Week 12: Partial Harvest & Bruce's Final Stand Update: 10.08.2025 | Day 87 Big updates as predicted: I chopped two girls due to bad weather. Fear of big losses was bigger than my need to get to the max. Harvested Forbidden Runtz and Green Crack as they were almost fully ripe. 20% amber and 80% milky trichomes have to be good enough. Weather conditions were far from good - but both girls fought through it like Rocky. Great resilient genetics FastBuds. Hats off! Now let's come to our last survivor - Bruce Banner: Although trichomes are mostly cloudy with only scattered amber trichomes, there are still a lot of white pistils left in the budsites. She's still in bloom mode but resin isn't there like with my other two girls. Next days are forecasted with extremely hot weather (35°C again!) - hope this gives her the last kick. Next steps: - Keep her on the edge to use up all internal resources - Check for mold daily - Find the perfect chop moment I think the next update on this girl will be the harvest report, my friends. Lights flipped a week ago to 12/12.......typical flower. Stretch is starting this week now. Last week was marginal height growth. Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 1 again this week. Next week will move up the ppm more and start on bud enhancers. More microbes and sweetener this week. Silica ppm also increasing now as not looking to bend branches much more now. Have a hole in the canopy that I am just going to need to live with. GSCHB and MM2 did not growth as expected. One of the tarte tatins is getting too big, really. This requires me to raise all the other pots to try to keep the same height. That's the game...👌 I tell myself that I should have cut the apex of it, but I think it's too late now , what do you think? 🤔 ( currently on the 17th day of flowering) This week I'm adding my carbon filter to my extractor, to remove the smell of plants outside the tent I try to raise the plants to the same height with upside down plastic pots. I'm also trying to place a fan under the canopy this week but I'm going to remove it quickly, it takes up too much space Busy week in defoliation✂️ ------------------------------------------------------------ 💧Watering I water all my pots the same day but with more or less water. Simply by lifting them; A light pot is a dry pot and will need more water, A heavy pot is a wet pot and will need less water. On average I water each pot with: Day 36 : 0.75 Liters Day 40 : 0.75 L I use tap water, adjust the ph to around 6 and water 💧Spraying I mix a little black soap and neem oil in 1L of water and spray everything in the tent just before my lights go out, keeping any electrical appliances away while I spray. I try to soak all the plants. and I repeat this 2 times this week and the next before the buds appear. W16 - after a pretty hot week ESTHER shows some signs of existing on the dry side of her life. This made me concern about her well-being. Perhaps I slightly overlooked her recently in regards to watering. Nice weather ☀️ and beer gardens 🍻make me forget about her Also during a LST and my inattention, I damaged one of the branches 🙈 I taped it quickly to the main cola, thought that should help. After few days I removed the tape and check on it. By touching it I made it even worst. In the end, I remove the branch, cut off the loose end, and put it in the glass of water to prompt the plant to grow its roots. I don't have any idea what I am going to do with this... So after 4 months of quite smooth growing with a few bumps here and there, I had not the best week in the office 😕 I need a hug 😔

Gave her 100 ml of home made solution Ec 1.7 after a few days I repotted her and have not watered her since I will wait until the pot tells me to fed her next!

Last week of growing started, we will switch to flowering at the end of the week. Nothing special was done, simply water as all had seaweed and biogrow already, during flower we will only add some extra PK and some sugars and it should be more than enough!

I hope she’s done stretching because she’s back to being 8” from the light and I need to readjust the way I hung it if I will need to raise to it any further.. she’s drinking about 2 litres a day in total, thirsty bitch, will be increasing frequency to 3 feeds this week. Leaves look lovely, buds getting hairy, trichomes appearing. Now it’s just waiting for her to bulk up over the next month or so. I’m very proud of her structure. Not noticing a smell yet, growers nose, I know she smells. Pothead has taken to pruning very well. Working on her open cup structure, defoliating and getting fed with GP3 veg nutes. She’s a beautiful little mother and she’s enjoying hanging out with the family in the living room under a little qb. She’s exactly as I hoped she’d be. Very grateful this grow is working out for me. We did our crash course in experimenting and dialling in our grow last season and this grow is proving that we learned a lot and it was worthwhile.

WOW! They are getting so big. The biggest one has shown signs of preflower so I topped her. The other one is about 4 inches shorter and barely in preflower so I don't think I'll top her. I'm going to do a half dose of Veg Top dress and Bloom top dress as it has been a full 4 weeks in veg and I think I see a hint of N deficiency developing. I'll record it in next weeks info. Right now still just straight water into the self wayering pot reservior. I increased the light intensity to 70% also.
