Week 5! She's stretching wild. We tried supercropping but she bounced right back up. Then we tried supercropping and holding her down with a trellis net, but she bounced up again. In any case, she really wants to grow and we're currently counting about 12 branches with decent light exposure and bud sites - and about 20 budsites in total. We're keeping all bud sites - even the minor ones - and defoliation is only performed on those leaves that cannot be tucked away. Light cycle is 18/6 and PPFD varies between 450 - 1100. The growing light had to be raised twice this week. While the PLAGRON directions suggest adding Green Sensation starting in week 4 of bloom, we're ignoring those instructions and we'll add it right away. Reason being that those instructions probably reference photo periods. As for the nutritional density, she's holding up quite well so we're providing a higher dose than suggested until she starts showing signs of deficiency (nutrient lockout). Furthermore, the recommended PLAGRON feeding schedule does not specifically mention Power Buds, but their additional information mentioned it to be complimentary and compatible with Green Sensation.

This week everything’s went smooth. The plants are stretching like crazy everyday since I switched my lighting from 24 hours to 12/12!! Starting to flower now. Removed some leaves that were blocking bud sites.

In my opinion it's last week for Girl Scout Cookies Auto and for Power Plant Auto tilll harvest, how do you think?? Vanilla Latte Auto is on it's 3rd week of flowering period and is very strong and beautifull plant

Ganja Farmer Seeds AK 2.0 XL Day 25 from sprout Light:Viparspectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% Top and bottom watering every other day to every 2 days Almost starting week 4 for this AK 2.0 XL. She has done very well with LST and is starting to show faster growth the past week. Welp. I honestly didn't expect this. As I have mentioned in previous posts, this plant was no longer on its own timeline, the next plant was going to decide. In addition to this, I had just done a heavy defol and put the leaves and 3 small nugs in my cannatrol. The cannatrol still had 2 days before finishing its dry, so this ended up being interrupted. In some unfortunate mishap, as shown in the pictures, my light was scheduled to turn off at 5am. The device said it did, but as you see in the graph, it stayed on until I had caught it at 12:24pm. I simply disconnected the usbc from the outlet, reconnected it, my light kicked on for a sec, then back off. I think messing with my dehumidifier lastnight glitched the system and I should've done a reset when I was done messing with it. With the stress already playing a chance at mutations, the additional light didnt help. No hurt feelings here. With the weight off the bud and the sugar leaves, my cannatrol is maxed. 2.2 lbs of wet weight is all it can take, and I am pushing that. 900 grams of wet, partially trimmed buds impressed me! Not sure the sugar leave weight. Setting cannatrol to dry for 5 days and cure for 25. I know it can go way quicker, but I read a study about these settings and want to see if it stands any truth. Smoke report and dry weight coming soon!

