Pheno #1 is getting fatter and fatter by the day although she is starting to fade out a bit. It’s a shame I had to tie her down because I swear her main cola would have been a foot long 😂She is also sensitive to light and has received slight amounts of burn and bleaching. She is the largest of the three but she has the least amount of resin and terpenes which is a bit unfortunate... She smells earthy, no banana scent or fruit terps like pheno #2. I still have about another 4+ weeks to go so that could easily change but we will see. I will try to be optimistic! Pheno #2 is a frost monster. She is completely covered in resin and trichromes. Her smell is out of this world, definitely has that banana fruity type smell. I don’t think I have smelt another strain quite like this so I’m very excited to see how she continues develop. Pheno #3 is a bit funky. She is stretching and getting bushier but she is extremely slow to flower. She has tons of shoots and bud sites. Almost every popcorn type branch at the very bottom raced to the top of the canopy. I feel like she hasn’t changed in the past couple weeks but maybe that’s just me being impatient. She is developing some interesting deficiencies but only on a couple leaves here and there. She is also somewhat lackluster compared to the other two. In my opinion she is a little dull looking... It’s odd to see how all three pheno’s are expressing different traits regardless of being grown in identical substrates with identical feeding schedules. It’s hard to say if it’s the genetics, substrate or the nutrients but I have a strong feeling it has more to do with the medium not being properly balanced. I normally would never grow with such a light substrate but DP grew theirs in a similar medium so I thought for the first time around I’d try to grow similar to their style. Next round I’m definitely going to switch it up and use the NFG or a custom soil blend I’ve been developing for auto flowers. It should be nice to see how a commercial soil compares to a homemade organic soil tailored for auto flowers. I’ll most likely run that experiment within a month or so once I get my new grow space setup. This week I’m going to lay off the nutrients and feed with some compost teas and microbes instead. In the video you can see my smaller brewing bucket. This is a mini-Microbulator along with an air stone. This allows for maximum dissolved oxygen saturation and also helps with preventing anaerobic spots in the brew. Set up a new space for future grows. The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Week 3 - doing very well! Moved the plants to an attic room in my house and positioned them under a sky light - seem to be thriving now. I taped some tinfoil around the plants to maximise sunlight. Vegetation looks healthy and I have been watering sporadically when needed. No signs of any problems or stress, fingers crossed! Thinking about repotting them into their final, larger containers soon. Nothing added in terms of nutrients or anything like that! So far, so good. Let's hope they stay on track.

Growing so far

Hello Diary, Cherry Pie has completed its second week of vegetation. It has grown 10 cm this week which is great and has started to form places where the flowers will appear. Sometimes it's surprising how quickly plants develop and grow if they have good conditions. Since it's the middle of summer, the temperatures are still high, but for now I don't see that it doesn't suit them. Sometimes it is over 31 degrees in the grow box. I make sure that the soil does not dry out, so I increased the amount of water when watering. I continue to add Bio Grow Fertilisier and CalMg with each watering. pH I drop to 6.0 with Plagron's Lemon Kick. At the end of the week, more precisely after taking photos for day 14., I increased the power of the led lights to 60%. Here is a quick overview of the week: 04/08/2024 - Day 11. Watering. I prepared 6 liters of water, added the previously mentioned nutrients and with that amount I evenly watered all three plants on the farm. 07/08/2024 - Day 14. After taking the photos, I watered all three plants on the farm in the same way as three days earlier. Cherry Pie - Day 14. - 17 cm That's all from me for this week, see you soon.

June 7: she’s doing better but still not right after the frost a couple weeks ago. Check out coyowolves howling on video. June 8: removed frost damaged colas and composted immediately with coffee grounds, peat pot bottoms, some HP Pro-Mix from a couple of failed peat pots and LAB. Cannabis was assimilated almost immediately and it looked like good compost after about two days. This was my Coffee Canna Compost which was used for some autos. June 10: gave it 2.5 mL/L of FPJ as a soil drench rather than just the usual 1 mL/L as a weekly foliar spray. Plant seemed to grow a lot in the next few days so maybe I should do that more often. June 11: looking better since the frost damage setback. Not as strong in the cool weather as the two Quebec Cannabis Seed plants but as we move into summer this plant should be fine. June 13: recovered the six inches of height lost when I removed the frost damaged colas.

Significant change this week with the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12. She has developed nicely with her canopy growth. The N13 has plenty of auxiliary shoots sprouted at every angle her stem is robust and she stands at 53cm. From here on she will receive phd balanced water with amino acids as requntil week five!

She’s been adding allot of smaller fans and starting to show sex. To cut down on humidity I decided to cover my 100% perlite grow media with coco and perlite mixed aprox. 50/50 Running a small oscillating fan going to add another soon. Also adding a carbon filter and inline to scrub the air. I wish I could just have a closed loop system with co2. My lights aren’t that strong so I wonder if some co2 sup would help.

Week 7, we are in full flower and I show you the feeding today, very simple and not much to it. The plant drinks this 25 liter tank empty like nothing, that's a good sign, she takes in the nutrients and grows rapidly. Still cleaning some leaves and branches here and there, will update when we made some more progress, so far everything is going well.
