I managed to turn the negative heat temperature in to something positive by introducing co2 to the environment. As a result of the diy co2 method some of branches grew up by 1.5 inches in 2days! Will continue to utilise co2 in the box for now. I also had to adopt the defoliation method Way to many leaves could cause problems by raising the moisture level in the box. As a result of the defoliation a lot of light is reaching the bottom of the box. Which means I can grow other small plants in the box. I switched to bloom NPK ratios. Slowly introducing the raw mix. It’s doing fine and as allways no tip burns

Day 92: what’s happening guys! Week 14 is here. Temps have been okay and humidity has been okay. I’ve got the 400w hps set up and it’s dropped temps slightly and slightly raised humidity which is what I wanted. In my opinion she’s looking ready for the chop! I’m seeing plenty of cloudy trichomes and a few ambers and I’m going for less of a couch lock so I’m thinking around now she is ready. I started plain water 6 days ago and she’s recieved 2L,1L and then 1L again today. All leaves have started yellowing, I imagine this is the plant pulling the nitrogen from the leaves as there’s none at the roots. How much longer does she need to be fed plain water for before she is ready for the chop? Thanks! Stay safe and happy growing✌️🌱🍁 End of the day edit: I decided to harvest the majority of her. The bottoms just a bit under developed so I’ll leave it going a bit longer. After chopping and taking photos out of the hps light the nugs are looking a tinge purple although I can’t see it as strong with my eyes. Hopefully I’ll get a wet weight later so I can add it to the diary later on. Temp is around 24c and humidity is 45-55. How does that sound? I’ve got extractor at the top and a fan at the bottom. We’ll see how long it takes to dry, hoping to go for atleast 5 days. Still growing strong actively. In particular Ryu developed lots of newly freshly white pistils but also the lower bud sites started to grow significantly. Fingers crossed that this will grow smoothly towards the end. The emergency harvested branches were ok but way to soon of course. At the same time they haven’t been very big either so I guess the impact on final harvest won’t be as big/maybe even beneficial as for air flow, nutrient supply etc for the rest of the branches. Also those I harvested have been excluded by my counting so far as I haven’t seen them since they were too low. There’s another one such candidate who might have to be emergency harvested as well but he’ll have a full more week and also he is heavily coated in sugar already. Let me know in the comments how well you can see the sugar coating, especially the lower bud sites sometimes have an excessive coating. Would be interesting to know whether this has anything to do with lower bud sites doing something that it makes them sugar up more. Or maybe it’s the light that is different in these darker areas The image quality in the video for some reason is much better often than in the photos. I don’t get why the iPhone isn’t just doing what it does in video mode in photo mode as well. Update: The overall coloring is slowly transitioning from white to Orange on those Buds. I can now see the end of the tunnel. Buds are also swelling nicely. And oh the chomes! 🥦🍆

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Week 2 of flower and I can see I should have some nice big buds when fully developed. They finished their stretch at the of week 2 and started to produce terpenes. The choc mint og smell is here!

Week 6 of flower! Have seen some lovely bud production, up to now. Plants are super frosty already, possibly the frostiest I've grown upto now. Buds are super sticky to the touch, terpenes taking me back a few years to when I use to see this strain around alot.

These is a project in the we try (test) tge products of our sponsors to see how good they genetics are, for example we have know 6 seeds banks on these round. Sweetseeds with the dark devil auto have break the time record for seed on the ground , 20 hours , only these tine have the seeds from sweetseeds on the soil and they just jump out to 2 cm , simple amazing

Ordered a scale the other day so should have some more numbers tomorrow! Not going to sample anything until I get the scale, then I'll update with some more details.

The seeds have germinated after around 59 hours to be exact very strongly I started to germinate the seeds on January 12th however it was 00:00 Am so it's almost like saying January 13th, the 2 out of 2 seeds have germinated very well without any problem! Had a tough time mitigating heat in the summer when this grow took place. Was also not able to care for the two plants I had as best i could due to a lack of time. Harvest really suffered because of it but still got some great results. Didn't weigh it but i filled 12 32 oz mason jars. 6 Of which were from my cloned plant. 4 were God's Vagina and 2 were a mix of both buds.

The plants are growing steadily. I’ve already had to adjust the lamp height several times because the largest plants are starting to get dry leaf tips. I need to try to lower the humidity, as it gets very high when the tent is closed, and even though many of the side openings are open, the humidity is still extremely high.

Die Northern Lights ist eine robuste Pflanze die bei optimalen Bedingungen sich gut von solchen Eingriffen erholt. Sie ist den letzten Tagen sehr gelb geworden, braucht nur noch alle 3 Tage Wasser. Der Geruch ist mild süß aromatisch.

The generous use of fertiliser in the last few weeks has done wonders for these plants. 🌱🔥 We’re now entering a stage where I’m quite happy for them to start using up the nutrients stored in their remaining leaves. I won’t stop adding fertiliser just yet, but I’ll reduce it to once a week. Since they’ve already progressed quite far, I’m not too worried about signs of deficiencies at this stage — it’s all part of the natural fade.
