Considering the weather was fairly cooperate but cool at first and doing lst and not always being around my plants I'm happy with the results. Easy to grow fairly bug resistant. Disease free. Did get some bud rot maybe a total of 10 grams. Drying time was 2 weeks trimmed and curing in jars now. I am disappointed in crop king as I've herd bad things about them this year and disappointed with what I got from them as in almost all 4 plants were different and I mean strain wise not phenotype.

Day 1 30/12/24 Monday evening. Started the seed off in de-chlorinated tap water and calmag 3ml to 5L pH 6.4. I will use this water for the rest of the week as sprays and transfer water. Day 2 31/12/24 Tuesday Seed has sunk 🙌 Transferred now to paper towel, sprayed with same water. Covered. Left in cupboard 24hrs untill tap root emerges ✌️ Day 3 01/01/25 Wednesday (Happy NY 🎇💚) Tap root has only just popped!! I will check back in 12 hrs and see if theey have tails Day 4 02/01/25 Thursday Tap root reached 1cm Seed only just cracked. Will leave a further 24hrs for a sustainable tap root. Day 5 03/01/25 Friday Tap root has reach 2/3cm and now been potted up in a 1L pot with cannaterra pro, added perlite, added cococoir, and dynomyco, all watered yesterday to dampen off. . Sprayed top soils today to settle in seeds. Day 6 04/01/25 Saturday Seed has emerged to top of soil level 😁 Moved all seedlings into the auto tent so they can catch the 600w dual hps. Day 7 05/01/25 Sunday The seedlings are here 🙌 She made it through the first week, onwards and upwards 🚀💚 Light spray with de-chlorinated tap water and calmag. Covered with dome. Picture update 📸💚

Hi gromies Ive missed updates over the last few weeks phone problem! But the girls are going great!👍 I'm at the end of week 5 of flower. I'm pretty happy with it for my first scrog grow, could have been better, was in rush to get something into flower, started flowering as soon as they started to grow through net. Should have veged them & trained through the net longer to completely fill net. Pheno 3 was half the size of the other 2. Have started some clones from flowering cuttings, Monster cropping , it works great for increasing yield & saves me from having to keep motherplants. Amazing progress, the roots you see were developed in 8 days! Will start to veg them in the 2nd tent & start the perpetual harvest process. Have continued to grow this strain as I don't have any other seeds at the moment, though it is a nice strain! Definitely time for a change, hint, hint original sensible seeds! Or any other seed companies 👍

As I’m growing autos and female regulars in the same tent I’ve had to limit the amount of light the autos are getting to 12 hours a day in order to flower the lemon haze and gelato 41. This shouldn’t have too drastic effect on the Zkittles but we’ll see how they take to it. After the first week of flower receiving 12 hours of light and we can see that they’ve all opened up during the pre-flower stage ready to flower.

Day 6 update - adjusted tie down points and watered. Still no pests and no other significant signs of stress. They ladies are happy and healthy. Day 3 update - Two of the plants have started transitioning into flower. Next week BB1 and BB3 will be dubbed in flower. BB2 pheno is strange I just can't quite tell if it's even in flower... it's lanky and strange. Temps have been steady and now that the heat in the home is on I have to watch heat stress again. BB3 has recovered fully now with new growth looking absolutely perfect. No problems with pests or anything else at the moment. ....Previously.... (day 7 of week 3 - day 1 week 4) One feeding of baking soda to raise the PH of the soil. I decided to tie the girls down the last day of week 3. The topped plant (Bb2) looks more like the strain should than the other 2 phenotypes according to pictures. But the BB1 pheno is so bushy it will be a bigger yeilder for sure. The Bb3 pheno has recovered a bit we will see if the baking soda addition to the top watering helps rebound her better. Selective defoliation was done on all 3 phenos with some under growth getting removed and a couple target fan leaves blocking prime budsites.

Week 5 and we are sailing along just topped dressed the plants as of day 30 and feed them their weekly organic mater with compost tea and top dress some home made worm castings adding worms and biology to the soil. 2 more week since the one gallon and then into their final home. Removed all big fans as of day 31 to allow all side branches to grow out into a bush. The little fans will replace the bigger ones. Strong Smells of lemon lime noticeable after handling plants

