Day 30 of flower; I raised her pot about 30 cm to get closer to the light and to prevent her younger tall neighbours from over-growing her. She's packed with deliciously smelling, very sticky buds. This is a true queen! One of the better, if not the best, smelling plant I've grown. Can't wait to try her. She'll be ready soon. 😊

Introduction - Week 09 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 100906.68, Overall a pretty good grow week! Started the week off by increasing the light's intensity. Also raised it up a bit. Most of the week was basic growth checkups and humidifier refilling. Mid week, increased the light's intensity a bit more. Also did a top soil drench of organic fertilizer along with a simple defoliation. Towards the end of the week, decided to give both girls a large bottom watering. Also did a mini defoliation again. Now that both reservoirs are full with about 2 gallons, shouldn't need to water for a while. Next week will be the big 12/12 flip! Steady as she grows Ensign. A bit of yellowing is still developing on the lower leaves. --- Regardless, canopy growth is still spreading out quite nicely! --- With this being the last week of 18/6 veg, these girls are bushing out quite nicely! --- After flipping the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12, some cannabis plants will double in size. --- Starting to get a bit nervous (well more stoked than nervous) about the growth spurt these ladies may undergo (also known as the 'stretch phase'). - [16:19]: Took PPFD readings. --- EB1 was around 476 μmol/m2/s which gives a DLI of 30.84 mol/m2/d --- EB2 was around 449 μmol/m2/s which gives a DLI of 29.1 mol/m2/d --- Decided to increase the intensity of the grow light. Yet the Ecowitt sensors have not really changed much at all. - [17:09]: Rotated both EarthBoxes 180 degrees. --- Checked the fill tube for each EarthBox. --- Both fill tubes are now pretty dry! --- With the current soil moisture levels, decided to continue on with the top soil drenching. --- Don't frack this up Ensign! - [17:21]: Filled a pitcher with 5 cups of distilled water. --- Then filled a measuring cup with 2 cups of distilled water. --- Added 1/32tsp + 1/64tsp + Half 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract --- Added 1/16tsp + 1/32tsp + 1/64tsp of: ------ Horticultural Aloe ------ Big 6 Micronutrients [+ Humic Acid] --- Added 1/8tsp + 1/16tsp + 1/32tsp of: ------ Mycrobe Complete ------ Recharge --- Added 1/4tsp + 1/8tsp + 1/16tsp of: ------ Pure Protein Dry [Organic Fish Aminos] --- Added 2mL of Bio-Catalyst Enzyme Elixer --- Added 5.25mL of Yah-Whey --- Mixed the solution and poured everything straight into the pitcher to mix with the 5 cups of distilled water from earlier (now 7 cups). --- Poured 3.5 cups of the mixed solution into a spray bottle. - [17:54]: Rotated the EarthBoxes 90 degrees. EB2 is now facing the front. --- Before watering, going to defoliate a bit. - [17:58]: Using a pair of trimmers, I gently clipped away lower yellowing leaves. --- Removed a few of the larger fan leaves which were covering top sites. --- To help to further promote top growth, also removed more lower nodes. --- Time to top soil drench! --- Also going to top dress a bit of gnarly barley! - [18:27]: Gently removed the rear moisture meter before pealing back the plastic much cover. --- Now for the top dressing. - [18:30]: Sprinkled 1/4cup of Gnarly Barley onto the top soil. --- Tried to stay towards the back. --- Using my fingers, I gently tilled the topdressing into the top soil. --- Also tried to work in all of the trimmings from the defoliation. - [18:42]: Misted the top soil for EB2. --- Made sure to spray the area with the Grow Dots, but did not spray the grow bag. --- Sprayed the whole top soil, but focused more on the back area. --- Placed the mulch cover back along with the rear moisture sensor. - [18:59]: Rotated the EarthBoxes 180 degrees. --- Now for EB1, --- Using a pair of trimmers, I gently clipped away yellowing leaves. --- Also removed the larger fan leaves covering top sites. - [19:20]: Gently removed the rear moisture meter. --- Then pealed back the plastic much cover. - [19:24]: Sprinkled 1/4cup of Gnarly Barley onto the top soil. --- Again, tried to stay towards the back. Going to attempt a large bottom watering. --- Before I water, going to defoliate a bit more. - [21:38]: Using a pair of trimmers, I defoliated both girls. --- Clipped