The Runtz plant is moving along it does have a really weird growth pattern I almost wandering if I have a deformed seedling the roots are very healthy giant big white roots shorting out the bottom the pot but can’t seem to get the leaves to look healthy they are very sensitive to hum This week was very smooth sailing I topped all the plants this week.

I use Botanicare products for part system along with Agri triple 19 food crop fertilizer that I use on edible crops and fruit trees

End of week 3/Day 27: ive been flushing alot before giving nutrients to the plant and it seems to be working, plant health is slowly improving again! Started LST a few nights ago and my plant has lost its christmas tree shape :'D the canopy is more flat and more light is getting to all growth on the plant so im happy! I started giving some rhizotonic near the stem to help with the plant being stressed. it definitely helped make big roots too! So excited to try some buds! another month or so yet :) Day 28 - 20/10/19 LST is amazing! i have almost all the growth getting a decent amount of light! im going to enjoy shaping the plant over the next week or so! Day 31 - 23/10/19 Still doing a light LST, most of the canopy is getting enough light now and the main stem is still growing more nodes. After getting some advice from a grower with the same model of light as me i now know i can hang my light a lot closer to the plants. im going to get rope rachets hooked up in the next week so i can adjust hang height. I also got an indoor chilli starter kit and planted jalapeño, cayenne and habanero seeds in some nice small terra cotta pots :) and i posted a few pictures to show the setup :) just cant wait until the whole tent looks more like a garden hahah :) 12 hours later - Added a video to show progress Day 32: 24/10/19 woke up this morning and the quick one grew upwards out of the LST :) the top has developed and looks more like an industrial weed plant now which is really exciting! ive been following a water schedule and accidentally gave a few more hours of rest to the plants last night and they have stopped drooping more or less. Re-lst'd the plant so all growth is receiving light and measured the space between the plant and grow light. its about 60cm/24Inches away which will do fine. Quick one is 18cm with LST, if i measure the stem itself its about 21-22cm tall - about 9 inches. Other than that the chillis will take up to 2 weeks to germinate, ive been keeping the moisture up around them with a mix of Rhizotonic/Water (1ml/1L) and also sprayed some on the soil as ive found it actually helps seeds germinate quicker with more strength or life in them. Will update soon for week 5 and considering the smoke is so bad in my town you get an urge not to smoke it i am so excited to be near the finish line :) roll on medicine!

What can I say. She stinks so good and looks even better in the flesh. Taking heavy feeds and lots of water. She is putting on weight now and the bids appear to be joining up. Cant wait to try this.

Start of week 9 and the girls are just about done. Think I over watered the last two weeks. For some reason I feel like they don’t smell as dank as they did a few weeks ago. Maybe I’m just getting used to them my wife says it still reaks!! Gonna be chopping the girls down in a week days. The gas cream could of been chopped last week but I wanted the Saturn to finish

