12/8 - Here we are at the beginning of week 10. Her buds are starting to frost up and she is definitely bulking up more than her sister, but her sister has a longer projected flowering time-frame (Heavy Sativa vs Indica). Anyways, did some minor pruning for airflow optimization and to remove some unhappy leaves from her undergrowth. They weren't yellow, but they weren't getting enough light and it was showing. Haven't done much to her this week other than top her off with Tap every other day. Seems like her feed from last week was on point as her pH and EC were solid as the water level lowered. After her first top-off, her EC started to fall as she ate more (reflected in the lower ec in the res after topping off with tap). Tapered her down to 80% strength as she is moving further along in flower and should hopefully finish sooner than her sister. If she needs a bump in her EC, I may top off with full strength nutes, but I'm going to just wait and see how she responds. Breeder's timeline reflects a ~65 day seed-to-harvest, but I can assure anyone out there growing this strain in DWC that she will not be ready in that time-frame. Currently she is sitting on day 67 and still looks like she has another 2 weeks or more. I grew her in soil before and she was ready pretty darn close to her expected time-frame (~70 days), but this strain responds to DWC differently. She didn't have slow growth or anything; just seems like she will veg longer in hydro than in soil. Not sure why. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

FBT011 Northern Lights From Fastbuds 2nd week of flowering 29th December 2019 Well she's shot up a bit since last weeks update and now sits at 54cm from soil to tip. No noticeable aroma as of yet but there is some resin as the buds feel slightly sticky when gently rubbed. I fed her some Mr B's Green trees Bloom mix and a 1/4 tspoon of Great white. *******As a side note the two cuttings I took have definately taken as they have both started to show their preflowers and have some tiny new growth. So I mmediately sprayed with my STS Reversing Spray ******* Cheers for looking in and I'll be back next week in 2020.

well, another week goes by and it's growing not like I expected hehehe but that's ok, living and learning, and for now I'll just wait for this cycle to end to start a new one and post it here and I'll tell you right away that I ordered a kit advanced nutrients starter and will test it on the new cycle. =D

This week does not have that much work... Just ensure that all the Temps and humidity remains consistent. Main factors... She sprouted perfectly..I can not complain about a thing!

She completed her flowering in 60 days, reaching about 10-15% Amber. She only received water in the last 2 weeks and has been dried out for the last 2-3 days. Her buds are quite big and sticky. The smell is kushy, not a fruity one at all. Let’s see how long it takes to dry. Keeping her in the dark at around 19-20 Celcius and around 60% Humidity.

Hello. This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of flowering. The first pictures are of the tent opening in the morning. And I put it back each night. That allows me to go into flowering when I want. One more week of veg to go, before I turn it over to flowering. And it will be around August 7th to August 15 when I'll harvest. The plants have filled out their space now. and most are growing over the edges of the table. I plan to get growing tips going up this week. with a big prune/trim about 3 days before I switch. I like to let the plants heal for 3 or 4 days before going into flowering. To get over the shock I caused by trimming them up. Then they can go into flowering easier and turn over faster if they don't have to heal first. The smell when I open the tent is like slightly metallic, a bit sour ish, like some good Afghani hashish smells. Each plant got an extra minute of nutrient solution in the morning this week with no leaking out the bottom this week. And they will get another minute in a couple of weeks. That will make 4 minutes a day of food, and I feel with my fingers, when they feel dry around the edges they get a gallon or 2 of rainwater. They look healthy. No signs of bugs or pest. When I was opening the tent a few days ago I saw a ladybug, just sitting under one of the lights, getting warm 😉 and helping. My friend Jerry, who you've seen in other diaries, gave me lots of bamboo, some 7 feet long, to make a sort of netting to hold up the buds rather than tie them to the tent pole roof. OK. Stuff to do. Nach genau 84 Tagen war es nun soweit, gegen Ende hin wurde die Blueberry schön dunkel und entwickelte einen hervorragenden Duft!

The start of week 5 is going well. Blueberry is smelling nice and my seedlings should be showing preflowers soon.

I think the Manhatten is starting to show signs of preflower already. She is moving fast and growing big. The Frosted Guava from Mosca is in with the two ladies in flower. (Freebie autos.)

I changed the water and raised the nutrients this week, I'm going to start 12/12 today. Not much to report but they're growing fast, power plants are already out pacing the rest like last time.

Esta variedad me encanta, huelen genial y sus cogollos son super densos y llenos de resina siempre. Poca tolerancia a los excesos y es muy fácil de estresar. A pesar de todo sigue siendo una de mis variedades favoritas ya que su aroma old school con toques ácidos me fascina!. Actualizaré luego del secado y después notas de humo. Saludos!
