They just have these immense top colas (for those who prefer to leave the plant untouched - I don't do anything to my plants, no defoliation, LST, etc. Mostly because I'm really lazy when it comes to these things.

Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) . Did them a lot of good. I almost despaired of getting my seeds to germinate after I moved house. Unfortunately, I seem to have stored them incorrectly during the move, so almost all of my auto seeds refused to germinate. But this single Mimosa Cake Auto from Fastbuds did manage it in only 2 days, and I'm very happy to be able to grow three plants at once after all. What a struggle! Because I was given a pretty olla (a clay pot that you bury in the ground), I'm going to try it out this time. Fertiliser cannot be added this way, but it should prevent the soil from drying out. In this grow, I used my usual nutrients from Greenbuzz-Nutrients, which I received as a sponsorship over a year ago. Time to use them up! As a substrate, I used the peat-free Lightmix from T.A. again. It is cheaper than alternatives with peat and better for the environment, so I recommend everyone to give it a try.

11/24: Looks like the Emerson Effect/14 hour photoperiod is working...stretching has commenced.👍 11/25: Had to raise the lights 5 inches today. The big Sucrose Overdose and a Zkittlez are really stretching. I'm using platforms of varying heights for the shorter plants to keep the canopy level. 11/27: Raised the lights another 5 inches and fed today. 11/28: Raised the lights another couple inches this morning...now, I'm thinking I should have topped them...that's a foot in about 3 days...doh!😏 They're already starting to show signs of budding up, so I'll just have to do some supercropping and tie down the taller mains. 11/29: Raised the lights a couple more inches and supercropped the tallest Sucrose Overdose.

I go into the local Hydro store and the previous owner happens to be there. We talk about my novice grow and I mention the "Calcium" issue as I show him a photo.... He immediately asks me " Are those pots on a concrete floor? Because if they are, your roots are getting cold making it look like a calcium issue".... The new owner gives me a nice slab of styrofoam from an old box to put on the floor of my tent as I go home. I sick my BlueLabs PH soil pen in a drain hole at the bottom side of my pot and HOLY CRAP its only 17c and the PH is 5.2 !!!!! I take the plants to the bathtub and flush them with clean water PH'd to 5.8, about 8L of rinse per pot. I check initial run-off and its a whopping 2300ppm/50!!!!! I also remove some of the effected fan leafs in hopes I dont get some sort of plant illness. A day later I do the same PH test, PH is 5.8 and temp is 22C...all is well again. I should have paid attention to growing saying...make sure you get run off checks.

Well the older (28 day) gal is doing great, bent the main stem quite a bit along with a few side budsites, excited to see how much is stretches out in the new tent. The younger (21 day) gal is doing her thing - power veg mode, interesting to see even though she's a week younger, she's just doing her own thang ;) I may need to trim a few leaves off her to get light to the bud-sites underneath. happy growing y'all! 😎

Day 23: Both plants are still recovering from the strong pre-fertilization of the soil. Pheno 2, which was weak since it pierced the surface still has a very hard time. I wonder if it will recover eventually... Day 25: Pheno 1 shows first pistil hairs. Day 27: Even Pheno 1 showing curled down and dark greenish leaves, albeit nothing was fed. This strain seems to react sensitively to pre fertilized soil. Day 28 (end of week 4): Tips of every shoot showing first real signs of flowering. I will wait at least another 1,5 weeks until I will apply minimal dosages of bloom and top max. Also pheno 2 (weakling) is now showing pistils. Still it's growth is in slo-mo and looks weak.

So far so good with these girls my only complaint is the fact that I wish I had a bigger light but I will make this work until I can afford another one. Overall plants are healthy and are building thick branching. Gonna take down the wall and add another small light until I can afford a big one.