off a few of the larger fan leaves that were covering tops. --- Overall, did not defoliate much. Less than a solo cup of leaves. --- Mainly focused on yellowing or damaged growth. --- Tucked the trimmings under the mulch covers. - [22:03]: Rotated the EarthBoxes 180 degrees. --- Okay! Time to give this a go! --- Going to give each EarthBox a full 2 gallons of distilled water. --- Going to also add some probiotics and beneficial anaerobic microbes. --- Don't frack this up Ensign. --- Okay! Starting with EB2, - [22:15]: Poured 2 cups out of one of the gallons into a measuring cup. --- Added 60mL (2oz) of Yah-Whey. --- Mixed and poured the solution straight into the fill tube. --- Then poured the rest of the gallon along with another full gallon of distilled water into the fill tube. - [22:27]: Repeated the exact same process with EB1. --- Poured 2 gallons of distilled water along with 60mL of Yah-Whey into the reservoir. --- Great! Now both EarthBoxes are the fullest they have ever been. - [22:36]: Rotated the EarthBoxes back to the default configuration. --- Oops. Some water did spill out while rotating the EarthBoxes. --- Next time, will wait a bit longer for the water to soak in first. --- Refilled the humidifier with distilled water and Hydrogen Peroxide (~20mL). Nice! - [21:27]: Took end of week height readings. --- EB1 is about 18.5" tall. --- EB2 is about 16.5" tall. --- EB1 was about 16" away from the grow light. --- EB2 was about 18" away from the grow light. --- Growth is taller for both, but overall still about the same height. --- But lots of lower growth so not too worried. --- Refilled the humidifier with distilled water and Hydrogen Peroxide (~20mL). --- Wow what a week! --- Next week begins the flip to a 12/12 light cycle. --- Curious to see if these girls will stretch or not. Elegance in Bloom 🔥🍪🌸 My second Red Hot Cookies has officially entered Week 2 of bloom, and she’s already proving to be a real gem on the balcony. Compared to her taller sister, she may have started more compact and controlled, but now she’s stretching gracefully, stacking sites, and presenting all the traits I love about this strain. Her structure is even and balanced, and her leaves carry that deep, lush green that signals health and vitality. 🌿 She took well to her training earlier on, and now in flower she’s rewarding that work with a broad, light-friendly canopy. The pistils are starting to push through in abundance, promising a fine display of frosty bud sites in the weeks ahead. Watching her transition into full bloom is a joy—there’s something magical about this stage where the energy shifts from pure growth into pure production. ✨ Feeding & Environment Notes for the Week: 🔸 BioBizz Grow – 3 ml/L 🔸 BioBizz Bloom – 2 ml/L 🔸 BioBizz TopMax – 1 ml/L 🔸 CalMag – 0.5 ml/L steady to support strong cell walls 🔸 Dechlorinated tap water for all mixes 🔸 pH: 6.1 🔸 EC: 1.8 mS/cm So far, she’s responded beautifully to the transition. Week 5 Flower — Sundae Driver Five weeks from seed, Week 5 of flower. The girls are tall, frosty, and carrying real weight. Supercrop results are showing: the knuckle site on the main top is packing beautifully and producing extra fruit around the bend. Photo sessions continue while they’re still mobile, but they’re quickly approaching the point where moving them will be risky. ⸻ From seed to here — short recap • Very short veg, early flip (11/13) to encourage a quick transition. • Strong genetics: both phenos established great branching early and then stretched in flower. • Early training: leaf-tucking and one deliberate supercrop on Pheno #2 to control a “moon-shot” top, the plant has recovered and is producing strong bud sites. • Feed strategy evolved from light steering (low solution EC) while relying on the active living soil, to a slightly stronger, targeted push now that the plants are bulk-building. ⸻ This week’s snapshot (numbers you gave) • Solution EC: ~1.78 mS/cm (after adding All-in-One Liquid) • Solution pH: ~5.87 • Water temperature: ~19.6 °C • Substrate EC (measured): ~5.75 mS/cm • Plants: ~heavy, visibly bulking, good frost and early trichome coverage; leaves lush and green. ⸻ Nutrition this week — what you added and why You’ve blended the Aptus baseline with the Plagron bloom stack and added the All-in-One Liquid this week to “boost things up a little.” The working recipe (as you’ve been using it) is: • Plagron Power Buds / Power