Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my 🍌💜👊 girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed. Week 8 Dec 4 - Dec 10 Dec 5 Leaves tucking Dec 6 Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty 🤤 Dec 7-8 Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great. Dec 9 Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4 Even with so much difrence in size of my 🍌💜👊 girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally. Dec 10 Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas. It's the end of the week! Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 5/11 I DID NOT WATER. A COUPLE LOOKED DRY BUT STILL HAD HEFT AND I COULD FEEL MOUSTURE IN THE SOIL. I should've taken more pictures. I forgot it's a new week. Oh well. I'll be back over and I'm planning to bring the girls outside for the first time if it warms up a little more. It's windy as fuck but I can put them in the garage with the doors open. As long as that's not the direction of the wind. I raised the L.E.D light and lowered the hps. I also TRIED to FIM a 10th planet and an mk ultra. I may have just topped them. We'll see how it turns out before I do anything to the others. Pink kush grows slow and compact. Very similar to my experience with purple punch. I have two plants that have slightly twisted leaves. Nothing else is wrong with anything. Looking at the stippling on the leaf I think it might just be either low humidity or slight wind burn or a combination of the two. Now that I've looked again I think it might just be the first 5 finger leaf on those pink kush that I mat have mistaken. I'll keep an eye out. I feel better having done some research. I'll put some more pictures up and I'll update what it is that I get done. EDIT: WENT BACK OVER AROUND THREE. EVERUTHING LOOKED GREAT AND THE LEAVES WETE PRAYING ON SOME. I THINK TOMORROW ILL CLEAN/SANITIZE THE CAGE AND WASH/SANITIZE THE GROW BAGS. 5/12 Looking and lifting some of the pots I found some that were pretty much totally dry. I watered the majority of all the plants. If soil was moist I left it alone. If it looked a little dry I gave it a little water. I didn't measure the water but it wasnt even ALL of what I had left from LAST WATERING (which was like a qtr gallon If that). I just don't want to over water. The ones that I went light on last time were the ones that were dry. Plants seem to explode after watering but this wasn't nearly as much. Everything is looking great. It's easy to tell these are all indicas due to the structure and leaf shape. Much different than even the Chem Dog #4 which doesn't LOOK as "indicay" as some of the others. I wanted to bring them outside today but it's only 50 out. I'm not going to make the same mistake as years past and stress the plants. When we get a nice warm day I'll bring them out. Other plants are ready to be topped or fimmed but I haven't done it yet. Also need to clean the cage and wash the bags. 5/13 It's 60° at 9am so I think the girls will be going outside for a little bit. Didn't fully water but I used what was left of the gallon and gave them that. Some are much drier than others. I'll probably give them a full watering tomm. I only gave them a little today because I didn't want them drying out. I FIMMed a Special Kush today. WE'LL see how the hst turns out. EDIT: WENT AND BROUGHT THE GIRLS OUT FOR FOUR HOURS IN INDIRECT SUNLIGHT. THE TENTH PLANETS WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD AN ISSUE. JUST MINOR HEAT OR LIGHT ISSUES WITH A COUPLE FAN LEAVES. EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMED LIKE THEY SHOT UP IN SIZE. THE LARGER CONTAINERS STILL SEEM KINDA MOIST BUT SOME ARE DRY. I NEED TO GET ON A STABLE WATER SCHEDULE. ITS HARD WITH DUFFERENT PLANTS OF VARYING SIZES. STILL HAVE A LOT OF WORK TO DO. 5/14 One plant was super light today and was a little droopy. I WATERED EVERYTHING TODAY USING APPROX A HALF GALLON. I brought them outside for the second day. I left them out for about 3hrs. It's hot today. I'm still floored that chatgtp gave me exact directions for hardening my plants off at my exact location taking the weather into consideration! That is awesome. They're all doing good. Pink kush is the slow starter this year. Kind of like purple punch was. The only plants that had ANY damage on them was the two 10th planet's and its not really damage. It's just a LITTLE mottling on the leaf and the serrations pointing down. It's weird because this strain did great here last time. The Special Kush #1 and the Pink Kush would probably be fine to leave out soon. Hindu Kush parents make those strains extremely resilient. The one chem dog #4 looks out of place with all tjis big fat indica leaves. I'm hoping the topping and fim-ing will take. It looks like it will. 5/15 Everything is looking great! I have some work to do bit then I'll be over to bring the girls out for a few hours. I'll edit this when I do. EDIT: BROUGHT THE GIRLS OUT FOR THREE HOURS TODAY. I THOUGHT THE TENP WENT DOWN TO 73 BUT TUAT WAS INDOORS. OH WELL. THEY STILL DID GREAT! THEY WERE ALL LOOKING OUT OF THE LEAN-TO LIKE SUNFLOWERS! THE STRAIGHTEN OUT AFTER BEING UNDER THE GROW LIGHTS. MAYBE ITS TIME TO RETIRE IT. 5/16 I watered a few of the girls this morning with a small ring around the pot. I brought them outside and am leaving them for 3.5 hours today in the lean-to. They get indirect light without all the wind this way. I'll slowly increase the hours outside until there is enough daylight for them to go outside without revegging. When I put them out I noticed that a few were light and since it was close to 80° I watered most everything. I used under a half gallon. I'll see how they do from here and then move forward. I fixed my down security camera and secured my cage. Now I just need to finish hardening off, clean/sanitize bags/environment and put them in tjeir final homes. I'm not rushing it though. I've learned my lesson with that. 5/17 Plants did great yesterday and were perky and praying this morning. It was HOT yesterday too. Got into the low 80's. It's 57° degrees at 9am and it's overcast and sprinkling. I haven't decided if I'm going to bring the girls out today. It might be a good day to try some direct sunlight. I'll update whatever I decide to do.

