Last Sunday I increased the nutes so that the ppm was on the higher level (600-625) as the feeding schedule showed. Dec 9th I started to see some lime green (video) leaves on new growth. The ppm would go up mostly & down slightly, but the lime green spread & eventually turned yellow (last pic from today). I did a water change the other day & lowered the ppm/nutes to around 575-580 range. I've been reading around that this might be a sulfur deficiency? Some suggested adding Cal-mag. Today I added 2 ml more of Cal-mag & snipped some of the darker fan leaves that had some damage. I ordered epsom salt, waiting for it to arrive (tomorrow). Any other suggestions/diagnoses are welcomed! 😊

I should have probably let the clones go bit longer and get better established roots before putting them into the DWC net pots.

Chopped down the large colas and threw the bottom buds in the freezer to be made into bubble hash this weekend. I will update more after drying. Update: 💨Puffed a couple joints and MY MY that is a tasty treat! Notes of 🍍pineapple and 🌺lavender. The high is very heady and spacey feeling yet pretty mellow compared to other sativas I enjoy. Insatiable munchies as well. You’ll be grazing all day long. Fantastic personal strain for recreational use outdoors.

The girls are ready soon! Leaves of the Royal Gorilla are completely yellow, don't know why but I think it's because it's time to harvest. Take a look at the trichomes, I'm waiting for a few more amber ones. How many days should I let them live? Hey all! 👋 This week is when most of my plants deficiencies started to show, specially on Matcha 😢so to try to fix this problem I decided to use Revive from Advanced Nutrients on both plants (there were some slight indications that Pistachio might be suffering from some of these issues as well) and since last time it worked amazingly well I just decided to do it... and it seems it did its magic! The changes started to become more obvious near the end of the week when finally Matcha started to grow, so I'm happy! Also, since Pistachio is growing well I decided to do some LST on her as well and she took it without problems 😍 I also believe this issue is a mix of nitrogen deficiency and magnesium (mostly this) and I suppose that's because of the heat that's inside the tent and because I'm feeding my plants with bottled water (different brand) that's probably low on that mineral. In my previous grow I used to add tap water to the mix but the water where I used to live was better so I fear that I might end doing more harm than good if I use this water to feed the plants 😵if the issues continues tho I'll get a bottle of Cal Mag and see if things improve. Week 5 looking very plentiful

Harvested around 1 week ago, slowly drying with around 22° and 60% humidity. N2 the frostiest from the start but no smell at all, another 2 are quite stinky. N3 got some nice colours .I definitely prefer Opium auto.

Day 43 - 1.3L water with half dose according to biobizz schedule + extra calmag (ph 6.3)(84 cm) Day 44 - 1L water with calmag (ph 6.4)(86 cm) Day 45 - 1L water with half dose according to biobizz schedule (ph 6.3)(88 cm) Day 46 - 1L water with calmag (ph 6.4)(88 cm) Day 47 - 1L water with half dose according to biobizz schedule, trimmed some lower branches, hope they finished growing in height (ph 6.3)(89 cm) Day 48 - 1L water with calmag (ph 6.5)(90 cm) Day 49 - 1L water with half dose according to biobizz schedule (ph 6.3)(91 cm) They don't have much more space to grow into, 30 cm from the lamp / tent's roof. Hopefully they are at the end of their stretch, might even give one away to make space inside the tent.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. -Decided to move the girls around, they were missing out on some AM sun and were blocking each other from direct sunlight. Thank god I had help because they were heavy! -Really had to tie them up as a ton of the branches started to break at the main stem as they were just getting too heavy. - BC2, and both WWs have visibly started to flower. Both Blue Cookies show very different phenos 1. -After a 1 week flush I started transitioning to flowering nutes, will go full strength next week. -Got rid of 1 caterpillar and put down some ant traps, the biggest pest is the planthoppers, I try and kill everyone I can see, but they keep coming back, there’s not a ton but they’re persistent. -Excited to see the weight these girls can pack on. Le démarrage à été houleux mais ça y est les deux plants ont enfin une jolie allure. 125ml*engraisser #11 08/10: c'est la première fois que j'intègre 50 pourcent de coco coir à mon substrat mal les apports en humus et en guano je doit quand même légèrement engraisser à chaque arrosage et arroser plus souvent mais gentillement biensur. Voilà mon constat de la semaine :D Topping à hauteur du premier noeuds en vue de tenter un main-lining sur le plus vigoureux des deux plants LaFantaLight, le second aura droit à un lst pour unifier la hauteur des deux plants qui sont sous les mêmes lampes.
