Week 2 There has been an explosion of growth over the last week. I am amazed by how explosive it was. There are some nice bud sites forming as well. I did get a little bit of yellowing at the tops of a few fan leaves so I don’t think I will go quite as high feeding wise. I’ll go a 100ppm or so lower than what the feeding schedule recommends. I had a bit of an accident though. I was doing a little LST and I snapped a top clean of 🤦‍♂️ So now I am down to 15 tops, doh! Cooler internals for the week were: 6.0 pH 420 ppm on the 500 scale 0.9 EC 66F water temp. I can’t wait to see what week three brings! Onward 😎🍻🌱

Week 5 for the Critical and Sour Ds and Week 4 for the Lemon Pie, Blackberry and Gorilla Zkittlez. Fed 2 tbl of Coast of Maine, Stonington Plant Food at the beginning of Week 5 and end of 4 for the younger plants.

After 11 weeks, I harvested the plants in two stages. It went faster than I thought, and the yields are impressive. The yields are much better for the four plants that I was able to keep shorter in height. They developed more dense, firm buds than the taller four plants, which is why I harvested them a few days later. I only watered with water during the last week and lowered the light to 600-700 ppfd. I'm drying now at 20 degrees Celsius and 55-60% relative humidity until the first stems snap, then the herb goes into hygrometer jars for curing. This time I trimmed wet because there were some really thick branches, and I didn't want to risk mold. All in all, it looks like a good harvest. I misjudged the height with this strain. I thought I could keep the plants relatively short by using topping and LST (low-stress training). This only worked for half of them. One of the plants was about 3 cm below the light, which is really suboptimal because I have no space above. I might have chosen a smaller pot size and swapped the plants' positions more often. I was also a bit too cautious with defoliation and pruning, but this was planned as an experiment to grow bushier plants, which didn't make me as happy in my application. Due to the high CO2 content, the cannabis grows exceptionally bushy and leafy. It requires regular pruning. The buds themselves have turned out really well. They are nice and firm, some quite large, and covered with many trichomes. The smell of the strain is less intense than I thought but still very pleasant.

First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. Spent eternity trimming! So this is why people call it trim jail. Yield: TM1: 205g Dry | 61g trim - Best growth and color, 7.2 oz yielder! TM2: 177.5g dry | 72.5g trim - Frosty and colorful fruity TM3: 154g dry | 67.2g trim - Even frostier than TM2 but no color more gas TM4: 71g dry | 33.6g trim - Super larfy, still decent taste TM5: 65.3g dry | 19.3g trim - Best Flavor, super gas and sweet Total: 672.8g dry (23.8 oz) | 253.6g trim (9 oz) Flavor is a gassy guava candy with sweet cake after tones. Frost and color is up there, structure is lacking in cola formation. There's a lot more popcorn nugs than hoped for. Definitely due to poor defoliation, lack of scrog, and late PK. Also Besides that, a 672.8g yield would be ~1g/watt - an ideal goal for any starting growers

Day one of week 7! Saturday 3rd Oct. Yay I made it to week 7!! First week of flower! Flipped the lights and the girls are getting their first 12 hours of darkness as I type. As soon as it’s lights go on I’m gonna get the next lot of nutes in as they seemed almost ready for a feed when I put them to bed. Getting a little nervous the temps are a still bit high as we go into flower but these girls seem hardy so staying positive! UPDATE: Day 2 of week 7, Sunday 4th Oct. Girls still looking strong and nutes gone in again today. Got a fan blowing onto the outside of my tent (which is helping lots) as the slightly lower humidity levels are really heating things up with the dehumidifier working harder inside the tent now, especially around watering time. Fan at full whack, if this doesn’t work I may have to get an intake fan but was trying to avoid extra costs. Keeping a close eye 👁️ UPDATE: Tuesday 6th October Day 4 of week 7 Nutes in again and a little more teasing with the LST to keep the girls low on the stretch. Think I found a little white hair 🤩🤩 (see pics).... It’s getting exciting.. 🤓 UPDATE: Thursday 8th October Day 6 of week 7 Ok great news today..
