Smoothie seems to have quit growing in height and are budding out. Pineapple Express seems to keep growing and bushing out, slow to flower. Sweet gelato is bushing out and began budding this week.

Umm—- well I thought this week might be the last, but based on the mid to lower trichome reading—- I have at least 2 more weeks! I was pushing this lady hard for an auto and the leaf yellowing is becoming evident. Maybe some flushing coming up. ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Week 7 let's go ! Day 152 - 04/11 : The plant symptoms have seemed to slow down. The soil is also starting to dry out a bit more which might have been a problem. Day 155 - 07/11 : She was flushed in the morning with about 4L of water and 2L of a 30% strength microbial+trichoderma tea to innocculate the soil in case the microlife took a hit. The run off was 1L. I also switched the 400W MH for a 400W HPS to finish off with a little extra boost of light + different spectrum and see if it makes any differences. The light were moved up by approximately 20-30cm. They are now at about 70cm from the plant. I wondered if the light were maybe too close and caused all those strange symptoms. Let's see if there is any change in their behaviour. Day 156 - 08/11 : It seems the plant is a lot happier. It has only been a day but I feel like she is fattening up faster suddenly. Or it could be that she has recovered from the slight chock from a few days ago. Day 158 - 10/11 : Yep she is definitely happy again. I am convinced it was the light or at least it was part of the problem, I am seeing a lot of growth all of a sudden, on all plants and not just this one. Trichome are up, pistilles are up, calyxes swelling, everything is running smooth again. She is looking ready already, from a bud general appearance I could almost harvest now, but the trichomes are still mostly clear and I have a feeling she has a little more in her. I suspect the reason for such large amount of already brown trichomes might have been the light excess they went through.

12/04 - Gonna do a flush. I think I let the plants sit in the runoff too long after watering last time. Have a little yellowing on some of the leaves. 12/05 - Decided not to flush. I pH the soil at 5.8. Gonna raise it a bit and I cut out the veg nutes and cut the flowering nutes in half. Used some Germ Genie which is essentially kelp to see if the issue was just nute burn or potassium. pH the water to 6.8. 12/06 - Looking healthy today. Fan Leaves are really stretching for the light. 12/07 - Plants are starting to bud up and fill in those pistils. 12/08 - Watered the girls with just Bloom. 12/09 - Out of Town 12/10 -Looking Frosty!

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Topped this girl this week. Growing pretty good so far. I’ll be potting up to 3 gal pots next week sometime. I also have a Bison Brew that I’ll be using sometime after transplant.

Kong was an absolute trooper I have to cut her a few weeks early due to budworm causing bud rot. I will be trimming her down washing after removing infected areas. I hope i can save some of the fruits. After 6 hours i have 750g of flower washed and drying. Any buds that where on the same stem as the bud rot have been placed at the bottom of the drying wrack just in case the peroxide doesn’t work

Just coming to the end of week 7 she’s had 8 days of flush an 24 hours of darkness an she’s been chopped just waiting on her to dry an cure abit before I smoke her an let everyone know how she smokes had fun growing this photo period as it’s my first also only 3rd ever plant I’ve grown taking that into account looking at the final result is uplifting to say at the least an has give me the motivation an carry on an push my new found passion further thanks everyone who helped me along answering questions love this friendly bud community!!!💚🍁

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

The offset comes from an early, photo-heavy germination phase. We’ll continue clarifying this weekly for consistency. ⸻ 🌱 Growth Overview – Divergence & Character This week, the Nectar Drip really began to separate into personalities. Same genetics, same room, same feeding — but very different expressions depending on training intensity and structure guidance. We’re now clearly working with multiple plant strategies inside the same tent. ⸻ ✂️ Training Breakdown – Plant by Plant 🌿 Plant A – Leaf Work & Gentle Guidance This plant is trained using leaf bending and leaf tucking only. • Large fan leaves are tucked under neighboring leaves • Growth tips are exposed naturally • No clamps or hard bending Response: Absolutely thriving. She’s growing tall, wide, and fast, now reaching roughly 8–9 nodes, with beautiful branching and strong vertical momentum. This is a great example of how far simple leaf management can take a healthy plant. ⸻ 🌿 Plant B – Aggressive Opening with Plastic Clamps This plant started similarly to Plant A, but quickly outpaced the rest in size. This week, we: • Introduced plastic clamps • Opened her aggressively • Focused on redistributing energy from top dominance to lower branches Response: Outstanding. She accepted the harder intervention without stress, opened up beautifully, and continues to push growth across the canopy. Her size advantage is now being converted into structure, not just height. ⸻ 🌿 Plant C – The Heavy LST Experiment This is the plant we’ve been focusing on since last week — the smallest of the group, but the one receiving the most intensive training. • Strong horizontal bending • Continuous opening of leaves • Structural redirection from early on Response: She’s thickening, branching, and responding incredibly well. While she is still behind in height (which is expected), she’s building a dense, intentional structure. This plant is also the most delayed in showing pre-flower signs, which is completely normal under 12/12 from seed when subjected to stronger training. She may never be the tallest — but she is quickly becoming one of the most interesting. ⸻ 🌸 Pre-Flower Signals Some plants are now showing early pre-flower signs. Nothing dramatic yet, but the transition is clearly approaching. As expected: • The most heavily trained plant is the most delayed • The more upright plants are moving faster This confirms that structure and stress management play a significant role in timing under a 12/12-from-seed regimen. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment – Weather-Driven Adjustments This week brought real-world challenges. Outside conditions: • ~5 °C • 92% relative humidity Inside the tent: • Temperature: ~21.8 °C • Relative Humidity: ~58% Despite cooler and more humid ambient conditions, the plants are showing no complaints whatsoever. This range is manageable, and the canopy looks relaxed and happy. ⸻ 💡 Lighting – Letting Plants Decide We are now running approximately 700–850 PPFD, depending on plant height and canopy position. Smaller plants receive less, taller ones naturally receive more. This is intentional. The plants are: • growing into the light • dictating their own intensity • transitioning naturally toward flowering I’m not pushing — I’m responding. This run is about listening, especially under 12/12 from seed. ⸻ 🌬️ Airflow – Vortex Method Airflow is dialed in using a vortex-style circulation: • Fresh air enters from below • Warm air exits higher up • Side fans encourage circular movement • Central fans gently disrupt stagnation without collapsing the vortex This creates: • even temperature distribution • stable humidity • strong gas exchange • minimal microclimates Air is moving around the plants, not blasting them — exactly what we want at this stage. ⸻ Nutrition – Adjustment for Water Quality & LEDs 💧 Water Source We are now using a mix of: • rainwater • dehumidifier-collected water Starting EC is extremely low (~0.2), so supplementation became necessary. CalMag Introduction We introduced Plagron CalMag Pro at 1 ml/L as a preventive measure, especially important under high-intensity LED lighting, where calcium and magnesium demand increases. Current Hand-Watering Parameters (Nectar Drip Plants) • EC: ~2.29 • pH: ~6.0 • Water Temperature: ~22.8 °C 🚰 Reservoir / Autopot Clarification The tent contains six plants total, not all Nectar Drip. • Autopot reservoir currently runs Terra Grow + CalMag only • Organic inputs are excluded from the reservoir (not compatible) • Reservoir EC: ~1.43 • Reservoir pH: ~5.9 Autopot plants are occasionally top-fed by hand to receive the full recipe.
