[Week 10 - Harvest] The Fat Banana plant has reached its peak maturity within the minigrow box. We harvest the plant, trim the buds, and prepare them for the drying and curing process. And there you have it—the weekly progress of a Fat Banana Cannabis plant, grown within a minigrow box, resulting in a super quick and easy grow in just 10 weeks!

This week has been going good I think I will be chopping some of the buds off of her within the next week to start the drying and curing process im going to try my hand at cloning this lady.

Hi all🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my final 🍌💜👊 week update. First of all. I would like to thank you all for such an amazing support on this bananas journey. I am amazed of the amount of love received from community here. Thank you Grow Diaries and Fastbuds for opportuniy to share and grow this amazing genetics. Love you all❤️💜💚 Was looking for strong indica dominant strain and after reading and hearing so much about this one. Just couldn't resist to not give a go. Was a bit worried before planting seeds that my final yield outcome may not be satisactionary as only have 0.26msq and Fastbuds advertising this strain as 450-550g msq but thankfuly my result was way above this scale. My 2 beautiful ladies Athena - right corner lady. She was slighlthly more dominant over entire grow cycle. She got more space on scrog earlier and that's why she developed the most. Xena - left corner lady, I belive that she could outgrew her sister if she just have more space and another week of time. Did not expect her to turn so well on the end. Both girls were put in darkness for 48h before chop. Wet trimmed and hang for a week. Daily jars burbing for 10 days and every 2-4 days now. Weights Wet trimmed Athena 870g Xena 632g Total 1502g Dry trimmed Athena 172g Xena 147g Total dry 319g Bubble hash 6g (37g of trims) I am very happy with this result. In my opinion Banana Purple Punch Auto its a masterpiece. Explosive growth this week! Must of doubled in size. Some kind of hungry insects, caterpillars maybe? Minor leaf damage, nothing major. Going to keep up with Neam/Aloe/Kelp spray. No rain in the foreseeable future, 26c every day, early summer for sure. Doesnt appear to need any extra nutrients, will add some more Gaia Green next week. I've had Lupins here for the past few years, which are Legumes and have great nitrogen fixing qualities, not to mention this entire patch of land had 20 years of old decaying blackberry bramble which were cleared 3 years ago when we bought the place, and the soil is some of the richest I've ever seen. No shortage of Nitrogen in there. I'll be honest, this plant is twice the size this time of year then the last 2 years I've been growing outdoors. I'm a little concerned I'll need my ladder come Oct! I did FIM once earlier in the week, will FIM ever 2-3 weeks till July to try and keep the height under control.

Week 5 / flowering Everything is looking good. The nutrient burn/overfeeding issue seems to be behind me, although a few marks are still visible and don’t seem to be spreading. I’ll gradually start increasing the feed again. Runoff is reading 500 ppm. The buds are stacking up nicely, and the trichome development is looking great as well. The three in the foreground are transitioning white widows that are not being tracked. This week the bud sites have been fattening some. I noticed some minor leaf tip burn on these girls and moved the light up a few inches to compensate. 🌿👀

Happy new year everyone! I hope everyone had some amazing festivities! 😃 Regarding my babies I think I might be underfeeding them and one might be shocked thanks to the heat and the lack of nutrients I gave them, last week's runoff water scared me and the plants might be suffering because of that! Most of the issues starts to get more noticeable later during the week! 😖 I started giving them few nutrients to see how they would react and at the end of the week it's clear that I had to give them waaaaay more 😵 Besides that I also moved them to their final pots and I topped Pistachio, out of the two she's the one that looks the best. I also defoliated them a little. I also believe they didn't get a transplant shock (I mean, they would've been worse if that was the case haha) and I added more mycorrhizas during the transplant (I heard they help a lot with hot climates and I need help with that badly) Anyway, thanks for reading! This week started out by hooking the autopot res up to begin the gravity feeding, the roots have had plenty of time to establish and give the autopot plenty to work with. Ive also topped the plants, and thinned down the huge fan leaves, these were acting like an umbrella keeping light out out. Already new growth is kicking in and the plants are responding really well to the prune and gravity feeding. The rest of this week is all about tlc and recovery, and what i mean by that is ill be leaving them well alone and giving them some privacy along with some peace and quite while they settle back down and recover their injuries 👍

This is week 2 for the "gelato auto" from female seeds. this week it was given it's first dose of worm tea to the soil and I also foliar fed the leaves for disease prevention. I tried to transplant some clover cover to the right side of the pot from a empty container the clover did not transfer well unfortunately and so I now have a bare section in my cover crop I'll likely leave it alone and just proceed without regard to it. the plant it's self looks healthy however it does seem to be behind some of my other varieties in size I won't know until later in the grow if this is a normal trait that is made up later or if something is off. As far as I can see though all is well. In addition a added a diy light mover to the garden to aid them in getting more light and I'm steadily increasing the intensity daily. I'm going to do some LST to this plant but because I'm not convinced of its resilience at this time I may avoid topping. thats all for this week. Grow is coming along nicely. Only providing Calmag and KoolBloom. Colas are getting bigger, but crowding is becoming an issue. pH in root zone has been slowly decreasing. Adjusted nutrient pH a little higher to compensate. Only a few more weeks to go. 😎

This proves different genetics but same for my knowledge.

I began the second week with 1/4 soil feed of NITRO that is added to the top layer of soil. I'm using Bigbudjuice throughout with a wet feed, and soil application. Day 9 is when the growth really started to happen as the seedlings seem to have good roots. Day 11 the girls were then given a 1/4 of budjuice watering which has resulted in some awesome growth over 3 days. During this week I've slowly increased the intensity while watching how the react and have shown no issues. Currently sitting at 350 Par and will being to.lower slowly to increase par to 450 PAR as the start into Veg. Also lowering RH slowly as well. I am a new grower, and I'm going slowly and steady while learning not to try to much or be crazy ambitious as a beginner. I also began a pre pest control spray on foliage with neem oil/Dr Bronners dish soap/water mix applying every 10-12 days. Thanks for stopping by and if you have any tips or advice it is all welcomed. I changed the lamp to 50 w :D because my growing box is only 0.16m. it's a really economical grow box, we'll see who gets it:) I think it would be great to reach 40 gr :)

4 of 12 Buds are finish with 20% amber Trichomes. The rest need a little more time. Smell is amazing, Whole Plant is very very sticky! Only the 4 Buds have a weight of 65gr wet..

She's starting to show some nice purple colors, even though it's not getting very cold at night. She's showing many nice buds and it appears that while they may not be the biggest buds I have grown, they will be quite firm. So far, so good! Let's see what happens!
