Moving pass the transition a little more this week and slowly switching to bud development. The feeding has been holding up and I've decided to top dress and just let them ride out on what they have available in the medium.

Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

Week 10! First week of flower! I was eager and may have jumped the plan I had the other day of waiting another week but after some sound advice from a few people that inspired me to flip them to flower and watch them flourish!! Day 1..fed fox farm trio with some added aloe vera, very little..won't add anymore from here on out..I added some peroxide as well!! I opened the tent this evening and they were praying up to the mary Jane gods!! Just what their daddy wants to see!! Let's get this smoke to the heavens for the loved ones!! Aye!!! Thanks again to everyone who inspires me and has helped me along the way! Oh and I ordered a trellis net so it should be set up in the coming days!! I was going to enter the solo cup challenge with the mini Starbucks cup you see but I didn't realize time was ticking and i may end up throwing her away unfortunately as I dont have a tent to put her in with a light set at the right hours or whatever!! She wouldn't survive on 12 12 or would she? Day 2 of flower - I opened the tent this morning and the girls are reaching for the sky even more! I forgot to mention I made some fresh Aloe Vera tea/juice for the last feeding I did before flipping to flower..next run I'm going to try not using aloe vera on one of my plants to see the differences..I feel the aloe vera has helped my girls alot but I'm not too sure!! Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Topped this girl this week, she’s growing pretty good. Very nice looking plant to my eye.

Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.

Mohawk Meds: Banana Flambe (BF): Day 21. 4 BF plants green and growing. Cut off a piece of leaf for gender testing. Should hear within 10 days results. Roots have reached bottom and looking healthy. I've been bottom watering them 6.0ph mineral water to get those roots to stretch along with a spritzx2. Environment: 76F, 55%RH, 650ppm CO2, 510-620ppfd all week. Increasing the lighting really helped them grow. Giving them another week in the cups before up potting to 1 Gal.

It's flush week in the main room for the girls I have kept back one gold glue the monster mbap and gwk they will be given longer as a bit behind This has been a smooth run can't wait to move the wilmas in to there new home more space efficient and feeding friendly The gold glue I will definatly run again and again lol one of my new favs This grape walker kush was neglected Unfortunatly but still turned out super frosty and stankkkkkkky the ones one my next run will have all my care and love Mbap great bud formation and size this is another strain to put in the vault to save for years to come ! Such a Wonderfull 17.7. 🙌 This week was a bit harder.. We Just solved problem with "mushrooms" on leafs.. And we were 1,5 Day without energy... 😶 But ladys are great and strong! We have done as well Scrog with Tangie's. Maybe a bit later, but it so 🤷‍♂️ have a fun by our growing