products — PK and bloom stimulators to push flower initiation and fruit set. • Plagron Green Sensation — complex bloom stimulator (PK, micros, and biostimulants) to compact and feed flowers. • Plagron Sugar (Sugar Royal / Sugar Oil) — carbohydrate/amino support to feed microbes, aid terpene/aroma production and increase bud sugar availability. • Aptus Regulator — stress resistance, cell wall strength, improved uptake. • Aptus CalMag Boost — to prevent Ca/Mg shortages under heavier uptake. • Aptus All-in-One Liquid (added this week) — a balanced liquid feed to raise available macros and micros slightly and bring the solution EC up to ~1.78. Why this mix now: the plants are in active “bulk and stack” mode. The living soil is still providing a heavy base (substrate EC is high at ~5.75), so the water feed is being used as a steering input rather than the sole nutrient source. The Plagron items are targeted to maximize flower growth and aroma development while Aptus products protect tissue integrity and uptake efficiency under higher demand. ⸻ Soil & EC notes — some important observations • Substrate EC 5.75 is high. If the plants are clean (no tip-burn, no slowed uptake, good turgor), and runoff/pH are stable, you can continue carefully. The living soil is likely holding a lot of available ions. • Solution EC 1.78 is a meaningful step up from the earlier very-low steering feeds. Because the substrate is already rich, keep monitoring plant response closely. • Actionable checks: measure runoff EC and pH after a couple of normal waterings. If runoff EC is very high and plants start showing nutrient burn/leaf edge bronzing, consider: • reducing solution EC, and/or • performing a controlled flush with target pH water to bring substrate salts down, then back to a gentler feed. • If plants remain clean and uptake is quick, the current regime is probably supporting their needs as they bulk. ⸻ Watering & environment (practical reminders) • Keep using your moisture cues (weight or probe). Don’t overwater — allow the root zone to breathe between feeds so the microbiome stays active. • Heavy bud development brings higher transpiration and nutrient demand. Expect faster run-to-run uptake. • Support heavy colas: start planning stakes, soft ties or a light trellis now. Buds are forming weight quickly and the supercropped area can benefit from light support as it fattens. ⸻ Supercrop update — why it worked and what you saw • The deliberate bend on Pheno #2 created the classic healing “knuckle” and redirected auxins to many lateral sites. • Response: a fast curve-up, faster side-site development, and an especially productive top where the bend is located. • Recovery timeline you reported: the branch started to re-orient and carry load in just days — this is ideal. • Keep an eye on the knuckle site for any signs of localized stress or moisture build-up, but good airflow and light will reduce issues. ⸻ What to expect next (and what not to expect) Expect: • Continued bulking and calyx swelling over the next 1–3 weeks. Flower stacking accelerates as plants move past the stretch. • Increased trichome production and stronger terpenes/aroma as sugars and PK feed the resin pathway. • Faster water uptake and higher potassium/magnesium demand under heavy LEDs. • Need for physical support as colas get heavy. Don’t expect (yet): • Final resin peak or full density — that usually shows from mid to late flower (weeks 6–9+ depending on strain). • Large changes overnight — bud density and terpene maturation are gradual. • No problems automatically — a high substrate EC means vigilance; problems show first in lower leaves. ⸻ Practical tips & checklist for Week 6 planning • Measure runoff EC & pH. Log changes. If runoff EC substrate EC and plant symptoms appear, step in with a mild flush and a gentler feed after. • Keep airflow and RH optimized around flowers: small increases in RH can invite mold as buds thicken. Das Fimmen hat wie erwünscht sein Ergebnis gezeigt. Habe bis auf die untersten 2 Arme, alle erneut gefimmt. Das Gewächshaus 12m2 soll in den nächsten 10 Tagen ankommen. Die Damen werden dann Anfang Juli ins Gewächshaus wandern und Ende Juli mit einer Plane ab 17/18 Uhr abends abgedeckt um die Blüte frühzeitig einzuleiten. Happy growing;)

Around 500-700ml water a day. 10-19 Some burn, so I ran some runoff, yep burn! 1200 ppm now 400. 😱 Well 2 weeks from here 🤣 or so. 10-20 Nothing changed. .

