This week I had to remove my red light (sad because red leds are the most efficient one in terms of pffd per wattage) the reason for that is bleaching of the tips. Scientists found out that cultivars start bleaching if u hit 600 umol/m2/s red light (just red photons and not every strain bleaches). Besides that I did nothing to them. From now on I will try to keep the temps low but with a pretty small day/night temp difference. Now preservation of terps and maturing are my points of interests. Some nice colours are getting through … that was supported by some nitrogen deficiency. This was Not on purpose but better than burning them with nutrients. (Nitrogen is required to produce chlorophyll, which is Green. If u reduce the nitrogen towards the end you can support other pigments to come through.) Week two switch to an AC Infinity 2x4x5 grow tent under a spider farmer SF-2000 200 watt LED grow light. Noticed beginnings of a spider mite infestation. Immediately treated by spraying off with mid-pressure water then sprayed down with a water and dawn soap mixtures. Ran this IPM every other day for the week. Reduced infestation, but need to find a natural or more organic solution. Been looking into Organishield b/c been hearing great things about this non-oil based treatment solution that is used as a foliar spray. Aside from the IPM issue, clones seem to be doing well with exception of the Black Cherry Gas. Taking a while to recover from stress of under watering prior to 1 gallon transplant as well as infestation.

12/25/23 - Day 48 - Merry Xmas yall! The plant is looking great! She keeps on stretching up with the buds! PH and PPMs are looking great. 12/28/23 - Day 51 - So she has been growing like crazy. For sure this is the bushiest plant I have had in here yet! The undergrowth is insane, the canopy is filling up with buds, its a good day to be Skunk#1 plant. She might be drinking water too fast and messing up the ratios of nutes to water but that's easily fixable by making sure she is topped off every day. Everything is going as expected. Ill update again in another day or so.

It was a perfect grow. The plant is ready and its 2 days before harvest. She will be potent, i cant wait to smoke her. I am happy that i had no problem with her.

week two flower everything looks healthy :D today i defoliated them i watered them with 1.5l every 48h the light i use was set to 80% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops

finally here we are, the transition to flowering begins after 7 weeks the girls are ready, with some feeding problems, I will try to give them what they prefer and now the countdown begins.

I exposed part of the roots and re-routed all the wires. I had loosened them all beforehand to get better access to the soil. 12.23. Removed the lowest leaves and exposed the shoots. The little ones now have enough leaves of their own to continue growing. From now on, the main shoot will grow back in an arc over itself. 💛✌️ 12.21. Still going according to plan.

So my first attempt at SCRoG seems to be working. In one short week these two girls went from stretching lanky plants to a well managed grow. Daily leaf tuck and minor adjustments in placement. Bud sites have the first sign of white pistils so they are now in flower.

🌸 Week 12 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week has passed, and we are finally reaching the end of this pheno hunt. It has been an exciting journey with plenty of highs, but unfortunately also a few setbacks during the final weeks. 📈 Current observations: Unfortunately, Pheno #1 didn't make it to the finish line. Several buds developed bud rot, and rather than risking further contamination, I decided the best option was to remove and dispose of the entire plant. Pheno #3 never fully recovered after I had to remove multiple main colas earlier in flower because they were growing into the SANlight fixture. That stress significantly reduced its flower production, and in the end it simply wasn't worth keeping until harvest. Pheno #4 and #5 have now been harvested and are hanging to dry. Unfortunately, Pheno #4 accidentally snapped during handling, so I had no choice but to harvest it immediately. Luckily, it was already mature enough for harvest. That leaves Pheno #2 and Pheno #6 as the final two plants still standing in the tent. They are continuing to finish their flowering cycle, and I'm expecting Pheno #2 to be ready for harvest sometime next week. 📊 Current environment: Temperature: 31°C Relative Humidity: 63% VPD: ~1.66 kPa SANlight fixture at maximum height Light intensity: 90% 🌿 Final thoughts: Even though not every phenotype made it to the finish line, that's exactly what a pheno hunt is about. Every plant tells a different story, and every run teaches something new. Some phenos exceeded my expectations, while others showed weaknesses under the exact same conditions. Now the focus shifts to the final harvests, drying, curing, and, of course, the smoke test. MAY 20TH - TODAY is the first day the plants wake up from their 18/6 cycle down from 2 weeks at 20/4. They got their first SCHWAZZE and shaping at this stage getting them ready to grow into the beautiful sea of green each of these beds are to become. The uniformity of the clones reminds me how much of this has become muscle memory to me, From doing thousands of plants per grow this has become second nature for me. Only running 1 Thin Mint x Cookies + Cream its front left in the tent, great internodal spacing came highly recommended. Switching to Bloom nutrients, two part Cropsalt. Irrigation frequency will be adjusted as flower development drastically increases over the next two weeks.