So... welcome back! Last week was rather uneventfull. Just the way I like it. They are all getting more substance though. The middle one is more leafy, the two outer ones are more developed and although the biggest buds are maybe only the size of a lighter. Most buds have filled out with calixes and only little leaves. They are dense and compact. The smell is getting heavier. When close to the buds it reminds of expensive herbal perfumes like Rabane. I distinctly have a 'hug from your poppa' kind of association with it and memories start flowing.... It is citrussy but in the ethereal way, it is spicy in the 'spicetrader' way, a mixture of ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, with a huge funky basetone. This combined, its as if a master perfumer had composed an exquisite fragrance. The funk of an attick full of weed to serve as the musky base undertones upon which, a layer of earthy spices, upon which a floral and citrussy fresh layer. It is bloody amazing and I wished ya'll were with me to smell it and taste it when the time has come. I want to exersize patience but my god this smells better than any weed I recently acquired and we have some excellent dispensaries here. So I've started giving them up to 4 ltrs ( a gallon) of water each, every two days or so. They seem to need it, no drooping but also bonedry earth till deep in the pot. SInce two days ago with less feed and today only the Biobizz Topmax and PH correction. Although not really convinced of flushing, Im trying it to see if I get a more pure taste and experience. So trichomewise I find it hard to see, my magnifier is not strong enough to see the individual trichomes. I do see area's on leafedges etc that seem more amber, trichomes look milky from this distance but have get a better magnifier to get better view. On the images I see that there are many clear ones and not many ambers so we have some weeks to go which is correct according to Advanced Seeds, this Gelato #33 Fast has to flower 45 to 55 days, We are on day 39... The plant itself seems utterly healthy. Some white points and very little heatstress from checking absolute minimum for these lights. You don't know until you find out. For anyone else looking for reviews on Rubol V3 100 watt QB's in a three in a row setup, with 10 cm spacing between each board, the minimal distance is 28 cm or one foot, when flowering, gradually lowering to this point btw. These lights are excellent, good value for money and with the two years of waranty a good investment. Also great service from Justin at www.rubol.nl. They are helpfull, considerate and very knowledgable. So far so good, the grand finale is coming in just one or two weeks and I want to thank you for taking time and read all this, everybody who had advice and answered my growquestions, wish you were here for the harvestparty and may your harvest be bountifull!! The end is near! She now has mostly cloudy trichomes, checking every other day for the amber count to go up. I do think it will be maybe a week until harvest, but again I’ll let her trichomes decide when she’s ready. Her leaves are definitely in the fade stages. I decided to let her dry out for 3 nearly 4 days, as you can see in the pics. She’s has gone very droopy, but I’m confident her watering will perk her up, she is on just ph’d water now, and will be until she is ready to harvest. Checking the buds, no issues she smells amazing, it’s almost candy like it’s so pungent. Lovely sweet strawberries and ripe banana scent. I’m hoping she finishes well, after having such a good grow. 2 girls 1 cup week 3! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my experiment. They're getting a little big to be taking individual overhead pics everyday now. They always both end up in the same shot no matter what. Will still update daily with pic. Got a new cam that can do timelapse. Almost sent it back until I said fuck it and tried TWO layers of sunglasses. Diff colors too. One more of a FLD filter color, one more of a UV filter color. Both are polarized as well. I'm sure the night vision footage will be trash with the IR behind the lenses, so the timelapse will have res checks/changes and night prob edited out. Stay tuned for that! Going 1/2 strength GHE week 3 light feed and actually changed RES last night. Was looking at em and already noticed WG was drooping more than it should. Normal transportation and growth/energize cycles are expected, but was looking overwatered. GC if you look in vid "d14" in first and second set of fingers showing interveinal chlorosis. PH has been between 5.52 and 6.4 (lowest and highest), and averages a swing in a 12hr shift from 5.71'ish to 6.17'ish. Not uploading notes again like last week, but you'd get the idea if you saw them, I take notes lol. So PH wasn't an issue. They've been averaging a 7-15ppm drop in res per 12hr and has only been climbing again due to ph down additions. I should prob change RES mid week so it's not a high concentration of ph product. So they're DEF eating proper, have stable ph swings, optimal res Temps and dissolved oxygen is good. WG taking on more water to get the nutes, causing leaves to droop from excess water. GC moving nutes from old growth to the new growth. So they're hungry. Ghe claims 62.5ppm nitrogen, 275-375ppm target per mixture below. Mixed and measured in between each addition to get my numbers. -2gal Water/calmag/hydroguard 215ppm -Micro 4.9mL - 170ppm -Grow 4.6mL - 100ppm -Bloom 3.4mL - 60ppm Nute concentration - 330ppm (nailed it again GHE) Water - 215ppm Total - 545ppm Ph'd to 5.6 final tds 563ppm Mars Hydro TSW2000 on theeee way to finish these girls off right.. some of my worries are settled. For now... *they just ate 32ppm since this mornings RES chk/adj... I was thinking I'd have to swap RES once mid week once they get older, but think they may benefit from it sooner than later. Tap roots popping out by the chute for the air line, the temp sensor, and the main stack.. going to have to pump the res out pretty soon to avoid root damage. Timelapse will turn out pretty sweet if I would quit bumping the damn camera, and stay TF outta there 🤣. **these girls are starting to BLOW UP! Figured I'd bump their feed up a bit today because they told me to. Eating as much as they are as quick as they are I'm going to have to be on top of it or shit will go south quick.. so, for the record.. Need to grab some 91% before I go cutting on these girls though, so they stay for now. *****d19 mars tsw2000 showed up two days early! hung it during the "night". timelapse updated, day 18 and 19. lots of growth under the fans, and WG trying to push GC tf out of the cup lol. Training rods installed for the mains, and all the 3 fingers are plucked. Ended up plucking a 9 finger from WG and a 5 finger from GC to make way for the under growth. Feel like Bruce Almight parting a bowl of soup lol ******didn't want to post a pic of my girls in distress, but documenting everything else, so why tf not. swapped out the clear sight tube for a more UV friendly agro green. Marked the tube in the same spot as the clear, but it was almost a gallon more in reality at the same mark. I was drowning them with no air gap below the upper growing chamber. After measuring, it was submerged by about 5/8th inch. Sorted that out, and took almost all day for em to perk up. On top of that, the new light and adding another oscillator changed my environment. No more humidifier in the tent. Thought I lost both of them.. Soggy leaves, spotting, etc. Backed nutes back down to 3/4 strength wk 3 due to slight curling in new growth and one lighter tip on one new finger. Shortened the training rods tonight and started with some bondage. Prob the last time they'll get tied down before the net gets used (if needed) here in a week or so. Backed off to 16 DLI from 20 until they really perk up. End of week 3

Well well well thanks to all of you for reading my diary and supporting that project 😎 This was the longest run I've been through for a while, but it was worth it. I was rewarded with 168g of top shelf quality buds, while she was under a 110W SMD (LM301B) board. Only 110W... I was amazed by these boards by InvisibleSunLed, and very happy of my investment. Samsung diodes are game-changers and it will get even better in a near future, what an exciting time for us modern growers! If you plan to buy some SMD boards, make sure the driver is dimmable, the light intensity can be so strong at its maximum, you could burn your plants (or your eyes). I started the board at 50% (~55W) and slowly increased the wattage as I was seeing a happy plant enjoying her indoor sun. I was also very surprised by the cheap IKEA bulbs, some ingeneers at IKEA must be growing pot, these tiny things do really work! I wouldn't try to flower anything with these, but it was perfect for the first weeks of my THC-Bomb. I made some canna-butter using the sugar leaves from the trim and some decarboxylated buds, and cooked a big cake. That s*** was strong as hell, I was unable to do anything for 24 hours 😭 If you're not used to edibles, start with small pieces rather than a big cake, I learned it the hard way 😜 I will now work on gaining knowledge about nutrient absorption in coco, improving my photo skills (must get a new camera..), and I will also look for a better way to produce timelapses. Girl is at 170-180 cm height already ;))) Need to buy longer bamboos, tied to the highest place and hope for no hurricanes ;)))) Think to visit now in couple weeks, they have food, UK weather back to rainy side, so i don't need to do anything ;) Day 96.
