell up. By the end of flower I'm sure these nugs will be almost soda can sized. The number 1 Pheno is still purple as can be and has clearly not ceased it's anthocyanin production. The number 2 Pheno caught my eye, or more my nose this week it's giving off an awesome terp profile. It has a bit fruitier of a smell than the #1, sort of like a good peach strain, super lemon haze or good strawberry Pheno. Where it's really in your face. The #1 Pheno is total candy, sweet. Huge diversity in these 2 phenos! Very cool to see. I installed a new Dehumidifier this week to keep up with the humid spring. I purchased an Air Plus 50 pint on sale on Amazon. This dehumidifier works very well and has been doing a wonderful job at managing humidity levels in the flower room. I gave the last feeding of build a flower and tm-7 this week and will be watering with only water and Fish Sh!t from this point unless the plants tell me otherwise. Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2 (Clones)- The clones did not have as interesting of a week, however they have began shooting more branches out and are developing the stereotypical thick Raspberry Ripple stalk, we've come to know and love these last 5 months. They seem to be on a good growth pace to run a perpetual cycle with. I feel they'll be pretty well ready for flower by the time I harvest the original plants. I still plan to keep a mother of each Pheno. Then begin my next Pheno hunt of Whiteberry by Paradise seeds. That pretty much wraps this week's entry up! Until next week, Happy Growing!- Starfish

HOLY SHIT! Smells so good right now. I have to wait until Sunday to harvest because I have to go do some stuff. This outdoor plant Has been incredible start to finish. I cannot wait to smoke it in 6 weeks. NUGS are dense, trichomes are large and she basically prunes herself. I’m very proud of this grow, and am excited again for next year. Smells like fruity pine, with a bit of that dank classic Kush. Im excited to see the yeild and more importantly, how much hash I can make.

Shes still hanging in there. Poor thing. I soooo regret not letting her veg longer. Shes green again!!! This is the best shes looked since transplanting. What a trooper she is! This is a very resilient plant

And the time to flip this Mama came and with it so did the defoliation one, she did fell amazing the canopy, i am supper, i mean supper happy with the way she is growing, how fast and vigorous, how green and full of leafs, i mean not now lol now she as almost no leafs since i took the most of them out lol but i believe they will be back is less than a week or so and that this lady will ask for a new Mass defoliation sooner than i think, lets see lol !!! I know that for many of you it will look like i killed and destroyed my plant , but trust me wen i say that she will love it and respond with her love back to me, shinning like never before <3 <3 <3 Started my Bud booster and also started hading P to my water mix, its time to supplement some extra love hehe not that the pellets could not do the job by them selfs , but in this faze i believe they appreciate the extra care and love !!! Pics are from day 19, which is the day I topped all the plants. Topped them for a second time a little early - should have waited a couple of days for the new growth. No real damage done though and a lesson learned. Topped to the 3rd node, stripping everything below, and topped each "stork" at the next node creating 4 main branches per plant. Seen a little cal deficiency, but increasing the feed concentration to 2.5ml p/l of each will nutrient type sort that out in the coming week. Will be transplanting to 5 gallon pots in the coming week, once the plants have bounced back from the heavy mainlining techniques they've just been through.

Another problem free week. This strain is impressive. She's grown unbelievabley quick and she's starting to give off a lovely aroma. The next few weeks is where she's going to fill out.. just maybe... I might get this harvested for Christmas 🤣👌🏼🙌🏼💯

Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 12 June 8-14 FLOWER 7 Sadly, my journey with Frostbanger is almost over. This grow started as an unnamed FBA2502 tester strain completely unknown regarding growth habits, size, flavor profile or smoke effect. I used LST on two plants: #1 because she was leaning over so I decided to pin her down immediately. I decided to LST Plant #3 when I saw her nodes were short and stems were tight. To quote Fastbuds “Growers must know that these difficult-to-grow plants will pose specific challenges in terms of environmental control and nutrition” , making them best suited for cultivators with some experience under their belt. I mention this because 2 plants #4 & #5 always looked lighter than their counterparts. Having overfed in the past grows, I did not want to repeat the same mistake, especially when the other plants were lush and green and did not look deficient. I thought it was genetics, but I found out that these two plants probably had nutrient lockout and would have benefitted from a good flush. Overall, I didn’t make mistakes with overfeeding or over trimming. I had to manually control the environment since the ventilation went out. I did pretty good at maintaining a functional environment. Plants #2 & #5 developed pretty reds in their upper buds and leaves probably because of the air conditioner. The A/C brought the night temperatures to 65-68. This week I am flushing with an anticipated harvest this weekend. I did the last plant pictures and videos and trichome shots on each plant. I did preliminary defoliation removing the remaining fan leaves. For most of the sugar leaves I trimmed off the ends leaving the base with all the frost. These are going into the trim bag to be washed into bubble hash. I plan on pressing #5 because she is the frostiest. 6/9 PH 6.46 PPM 239, temp 68 2 ltr each 6/10 PH 6.6, PPM 230, temp 68 2ltr each 6/12 PH 6.4, PPM 242, temp 68.5 2ltr Thank you for sharing this journey with me and as aways, thanks for visiting, for the likes and most of all growers’ love and support. Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Temps have been good and RH has been steady between 60-65%. I have good airflow all around and don’t worry too much about it the higher RH at this point in the grow. Transplanted the ladies from their starter pots to their 2 gallon pots. They did not seem to have any transplant shock. A few more weeks and we will go to their 4 gallon final pots.

Starting to drop the night time temps down a but but keeping the total change from day to night with in reason. The stretch is coming to an end and the bud sites are showing a lot of pistils. A lot of frost on the sugar leaves already. Things are looking good so far.

Start of week 3. Feeding a little more consistently. 1gal of the above every 3 days.
