This is a pheno hunt grow you don't want to miss

Today the wedding cake was harvested. It smelled strongly floral and only slightly citrusy. It is dried in dryferm bags. Let's see if they're any good. I will report.

Outdoors........time passes slowly.... Tropical weather here, this week. Hot morning, evening storms , cooler nights, high humidity, wind. What else? No problems to report, fantastic grow, girls full of life. Lots of work to bend and rearrange plant's shape every day, sometimes twice a day. Defoliation. Plant is responding fantastically. Special Kush #1 is now in the last days of crazy-stretch phase, is a big plant so I had to move the main top forward again to the opposite point of the perimeter in order to lower the line and give light in the middle.

10/01: They are growing fine and seem happy. I plan to swap out the water, defoliate and switch the lights to 12/12 this weekend. I will be removing an hour of light each day leading up until the weekend.

11/17 Week 10 Ripley - Starting her on the Soul Peak very soon, low dose 5ml see how she takes it will reduce CocoTek on just her by 3ml/gal at that dose. Keep defoliating her gently, dozen of so leaves every day or so just to keep buds open to light. No visible problems Tara - The Beast - Ok now it officially the largest plant we have grown to date. With the pot its hitting 4 ft 8 in without 3 ft 2 in. The stretch has finally slowed to a stop and buds are beginning to quickly build... thank you God. I was really wondering what I was going to do next. Am going to have to bind her up a bit just for support tomorrow as those buds get heavy and she needs to give Ripley some room. Also cleaning the heck out of the lower end tomorrow. Keeping her CocoTek at current level with a Cal-Mag foliar every few days 1/19 Foliar Cal-Mag feed on Tara Cleaned out the bottom of Tara, first pass at least see how it turns out. Decided to put Tara on the same feed as Ripley see what happens as Ripley is building buds faster with the PK cant say that would hurt Tara, No def so may as well May be early but heck what do I know, on new ground here 1/20 So far so good, cleaned up Tara a bit and bound her up to give support and room for Ripley. Buds building nicely crap load of them Ripley doing well in the pK so will continue her protocol by slowly reducing CT and inc PK 1/21 Noticing some mag def on Tara and random Ca spots so getting a dose of Cal-Mag 3ml/gal as well as the foliar. 1/22 3ml/gal CalMag added to Tara feed reduced CT 2ml/gal Ripley on 5ml/gal CocoTek AB and 10ml/gal Peak getting her ready for flush 1/23 Going to try alternating between adding 3ml Cal-Mag to Tara's feed and foliar with same. Not a bad Mg problem but obviously one I cant ignore given its Ca as well. Ripley on 6.1 Water and 15ml/gal Peak one more day then flushing to start week 11

03.07. Girl Scout Cookies Day 69# Nothing special is happening, it's been 4 days since the last update, I was a little late last time, so here I am so I won't be late again. Tomorrow is the end of the tenth week for the plants, this morning I fed them, before that I gave them only water for 2 waterings, that is, they were in water for a whole week. It's hot right now and I'm watering them every 3 days, this morning they each got 30+ liters, anyway, except for the ones in smaller pots, they got a lot less.