🌸 Lava Cake – Week 7 Flower (Harvest Special) 🌸 This week marks a major milestone in the Lava Cake journey: we harvested phenotype two, who had been affected by bud rot. Bud rot may have tried to take the best from us, but we didn’t allow it. Every infected part was carefully removed, and the remaining healthy plant was harvested and is now drying as a whole plant under controlled conditions. ⸻ 🙏 Apologies & Context We know this is technically a flower week update, but due to the new updates on Grow Diaries and the desire to share photos, videos, and the story of this harvest so we’re combining the harvest with the flower week report. We apologize for any confusion — this is the only way to fully document and expose all that’s happening, and to make sure the lessons, successes, and challenges are visible for everyone following along. The next report will be the official “Harvest Report”, covering: • Drying & trimming process • Curing updates • Smoke review ⸻ 🌿 Quick Recap – From Seed to Here • Germination: Smooth in the Cannakan with Aptus Regulator & Start Booster, 3 seeds, 2 kept. • Vegetative Stage: Robust growth under Black Series 600 LED and later ThinkGrow & Lumatek LEDs. Root development and early structure supported with Aptus super soil and micro/macro mixes. • Transplant: Into 11L fabric pots, carefully monitored environment, roots thriving. • Early Flower: Weeks 1–4 brought thick white hairs, dense colas, and heavy branching. Nutrient support included Aptus Regulator, CalMag Boost, Plagron boosters, and All-in-One Liquid. • Mid Flower & Challenges: Week 5–6 showed signs of bud rot. Lava Cake #2 needed early harvest; Lava Cake #1 continues to swell and thrive. Through all of this, the Lava Cakes proved their resilience and quality, showing that even under stress, their genetics shine beautifully. ⸻ 🌱 Week 7 – Harvest Details • Bud Rot Management: All infected material removed and disposed of immediately. • Harvest Technique: Whole plant harvested, inspected, and prepared for controlled drying. • Drying: Slow, careful drying in a separate, stable environment to preserve aroma, terpenes, and cannabinoids while minimizing risk. Even though bud rot forced an early cut, the flowers are still dense, fragrant, and high quality. Their resilience and beauty deserve celebration. ⸻ 🔬 Educational Notes • Bud rot prevention & learning: This week reinforces how crucial airflow, humidity management, and daily inspection are during dense flower stages. • Whole-plant drying: Allows moisture to equalize gradually between stems and buds, preserving terpenes and flavonoids while keeping the product safe. • Environmental awareness: Temperature spikes, stagnant airflow, or dense canopy zones can quickly create pockets for mold — constant monitoring is essential. ⸻ 🌟 Closing Thoughts Week 7 is about resilience, lessons, and triumph over challenges. The Lava Cakes showed their strength even under pressure but needed to be harvested early, so we did it, no fears this is the only way and the way to save the rest of the closet sharing girls We want to celebrate the journey, from seed to harvest, and thank everyone following along for learning and growing with us. The next report will focus entirely on drying, trimming, and tasting — the final step where we get to enjoy the fruits of all the care, attention, and love put into these girls. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Trust me, you won’t want to miss the next steps, let’s push the boundaries of indoor horticulture together! As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 P.S. – Heavy Fruits & Harvest Decision One of the key reasons we decided to harvest Lava Cake #1 this week was how heavy the colas had become. The flowers were so dense and weighty that some branches were starting to bend, snap, and strain under the load. While this is a testament to the plant’s vigor and genetics, it also increased the risk of further bud rot and damage, making an early, careful harvest the safest and most sensible choice. Even under pressure, these girls delivered impressive structure, weight, and resin coverage, proving their strength and quality until the very last moment. Thank you all for being here with me, see you all on the next report, Growers Love to All and never stop believing 🙏🙏🙏

🗓️ Week 13 – Flower Week 9 ✅ (Final Phase & Flush) 🌿 General The final phase has begun – all plants are now in flush using Flawless Finish, and visible fade-out is setting in. Trichomes on Cherry MAC Muffin are mostly milky with the first signs of amber – the harvest window is opening 🌕✨ pH is stable at 6.2–6.3, and runoff EC is slowly decreasing as nutrient reserves are being properly depleted. 🍒 Cherry MAC Muffin – Status ➤ Initial runoff was high at 3.7 EC, likely due to salt release from the substrate ➤ Now stable at ~2.7 EC ➤ Still showing vigorous growth, with vivid colors and heavy resin production 💪❄️ ➤ One more thorough flush planned next watering, then the final dry period begins. Flush Setup Using CalMag at EC 0.3 + Flawless Finish (2 ml/L) Fade-out is clearly visible and progressing as planned. 🕒 Harvest is just a few days away!

everything is going very well, the girls have developed, we have found a hermaphrodite, what a surprise my colleague got when he found one with eggs, what a scare! I saw a video of a Mexican whose technique consists of breaking the male balls and letting the flower clean and do it every day as soon as new shoots come out, there comes a time when they no longer grow and only the female hairs follow, I will see that That's how it goes, if I can, when I visit the indoor, a photo of the hermaphrodite will be taken, only one of the girls, I don't know if she got stressed or what happened, the others continue to flower normally, big beautiful females, I'm amazed, how many showed my first crop, I see it great what do you think friends
