Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Way to start the week more photos to come. Flushed using sledge hammer this week stretch has come to a complete stop and budding is in full force. The smell oh how can I describe but a sweet berry funk. They have taken very well to the fox farm nutes that I’ve been giving. Definitely some differences in 2 of four, DD1 and DD2 much more weight and little to no purple except for main stem and veins on existing leaves compared to DD3 and the runt DD4 buds are not as dense but man are they flying this deep lavender and purple. The smell from this girls is so sweet . Bud structure is different on the DD I’m guessing the sativa vs indica genetics are showing which are dominating the plants either way there is a wonderfully sweet aroma from all the plants. 4/19 I feed them more nutrients in a small attempt to see if I can push the nutes slightly past recommended levels, to date no signs of burn or build up ever so slight clawing of the fans but nothing I’m concerned about plants looking good.

Flowering day 3 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. P2 Vs P18: Last week I started using Rhino Skin, trying to help her with the fattening and strength of the main branches. The difference is not too high watching at the images, but they're fattening in a cool way. I think it's time to place some lower support for the branches to help them with the weight, as i've seen many diaries on where the central branch of the plant was totally broken by the middle due to the weight of the top branches, and i really don't want to see that happening on my AliceK... "Rhino Skin" PERSONAL CONCLUSION: I think that Rhino Skin is helping, as in my last Gorilla diary i didn't used it along growing stage, and with the AliceK. it's branches are fattening much more than Gorilla's & MoneyMaker's did without the RhinoS. support (Pot size is helping also). P8: Loving this distribution!!! -----WEEK SUMMARY----- One week more for loving this beautiful plant. I'm loving the easiness of growing an AliceK, this week she suffered low water times, at almost the end of the week. Till today i was watering once each 120 Hrs ±, but it isn't enough at time for the size of the plant, she's drinking much more water than in previous weeks, so from Day 47 i'm switching to a water cycle of 84 Hrs±. At last temperatures are giving us a breath, again 27~29ºc along day, with a constant fresh breeze that came from the Mediterranean sea (Shore is at about ± 150 m from my home). This is the last week that i'm going to use that GoPro position to record timelapses. From now on i will record from the middle of one of the walls to have a better view. I'm not using the mobile on the AK more as the field of view is too short at the distance i should place the phone, and it didn't cover all the plant. Hasta hoy he venido regando una vez cada 120 horas, pero esto ya no es suficiente para el tamaño de la planta, bebe mucho más que las semanas anteriores. Super solid canopy between these 2 ladies. Nice sea of colas brewing up. No vertical growth really to speak of. Just some flower mass. Very happy and healthy and looking very vibrant. Looking sexy in the garden lol. They got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up their treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as they are blooming strong now. Gotta keep those engines well fuelled. Response was stellar. Happy happy happy. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

The 2 Orange sherbet clones are powering on! #1 is going to really fill out the space In the flowering tent 🤩 she is going to go nuts in flowering stretch! #2 going great as well. Unfortunately I should have have replanted the clones earlier last week when photos were taken as they were very healthy. But after checking on them 1 night, came in next night to find I hadn't turned the pump back on! & Yeah the heat had gotten to them a bit, have been replanted into final homes, put into veg tent, the 2&3 stem clones have suffered & dying off. Obviously couldn't support all the growth of 2& 3 stems being a bit unhealthy. The single stem clones are all coming back to health. Had planned to grow 3 Afghan kush, which didn't germinate ( seeds mafia) , & thankfully I've got these 2 girls to put into flower in the next few weeks once the flowering run is done. Was supposed to have 4 plants ready to go in & replace the ones that get harvested , going to start some new FF strains.👍

Very good strain,very easy to grow

Che dire questa è veramente la bestia delle bestie di tutte le autofiorenti!!!! Si vede già che sarà veramente enorme più tardi, considerato mi trovo solo alla 3 settimana...le radici hanno oltrepassato addirittura il vaso in tessuto geotessile 😂 la innaffio due volto al giorno in modo da tenere il substrato sempre umido al punto giusto, (non metto mai più di 200 ml di soluzione....ma lo faccio due volte al giorno)... Ha reagito benissimo ai 3 tagli di fila e si è appena ripresa del tutto, anzi in realtà non si è mai rallentata! Questa varietà di fast buds fa veramente paura! È la più grande tra tutte ora in grow, e mi sta regalando molte, molte soddisfazioni! Quando vedi un seme diventare così grande in solo 3 settimane ti rendi conto che la banca semi produce dei semi di qualità premium pro! Tasso di germinabilità 100% (non ho mai fallito un seme) e questo e veramente tutto, ma poi... vogliamo parlare della stabilità della genetica?!? Parleremo alla fine quando questo diario sarà al culmine della sua bellezza!