Week 3 flowering some flowering quicker then others which is expected as its about 15 different fire strains I have had to show my diaries in 3 parts this is my inhouse gentics I am so glad to finally get my hands on these , I'm pheno hunting a massive summer run with some fire gentics. I have inhouse 2x platinum gushers 2x terples 1x dolato s1 1x slurmint All from seed so hopefully I find a nice pheno I also have seedsman 2x strawberry banana grape which are both the biggest in tent 2 x peyote gorrilla 2 x wedding cake limited editions . Most growers run 12/12 — and while that’s great for many strains, we’ve chosen 11/13 for a specific reason: 🌒 Shortening the light period can help trigger earlier flowering and more aggressive hormonal shifts, particularly in sativa-dominant or haze genetics like these. 🌘 In nature, light hours gradually decrease, and this slightly shorter photoperiod mimics late-season sun, signaling to the plant that it’s time to reproduce. In our experience, this encourages a quicker transition into flower, sometimes with denser stacking and better resin development down the line. The trade-off? Slightly less daily photosynthesis, but with the right lighting power and nutrition, it more than balances out. ⸻ Nutrient Shift – From Start to Top As we flip into flower, we’ve also transitioned our nutrient formula to support the shift in energy: • Removed: • Aptus Start Booster – previously used to support early-stage root development and vegetative vigor. • Introduced: • Aptus Top Booster – same application rate (0.25 ml/L), but designed to stimulate early flower development, improve transition timing, and lay the groundwork for bloom stacking. Why this change? Because the hormonal shift has begun. We’re no longer supporting root initiation, now we’re priming the plant for floral identity, helping her internal systems prepare for the stretch, calyx development, and bloom site stacking. 10/5: Comparing photos from the beginning of last week and today, it was pretty decent growth. If they were stunted from being in the temporary grow bags for too long, it wasn't too badly. --Blackberry I (I call her Halle), is really purpling up well, and looking like she'll be a single uber-phat cola...no branching at all..whereas her sister is all about the branches. --Wedding Cheesecakes are consistently big and vigorous. They'll probably be the best producers of the crop. --Orange Sherbets look like clones they are so consistent in shape and leaf structures. Kinda short compared to the other varieties, but nice and bushy. --Gorilla Cookies are also identical in plant shape, but two of them are a few days ahead of the other as far as pistil production goes. Also not a very tall cultivar, but many branches. --The late/stunted Lemon Pie is praying to the sun at all times and starting to look like she belongs in the same crop. The bigger LP is gorgeous..perfect structure, the other one is catching up, but my cat keeps defoliating her.😏 ---Strawberry Pies have massive sun-blocking fan leaves that require constant tucking, but they are branching well, and a couple of them are pretty beefy. The other SP is doing fine considering her crooked trunk and slow start. 10/6: Today I noticed 9 "lone" nanners on the nodes of the crooked trunk-Strawberry Pie!😧 No clusters.. just single pollen sacs here and there.🤨 These plants have experienced no major stress at all...I'm keeping it like late-August upper-peninsula Michigan in the closet. 80f/50%RH 👌 Damnit...this is a new, stable strain, right??👈 I've seen no other SP diaries with hermaphrodites...just my fukt luck I guess.😖 I plucked them and will watch for more..and I guess I'd better keep a close eye on the other two SPs as well... I just got my wife a new 16 x 7 x 7 greenhouse frame with the green semi-translucent cover for her 4' x 12' raised bed...if i see any more sneaky nanners appear, I'll probably remove the plant(s) and move them outdoors to finish in there. I swore I'd not do any training this run, but while removing the pollen sacs I couldn't resist opening up and tieing down some branches on the hermie.🤷 10/9: I fed them.

10/6: She's doubling in size every day now, so.. me thinks she'll be a real specimen. 10/7: She continues to impress! I installed my new AC Infinity 6" fan in the attic and hooked up a 16" carbon filter today. I used some sound deadening foam on the rafter that I mounted it to and removed 100% of the vibration. I haven't programmed the thermo/hygro stuff yet, but tested it on high and I can't hear a thing anywhere in the structure.👍 I'm also purchasing a dual 120mm fan system from AC Infinity in the door, behind the grille I already installed to serve as fresh air intake. It also has a thermostat feature that will allow me to set it to only come on when the temps are too high, so I'm optimistic that it will allow me to manage the temperatures in this closet with about 1000w running for 18-20 hours a day.🙏 I moved the 200w 3500k+660nm to the top section today and lowered my QB frame to 32" above the plants. I have two pairs of them running now(480w), and received the replacement HLG 240-48A driver today for the third pair. I'll hook it up later..dont need it now.. 10/8: I fed her today for the first time...about 16 oz of solution containing grow big, big bloom, kelp me kelp you, boomerang, and armor si. I hooked up the 3rd pair of qb's today....wow that's bright....she's gonna love it!😎 10/9: She experienced her first night time today...4 hours, from midnight to 4am..at approx 72f and 50% RH. 10/10: I sprayed her with Axiom today and gave her a few ounces of spring water. 10/11: I sprayed her with Boom Boom spray right before dark and also started brewing some compost tea today. 10/12: I just gave her a little spring water today because she's getting douched with compost tea tomorrow. I wish I had some additional blue light to dose her with to get her branching better, but she's doing okay I guess. Since I've overplanted the space, I'm not gonna have much elbow room for her anyway.

With the majority of trichomes now turned milky with some turning Amber, i have decided to begin a 10 day flush using nothing but ph balanced water. Doing a shorter than normal flush as the plants with deficiencies don't have much nutes to use up.

Moving right along - the buds are starting to really fatten up and look hella juicy.... Was having a hard time keeping there humidity low - so I sprung for a small dehumidifier. Seems to be doing the trick. Very excited to go into there last month of flower!