One of 4 strains grown together in 0.36m² using Migro Array 2 (125W). Variable dimming: W1 60%/24h, W2-10-11-12 60%/20h, W3-5-8-9-13 80%/20h, W6-7 100%/20h. Average real consumption: 95W with 173.6 kWh total. STRAIN: Divine Seeds genetics - underrated breeders producing excellent quality! NUTRIENTS: Full Biotabs bacterial line - positively surprised by the results! Organic living soil approach. GROWING APPROACH: Focused on DLI (calculated from Migro’s PAR map), VPD, water temperature, and water resting time. Did NOT monitor pH, EC, CO₂, or use PAR meter. MY BEST HARVEST SO FAR! 🏆 COLLECTIVE METRICS (4 plants total): • Total dry weight: 210g (+ 10g bubble hash) • Total wet weight: 890g • g/watt: 2.21 (or 2.31 with hash) • g/m²: 583 (or 611 with hash) • Average per plant: 52.5g Individual weights: Fractal 55g, Northern Lights 54g, Black Opium 67g (best performer!), Moon Rock 34g. Dense and resinous buds. Additionally grew 3 outdoor plants (Fractal #2: 21g + 60g frozen, Northern Lights #2: 14g + frozen, Black Opium #2: 50g fresh frozen) - not included. ~300g frozen trim (indoor+outdoor) yielded ~10g bubble hash. As I did the flushing in day 70 I was watching the trichomes and on day 87 I could see 25-35% amber so I decided to cut it. I cut the whole plant on the base and hang the whole plant to dry. For this reason I will update my findings later when it gets dry and trimmed about yield and numbers. So far really happy with the results. It will probably be the champs of this run yielding nicely 👍🏼.

GMO (Garlic mushroom onion) was slow to flower but came on strong weeks 8 and 9 to produce some dense heavy sticky buds. The dry weight of the plant material is unsure, but I’ll report the weight of various bubble microns when dry. Pictures of the dry bubble and maybe a melt shot impending! To dry, I decided to microplane into pizza boxes lined with parchment. It’s been fun growing along with everyone on grow diaries. Awesome

Day 79 (First Grow, Flowering Phase): Hey everyone! It's the start of a new week, and we're now on day 79 of our first grow. The flowering phase is progressing beautifully, with the buds getting bigger and frostier day by day. 🌸✨ We've started to see the formation of orange hairs, which is a promising sign of the buds maturing. The plants are looking healthy and vibrant, and the SCROG net is helping to keep everything well-supported and evenly exposed to light. Humidity issues from last week are still being monitored, and we're considering adding a dehumidifier to ensure optimal conditions as we move closer to harvest. Eccoci qui... Tutto va per il meglio, questa settimana non ho applicato stress alla piccola, ma ho guardato l'evoluzione che ha avuto dando i nutrienti. Si è ripresa ormai dallo stress che ha avuto e sta spingendo. Ora ha un odore davvero intenso ed uno strato di resina pauroso, vediamo come si riprende dalla defogliazione che ho fatto settimana scorsa.