D-89 : I've just raised the calmag level from 0.5 to 0.8 ml/l and cut off the leaves wearing calcium deficiency symptoms. Flowers growed a bit during last week but, most important, they got fatter :) It seams that 2L every 48h is a good pace for them.

Good week for this lovely lady. Her color has improved immensely and she's almost caught up in size to the Blueberry. Since they're settled in I took away the support hoops and will pack up the row cover. Yet again I think it did a fabulous job reducing stress from transplanting. I also added in some Calendula plants yesterday afternoon as they make good companions. It's gonna be a straight up partay in this garden bed😜 Update 6/26- I totally forgot to add that on Monday the garden got a spraying of horn manure. Horn manure is a biodynamic preparation of cow manure that's been fermented in a buried horn. This results in a material that's teeming with beneficial flora and fauna for the soil. Ideally it would be sprayed prior to planting in the spring as it encourages healthy root growth. I purchased the pre-potenized so that I only had to spend 20 mins stirring rather than an entire hour. That would have been brutal😵 I sprayed it at night when the earth is breathing in and used a spruce bough to sprinkle it over the plants in the garden. The extra icing on the cake was that there was a rain the day before, and another the day after I sprayed so it was well watered in.

Since 1 of the Tropicana Cookies seedlings died earlier on in veg, it left a spot in veg set up. Due to temperature rising each day as we approach the start of summer, water temperature in Dwc constantly rising to around 25/26 degrees Celsius. Adding & changing out frozen water bottles 3 times a day! Unfortunately still rising over the course of the day. As much as Dwc growing interest's me it's just not pheasable to grow in summer with out a water chiller!!! Risk of root rot is extremely high. Lost a few plants to root rot last year in summer & it seems that the White Widow Auto had started getting a bit of root rot, even adding frozen bottles didn't help. Needed to get her out of Dwc before it got any worse. Since I lost a seedling earlier, I've decided to take her out of Dwc & plant her into the now vacant pot, that's hooked up to a top feed recirculating hydro system. Ever since transfering her she has thrived. Changed light hours for her from 24hrs on to 20 hrs on 4 off. Started to show pistills on day 35/ last day of week 5 veg!

Update for the week of 9/12 Unfortunately I wasn't able to upload these right after I took them, I pushed my migraine a bit too far when I took the photos and videos so I had to hide from the world. Blueberry is still just amazing... and beautiful... and huge.... and smells sweet and fruity😋 She responded well to the Down to Earth minerals top dressing I gave everyone last week, they all did, but I wanted them to have some sugar this week so I switched back to liquid nutes for this week. Otherwise I think everything is in the videos. Happy growing to all of you! I'm not going to try and make any promises about "Oh I should have more time to update" because that clearly has not been happening since I've been saying it the past couple weeks, so I guess stay tuned and thank you to all who have been checking in!

3/23/25 everything looks nice. Shes stretching and has a nice internodal spacing and the pistils are just getting bigger and bigger. Havent been feeding anything. Just watering when dry. I amended the soil with dr earths 394 bud and bloom booster and she seems super healthy and happy right now. Its still crazy to me that these decided to flower with 18/6 lighting. She is apparently an equatorial photoperiod and not an

Switched the 600 watt MH bulbs out and put the 1000 watt HPS in and Flipped to flowering on Saturday night. The girls seem happy with the additional light and nutrients. I waited till Tuesday night to do some defoliation. Still having issues with browning roots after completing water change.

And here we go into flowering week seven. The buds are looking impressive by now. I feel like they're starting to bulk up - hopefully, those internodal gaps fill in nicely. Temperature and humidity are stable. I aim for 25°C during the day, and at night, it drops to around 21.5–22°C. Humidity stays between 45–50%. I could probably lower it further, but that would make things too hot, so I trust my airflow and ventilation instead. On day 70, I noticed a couple of leaves showing early ‘autumn colors.’ I’m curious how much longer this will take. Plagron additives like Sugar Royale, Power Buds, and Green Sensation are said to accelerate ripening. DNA Genetics suggests 9–10 weeks of flowering, so it’s getting exciting. Amber trichomes are a must for this Kush diva! 😉 Some parts of the plant seem to be purpling! That’s interesting since nights aren’t particularly cold. Could it be phosphate-related? Light stress? Just the strain? The smell is changing more and more towards citrus - like a ‘sharp, earthy lemon.’ It almost reminds me of a wood polish! 😄 I'm gradually removing any drying leaves at the bottom, but other than that, there’s not much to do - just watering, keeping an eye on temp and humidity, and relaxing.
