All looking good apart from some leafs yellowing

Turned out amazing still hanging for a week. You definetely need a carbon filter for these. No pests or disease, eady to grow . She will eat everything you give her 💪. 2 distinct Phenotypes. All have dense buds dripped in resin. Responds very well to lst and topping once. The only bad thong is there is a phenotype that is very small and not on par as the other two huge difference. Loving it. Learned alot.

Sweet Sweeds dominant tent was down overall because of a F up on light regime. pins out of place lol. ok so all fixed. taking their topping and training like champs. merry christmas everyone. a lot of foliar spray to help the recovery. silicate a bit, algae mix.

Was a good productive week. I did give them a 30hr dark period before switching to 12/12 to really try to take advantage of the red spectrum on my light. (I read this somewhere so giving it a shot!) Also waiting to install second scrog, waiting for them to fill out a little more to help me guide the canopy as even as possible. The insides of both plants have new tops to fill in the gaps. The defoliation last week was the right move. The slower of the two up to this point is the front runner now so let's see how they continue to fill out. Temp finally dipped here so able to keep a more regulated temp. The 77-79 range seems to be what the girls are liking the most so I added a second fan to try and keep the night time humidity lower as well. Any comments or tips are much appreciated! On the home stretch! Should see some decent bud swelling this week (at least that’s how this strain develops in DWC ... haven’t flowered White Shark in coco before 😬). Trichomes starting to cloud up more, as are the pistils browning and curling in.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. 420Fastbuds-Week9 Strain:FBT2308 What up grow fam. Weekly update for these gorgeous girls. They're definitely getting close to being done and getting the chop. I did a defoliation this week to allow the light down to the lower bud sites. All in all Happy Growing.

Early flowering has started!

UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE 56g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently between 63-68%RH inside. Burping every other hour for couple of minutes. While trimming some dried buds yesterday, I came across a seed, I couldn't believe it, between 😕and 😆, first time experiencing this, interesting, hopefully she didn't lose a lot of her potency and it only happened late. Learning from this: don't change light cycle. I changed from 18 to 21 hours, thought that was a good idea... All this aside, I am sooooooo in LOVE WITH HER 😍I have never grown such a beautiful plant, excuse the photo spam, she deserves a stage, at least for me 😉I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏 Tried 2 different drying methods: 1. Regular hang dry: For 7 days in small grow tent, darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F - she was almost too dry after 7 days. 2. Low & Slow dry: after washing & hang-drying for 4 hours, she went into the fridge for 7 days in a paper bag, followed by several jar tests until she was at a steady 68% outside; She dried like this in the fridge for 8 days. I didn't trim her too much, since I want to preserve everything for oils. More details: 16. Nov. 2019 - 13. Feb. 2020 - 88 Days - Grown from Seed Smell of Berries; Pink & Yellow tips; Lots of long curly brown hair; Pink tiny leaf tips on top of buds. I’m in love whooooooooooaaaaaaa. Chop on 13. Feb 2020 - 461g Put in vase with PH water for 2 days in Dry Tent darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F 14. Feb. 2020 Darkness Day 1 - 469g 15. Feb. 2020 Darkness Day 2 - 452g Total wet - no trim - 452g Total wet - slight trim - 386g //Regular dry in tent - 50% humidity & 20°C/68F // 281g with trim went in Total dry - no trim - 43g Total dry - trim - 40g //Low and slow dry in fridge // 96g went in Total dry - trim - 16g Check 420magazine for “Low and Slow”-Dry. Im really pleased with how these girls are turning out, i was worried at 1st as the propagation tent they were in wasnt big enough to get good air flow so they were very small but as soon as i got them into the Homebox triangle tent that all changed and they are looking great.
