Topping didnt seem to stunt the grow. On Day 15, i added some training stakes. This being my 2nd grow overall, i couldve done way better there, as youll see in the coming weeks. Plant A has had one Sidenode growing faster than the opposing one and it led to a bit of asymmetrical grow, though thats my mistake, not the BPPs. also, for future grows, i'd train the top nodes down even further, as they would soon overtake the other ones. I planned to have 4 main stems but ended up with a weird 2-2 hybrid, lol. But oh well! you live and learn haha. i ramped up the ppfd to around 500. Again, they probably couldve easily taken more. i watered 1.5 Liters on Day 15 - Giving 2.5 ml/L of rootjuice this time and ramping up biogrow to 2 ml/L. This was the first time i had a little bit of runoff to measure the drain ph, which was 5.9 and 5.7 respectively, quite ok, but a tad on the low end for my taste, so for future waterings i reminded myself to give slightly higher input ph.

6/13 - It's the beginning of week 3 and 2 of my 3 Jack Herers are suffering from Zinc deficiency. I noticed this yesterday and believe this is a root issue and not a pH issue. They have most likely outgrown these little 4 inch nursery pots and used up all the nutrients in the soil. I'm about a week late in transplanting them as is. I was going to do it last week, but my schedule got thrown off. I knew I would have to leave them in a bit longer so I gave them a very light feeding last week as I was afraid to burn them. However, it turns out for these two, it most likely wasn't enough. I will be transplanting them into 1 gal pots tomorrow with brand new Roots Organic original soil amended with Roots Organics Uprising Foundation. That should take care of any issues. 6/15 - Transplanted all three Jacks into 1 gallon pots. I started with Roots Organics Original soil then added some Oregonism XL to the root ball and a good amount inside of the hole before planting. Then, I top dressed all with some Uprising Foundation also by Roots Organics. . For gnat prevention, I used Bti (Bacillus thuringiensis) aka mosquito bits. I also added some Uprising Grow, as a dry amendment to the one plant that were showing deficiencies for a little extra boost going forward. Finally, I watered everyone with compost tea that I brewed for 18 hrs. They are already looking stronger and healthier.

Week 16 Day 109 and 62 in Flower today 😍 Their Mama went into dark on Day 62 of Flower, so I checked their trichomes today. They all look nearly finished, at least the top buds are all good to go. I will wait another day or two and then they will go into darkness. Next weekend will be a good time to harvest yeay ☀️ They have been fed a little water every two days for the last couple of days. Humidity has dropped quite a bit in the tent but it's still hot. Luckily temperatures are going down a little bit. Well, another week has passed and it has been growing not exactly as I expected, but they warned me about using only base fertilizers with an inert soil and a higher ambient temperature, I could have a not so good result, well, it's one more experience and I liked it and let's see how it will be until the end of the cycle because the next one I already ordered a starter kit from the advanced nutrients line! The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. Lost a branch end with 3 nodes accidentally whilst tucking away so now I'm super careful. The Sativa dominant strain is stretching nicely and bends easily. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. Unas puntas amarillas en las hojas recién salidas, pero no suigio avanzando despues de echarle top blom, supongo que seria alguna carencia que justo el top blom me lo a dado. perfecto todo, cada 2 dias 200ml de agua con solución a cada planta. Todo en un armario de 60 x 60 x 140, espero no tener problemas de espacio.

It was a busy week full of events. I got them a 600 watts HPS light and microbes to help them grow faster. I finally started the trellis netting to even the canopy and get more from the lights and I also spray the plants again for bugs. I found out that I've been using powder nutrients on my reservoir and that's probably why I've been getting floods two or tree times a week and now the valve is open only when I'm there, because I'm sick of cleaning and I took that little sick plant out. My cats have her now.