It has been another amazing week of the plants growing. I have been watching as the Fruity Freak leaves become progressively more fern-like, and ornamental as a result! Based on my Banizzle grows, I knew I needed to understand plant nutrients in a more meaningful way if I wanted these plants to thrive. So, I decided to get a soil test (see Ref. 1 below on how to perform a test) to understand what nutrients my plants needed. The report I received advised that I needed to add 200 lbs/acre of nitrogen, 150 lbs/acre of phosphorus, and 190 lbs/acre of potassium (see picture labeled Pic.1 (FYI you can't see these images unless you login to growdiaries)). I then researched what to do with my results (Ref. 2 helped), and I figured out that my nutrient needs of 200-150-190 fall close to a 2-1-2 ratio. I then looked at different types of organic fertilizers (see Ref. 3 and Ref. 4) and considered that I already had a 3-10-5 fertilizer (Vermibloom) on hand. I discovered Dr Earth’s Alfalfa Meal is 2-1-2 and includes beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizae (to promote healthy plant growth and disease resistance). However, I knew I would be low on nitrogen if I only used those two fertilizers. Therefore, I decided to buy some blood meal (12-0-0). I also liked that blood meal is more fast acting while the other two are more moderate. I hunted around for a solid fertilizer calculator and found an amazing tool from the University of Georgia Extension (Ref. 5). I entered all three fertilizers into the calculator, and it kicked out the exact amount of each fertilizer I needed to apply to 1 square foot (see Pic. 2). As I am using 10-gallon fabric pots (that can hold 1.5 cubic feet, but I put stone on the bottom and there’s space left at the top) I decided to use the one square foot application rate as I can always add more later, but I can’t take it away. Not only did I want to understand the nutrients I needed, but I also wanted to understand the structure of the soil (as it was not included in my test results). North Dakota State University has a nice page that discusses this (Ref. 6), and I performed a soil ribbon test (see Video 1) based on this information. I determined my soil to be medium textured (which is great), but I have seen occasional water pooling on the surface, suggesting that it may be more of a medium-fine. This means adding peat moss, coco coir, or other amendments might improve drainage (and plant hydration) and allow for roots to grow more easily. In the long run, I plan to use compost to enhance the soil structure and nutrients. I filled the bottom of my 10-gallon fabric pots with a ½” of pea stone to allow for drainage (Pic. 3). I then partially filled two 5-gallon buckets with topsoil from near where I will plant (but not in an area the roots will reach). I used a digital scale to measure the amount of fertilizers recommended by the calculator (Pic. 4, 5, and 6) and added it to one of the 5-gallon buckets (see Pic. 7). I mixed the fertilizers into the soil as evenly as possible (Pic. 8 and 9). I then poured a two-inch layer of non-fertilized soil, then peat moss, and then fertilized soil (in a roughly 2:1:1 ratio) and blended them together. I repeated this until the pot was full (getting additional soil as needed), and then I repeated the process for the other three pots. I set the filled fabric pots in my garage (Pic. 10) for two days to allow any upset bugs to flee into my garage instead of my house. I then moved the pots (wrapping them in a contractor garbage bag to prevent making a mess) into the room with the grow light. I placed a board on top of the fabric pots to insulate the plants (in their smaller pots) from the cold soil (Pic. 11). Once the soil in the fabric pots reaches room temperature, I will transplant. (Ref. 1) This video shows the method I used to take a soil sample. I didn’t have a field to test, so I took four samples from the area where I will eventually plant outdoors and blended them together. Eccoci qua con una ganja davvero ottima! Non ho dovuto provvedere a fare trimming, perché questa volta volevo provare a far seccare più lentamente la panta appesa intera, per avere un prodotto con un fumo più pulito e liscio durante la fumata, farò una pulizia dei fiori quando sarà mo secchi e vi saprò dire di più.. Per ora uno stupendo colore rosso violacea e un odore acido di cola e di frutti tropicali, invade tutta l area di coltivazione! Even with the heat she has given me quite a big yield and that's with lack of watering and also training badly so I could have got a better yield if I have had paid more attention to her so until next time ✌️ out my fellow Growmies

5.23 F60 5.27 F65 - Everything has been going well this week. The plants went through a feed cycle that should carry them through flower no problemo. Started with the AACT Tea, then a bokashi drench with Fish Shit from Fishheadfarms and plain water from here on out. They are drinking quite a bit. 1.5-2 gallons a plant every 3ish days. The terps in my tents smell out of this world. The ScrOG and 3x3 are like a candy store. Passion Berry has mango/guava citrus terps while Deadstar v2 has strawberry watermelon terps. The 4x5 is much more varied, but in general the sweet pink dominates with it's grape candy terps and the dread bread cuts through with it stanky gassy lemon while the prayer pupil smells like moth balls and a bit of GMO. Very lucky to get to experience this much variety. 5.29 F67

Hallo Zusammen, heute war BT 20 und somit war es Zeit für die entlaubung bzw. Lollipoppen. Ich hab im unteren Drittel so gut wie alles an Popcorn buds und Blättern entfernt damit die Luft besser zirkulieren kann. Oben habe ich mich ein wenig zurückgehalten aber doch einiges an neuen Trieben freigelegt. Ich werde das die Tage beobachten und evtl. noch einzelne Blätter entfernen. Heute wurden alle nochmal gegossen mit Hesi SuperVit (Aminosäure booster) und dem Greenhouse enhancer. Die SanLight läuft jetzt auf 80% (212Watt) bei einem Abstand von 30-40cm. Luftfeuchtigkeit liegt bei 50-55% und die Temperatur bei 24-25°C was einen VPd von 1.15 kPa ergibt, also optimal für das aktuelle Stadium. Ordered some predator mites to kill them I don't want to use spray during flower Realized I was overwatering, was traumatized from last nute burn First plant is looking like it's starting to turn light green- not happy about it. The buds are also very tiny on the first plant which is strange , vegged it way longer. Also waiting for the buds to hopefully connect and fatten up. Upped the nutrients to 840 ppm - hoping this will help fatten the buds up It says week 5 flower , but I do not consider the 1st week as flower as it is still in transition. I' Ordered 2nd vent fan- Temps and RH are very steady with minimal deviation Last soil grow for me, I have a clone in a hydro bucket dwc 2x4 tent and it grows substantially faster vs soil with no issues.