this week is going really good! I am flushing right now with just plain water. I was supposed to harvest but I decided to give it another watering since the ppm values were the maximum recommended for harvest and I want as less fertilizer in my buds as possible😁 next time I'll water I'll give them 4/5 liters per plant and when the soil is kinda moist and about to dry I will give them 24 hrs of darkness to increase resin and then FINALLY chop everything off! I'm really excited to try them! they smell really amazing.

The germination i forgot to take pictures so i just have a video of the first 3 strains i started before the other seeds arrived. I used the same metod for all of them 24h in the glass of water after that 48h in the cotton pads in the zip lock bag with 3 sprays of water on the cotton pads and 1 spray when inside the zip lock bag is closed untill 80% leaving a small gap for them to breath. I decided to plant them after that in the final resting pot for this strain in a 5 gallon fabric pot. I used the following media on the bottom of the fabric pot i used 10% of Goldlabel HydroCorn after filled up with Ecothirve coco (70% coco 30% perelite) and i made a hole for my potting soil where i used Advanced Nutrients coco cultivator (50% coco 30% perelite 20% pebbles) and i mixed on the media some Azos , Mykos and Great white shark The light schedule for the first 5 days was 24/0 Just water the plants on the 15/06 i think all my seedlings are stuned because my light is too strong for them and the light is dimed to 25%. And my light meter for lux is saying i have 8600Lux converted is 148 and my DLI on the meter from the phone is saying 150 so its 3x times more the recomended i just dont understand if this phone app is working correctly. So i have decided to put one more seed directly on the soil beacuse they look the most stunned of them all on the 14/06 still didn t germinate i will keep the one is gonna grow stronger thats why there is the dome. Update on the order from spider farmer from Ebay (Order the item on a thursday and the order was not updated on ebay on the following Monday so decided to contact them to understand when i am gonna receive my order i was told true ebay that my item as been shipped and i will receive an update within 1 hour to tell what time the item will be delivered. So never received any message giving me time slot delivery. Never received the item and at 21pm the tracking updeted on Ebay saying delivered so i contected them next day to be told that the courrier actually lost my order and that they will reshippe the order again but was told i need to wait 2 buiness days for the warehouse to processe my order beacuse they are busy what i replied that why should be me the costumer that needs to wait 5 or 6 more days for the order to arrive to me that they should send me the item on the same day and send me with one day delivery. The ansewer was they could not do it so i cancell the order asked for a refund and never more use their products appailing costumer service)

The smaller Potter or extra Gorilla Glue from AMS is doing okay. Still battling a magnesium deficiency I have not stop. This time was from ph dropping. I was unable to care for them for a few days right. They got too dry, and salts cause ph to fall. I tend to feed heavy, but stay well irrigated. She is still growing decent with the Spider Farmer G3000 light. She should be back on track now again. Plus she is now in a bigger Potter. Still small, but bigger. Hopefully she can keep up some with the other Gorilla Glue in there in size enough to not get beat out in light. Thinking ahead for flowering. Everything looks good to go now.
