FBT 2401 is sprouted and doing well. This was the second seed. I forgot to water the first seed, and it was too late by the time I got to it. This was my mistake. This seedling is doing good though. She has reached day 21. I gave her only 1 good watering in the middle of the week. Weather has been decent with not much rain. Mostly sun and a couple of overcast sky days.😍

Hello everyone. Another week passed, gave her water and some enzimes on day 33, I noticed some leaf intervenal discoloration, not too concerning in my opinion. Maybe the enzimes were too much or some nutrient lock out due to a somewhat excessive fertilization. Any opinion on this issue? I think will go on with plain water to the end I think, hoping the problem will sort out itself. What do you think? Other then that I think buds oare forming fast and fine, she's putting out a little resin and smell now. Ciao 😊

So last day of training. Going to do a bit more defoliation and triming but for the most part that's it. Got another 7-8 weeks to go before she's done and I can't wait. Had a bit of a issue with the humidity and temperature this last week. Humidity was staying just under 40% tell today and the temperature was droping to 16c at night when the light was off. But it's getting warmer outside so hopefully that won't happen again. Well that's all for now, keep growing!!!

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. One of the standout features of Auto Purple is its ability to change colors without requiring extra effort or investments from my side. This common challenge posed by autoflowers prompts a reevaluation of expectations, acknowledging that their unique traits may require a different approach to achieve optimal results. In summary, Auto Purple by Pyramid Seeds offered a delightful visual experience with its natural color changes and fruity notes, marking a positive step into the realm of colorful strains. However, the persistent challenges in yield highlight the need for a nuanced approach to cultivation when dealing with autoflowering varieties.

Not much going on, the buds are getting fatter. There is now a faint smell. Some buds now getring some colour. Still taking feed probably at least 2 weeks left.

Only 10 days from last update, This girl take off. They double the size every week. Looking healthy so far. Give top dress with compost tea, liquid sea weed and alga grow.

Well I had been running my dehumidifier, which blows hot air out the top. The fan then blew that hot air over the canopy resulting in some heat stress on the front plants 😭. I think I caught it in time and made appropriate adjustments. One a good note, the Red Hot Cookies in the back are so heavy with buds, the branches are almost touching the ground (gotta string 'em up). Lol

As the plant enters the fifth week of flowering, the first trichomes have begun to form. The buds have started to thicken considerably during this week. They are becoming denser and more robust, which indicates that the plant is channeling its energy into producing larger, more resinous flowers. Throughout the growth process, the cannabis plant has shown no signs of health issues. It has remained vigorous and resilient, with no observable deficiencies or diseases. To ensure optimal light penetration and airflow, the plant was lightly defoliated this week. The cannabis plant is progressing well in its fifth week of flowering. The formation of trichomes, the thickening of buds, and the plant's overall health are all promising indicators of a successful flowering phase.

Third week of flowering - stretch is real. I had to move the light up to escape from the growth. All are doing fine, Strawberry is still meh/weird but 3/5 are fabulous, rest is alive and flowering, tent is full - I'm content. Due to Easter I did not had time for them - I need to catch up with defoliation, lollipopping and ScrOGging them. More on that in the next update, cheers 😎
