Smells are getting prettt strong tbh, PKB is very grapey and gassy, washing machine is pure black licorice, BCS doesn’t have much nose and blue dream is creamy blueberry pastry. Spotted some stamen on the top of the blue dream, I’ll see how she finishes out. I love the smell and bud size and next round is being topped properly instead of just supercropping.

This whole grow cycle I never added anything to the soil. I tried my first living soil set up with worms and cover crops. I didn't do anything but water from begining to end which is actually pretty crazy now that I think about it. Around day 3 of drying. The conditions are favorable. We have to open our windows at night to cool the house down so it's really been up to nature as to what the humidity and temperature will be. Right at this moment rh is it's in the 70s because of morning dew. But I'm also curious about how the "new" way to dry with cannatrol etc is based on dew point rather than straight 60 60. I've never achieved straight 60 60 but I've had 67 60 and 80 60 but the main thing is to keep the rh around 60% I'm curious to see how this turns out. She lived in nature and now she dries by nature.

Really healthy. I've mixed it up with ripen a bit. I know its only for the last few days, but I'm trying something out, it suits my growing style, I know what it does. So I've lowered the PPM to 480 on this water change, I've cut the bloom down to 1/3 .33 and I've matched ripen ml/ml .33 and to keep some N in the mix I added half of the bloom boosters. So mixing them like this works out a really good NPK ratio. I reckon 2-5-5. I've changed the water, haven't added any H2o2 yet, as it's not needed and it'll only attack my roots, it's been a learning experience with h2o2 but I think I'm getting close to getting a better grips of how bacteria works. I adjust the PH 2-3 times a day, I won't need to today as I've only changed the water so should get 40hrs or so out of it. I'll have to add H2o2 tomorrow. Water temps will jump up to 26c before lights go out tonight. So I should be fine till tomorrow. I haven't had to do much but just keep a eye on the water, watch for slime, I know the smell of rot and root water now, both a foul but rot water is unmistakable. My roots are very weak, I'm afraid to add silica at this point because of what hit my other DWC I do not know. All I know it had silica in the water. So, I've pult back off it and the h2o2 has taken a beaten on my roots. But I'm learning and the degradation is a lot less, and to be able to grow a healthy plant at 27c water is just amazing I think. And I know no hydroguard wouldn't keep the rot away at that temps. The roots are black now just because of the PH + adjuster has turned them that way but they are healthy and so is the plant. She has her old wounds of course and I could get rid of all them leafs to show a 100% healthy looking plant but if I were to do that, I'd have to remove 20% of the leafs and the top is already very thin on leaf growth. Just going to keep a close eye on her and try get her over the next 20days. The buds are getting so heavy branches are having real trouble keeping themselves up. I've had to keep tucking them behind stronger nodes. The buds aren't big and have long colas like my soil mainline but these buds are smaller but still big stand alone buds that are rock hard and have very little trim. She's extremely frosty. I had a little taste of her, she was sadly very disappointing. DWC definitely needs to be cleaned. All I could taste was nutrients. Very hard to get a taste of the weed, that I know is there, I got super high of it, but was super harsh, I know chemical cough when I smoke it. This was a week. The drama at the beginning was one of the fans falling down onto my gorilla cookies. It snapped a branch off really bad but the girl hung onto it by threads. I duct taped her up and somehow took. 😎😢 I defoliated and did a little lst on a couple of the girls. Nothing major. Also increased the light to 80% now. I think I'll stay there until late flower when I switch to 12/12. I also added blocks to a couple of the girls to make the canopy level. That put the light at 15" as recommended by Medic Grow. This girl is interesting. The two middle colas are hard to separate and using some ties to push them apart. No smell coming from this girl as of now. I had to add a number of blocks to raise her up to level the canopy. I hope she'll improve. Both started to flower faster than I wanted. I would have preferred another week of veg. Blooming nutes were transitioned during this week. Mimosa is smaller then her counterpart, but is smelling stronger.

This was my first time growing outdoors, and this variety did well in Eastern Ontario region. I started seeds indoors and put the mainlined plants in the garden in early May. They were done flowering September 27th. The plants were beautiful and purple. The flavour is sweet and earthy. This is remains my favourite variety. One thing I learned from this outdoor grow is that I need to allow more space between plants. One of these Purple Kush plants was choked out and didn't grow as well as she could have. Next year I'll do a better job.

Last night! Week 10 - day 70

Well today is day 77 and after looking at trichomes there are still plenty cloudy but alot Amber so I've started a flush on friday plan on a 1 week flush so that would take it to day 81, if it still needs longer I'll do a 2 week flush but like I say after looking at trichomes there's alot Amber so she's obviously ready,.. there's purples coming in the buds now all leaves faded and dying off, hopefully these colours pop abit over the next few days.
