-Was excited to see roots shoot out basket during the beginning of the week. Then some major root growth throughout the week. -Noticed some brownish coloring on roots, thought root rot or nutrient sludge? Found out, through advanced nutrients, organic nutrients will leave a brown tinge. -pH finally where it should be. Still using GH pH testing kit to measure so no exact number. Based on their chart, yellow 6.0 -Leaves look a lighter green then I'm thinking it should be. Will add a little more nutrients during next water change in couple days. -Humidity still low! Running a temporary humidifier I already had outside closet door. Brought up humidity by 15%, but still only measuring 35% at it's highest. -Started playing music for plant about 30min/day, also talk to it a few times a day. Anyone else do this? -Disappointed in sludge build up, and mild/strong fish smell during first half of the week after water change as AN claims otherwise for this nutrient. Growth looks great besides that. -Lots of growth this 2nd week, very exciting to see, both above and below deck.

They are 45 and 50 cm Both of them look pretty, each one is different from the other but they are beautiful 😍 Taller still being fat, her leaves are turning darker and i like it. The smaller have more branches, so i think in the end they both will yield about the same, or maybe smaller yields more. Let's see. Both plants don't look like other diaries i've been following 😯 They have a strong fruity sweet smell, But not as strong as PE. Watered yesterday with nutrients, i'm not sure if keep feeding them or not. I guess if i give them one more week (maybe cut them on feb 11) their colas may gain some weight, specially lower buds. Motherplant of this clone didn't give same buds as a clone. Shame I don't have mother plants anymore. I would recommend Durban Poison for everyone, I guess more people should feel this strain. This is my favourite sativa from 2019!

Both are looking good, very big and colorful! They are both suffering from a slight nute burn so I’ll be cutting down on nutes from here on. Defoliating a bit here and there but cruising along for the rest 🔥

Plants looking happier week by week. Peach Tree and Gary Payton also got their haircut. I pushed the light up to 120W which matches the light intensity recommended by Sanlight for the stage. Will keep it like that until I flip to flower. Recharged the crystals while the sun was shining on the weekend.

I was in the process of getting my plants ready for flip, and realized I never posted my weekly update yesterday. Last week: I did notice some light intensity issues starting to show so I raised the lights up and adjusted back to 50%. I did get overzealous with my training and broke a main stem last Wednesday. Taped her back no real issues or anything (yet) with the break the branch seems to be fine sofar. This week: Ill do a small top dress this week. (some compost, ewc and bloom fertilizer.) I plan on Flipping Mid / late week, unless the branch shows any stress signs then I'll wait a week. Any advice, tips or tricks are always welcome.

Week 10 not long now these smell amazing like sweet blueberry and there's definitely something I've had before when I've bought some personal but can't quite get my head round the smell. started introducing overdrive now as they start to finish fattening and ripening up can definitely see swelling going on over the last 3 days thanks for viewing and happy

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. The girls have performed very well this week! The LST began, and there was some great growth in side branching. I also started this week off with introducing them to some nutrients ❤️ Start of week 4, the girls had responded well to transplanting, so I decided to start with some LST. My main method is to use soft wire wraps (dollar store purchase!) I poke one hole in the side of the pot near the top, and then go directly opposite that hole and poke through to make another. The first hole is for a wire wrap to secure the base of the seedling from pulling right out or over too far. The other hole is for the direction you want to bend your plant to. I start by slowly working the stem between my fingers at the point where I want it to bend. Twisting and pinching slowly so not to snap. *wait a day or two after your last water, or it will be easier to snap* once it’s ready to flop, I use the wire tie to hold down the top of the plant as close as I can to the nearest shoots. I’ll usually leave the plant like this for a couple of days, adjusting the ties, and then take them off to let them recover . Watered with a small dose of the full line I will be using for this grow. The girls got about 500 ml at the beginning of the week, but 2 days in I could tell they wanted more. By the end of the week they are taking nearly 1/2 gallon (which will give me 10% runoff) At the end of the week I increased the intensity of the BP2500 to 190 watts at the wall and the girls did show a few wrinkles as they adjusted, but have quickly recovered. I haven’t topped these girls, and I’m not sure if I am going to… thoughts? Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
