Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

In my experience, this technique helps the plants transition more smoothly and accelerates their hormonal shift into flowering. It’s a method that has consistently worked well for me, and I encourage growers to explore different approaches to find what best suits their setup. The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Spending Time with the Girls One of my favorite parts of the grow is spending time with the plants, enjoying some good medicine, and simply being present in the garden. The connection we have with our plants is invaluable, and I believe they truly respond to the energy we bring. It’s a labor of love, and every moment spent with them contributes to their health and vitality. Week 6/5 - 12/5 The smell is amazing! She’s ready to the flush

She seems to be doing a lot better since the foliar spray last week. Leaves are a dark green now and the stalks are more malleable due to the silica. Did another Silica foliar spray this week as well. 12 gal of water and it is supposed to rain on them today. Fingers crossed!

Semana 6 (7-13 de mayo)(días 36 - 42) Contentos con como va la cosa, retiramos alguna hoja tocada y poco mas. 😊😊 11/5/2020 El ultimo riego fue bastante heavy y podemos ver como las puntas muestran signos de sobrefertilicacion ,por tanto este riego va a ser más suave. Teniendo en cuenta que sufrimos el problema de quedarnos sin fertilizantes y que nuestro proovedor debido a la situación actual del covid tiene el asunto complicado tocaremos con lo que tenemos. Hoy toca riego en el que usamos 40l ñara 22 plantas. Los riegos se realizan en garrafas de 10l por lo que los valores varían en función de las plantas. (Valores • l) • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg PH: 5 94 EC: 1.21 T h2O: 18,5°C • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg + 0.2ml Final solution PH: 5 84 EC: 1.00 T h2O: 18°C • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg + 0.2 Final Solution PH: 5 81 EC: 1.18 T h2O: 17,3°C • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg PH: 6 EC: 1.44 T h2O: 17,2°C Para algunas variedades como la Bubba y la Barney Kid será su último riego con fertilizantes, a partir de ahora haremos riegos com flush hasta el momento de corte para que no queden restos en nuestras flores en el momento final. Al resto sin embargo les quedará alrededor de 3/4 semanas por lo menos. Esto sigue avanzando y se siguen formando nuevas flores pero esperemos que esto no tarde mucho en engordar, porque a pesar de que se que son de floración larga me da la sensación de que podrían estar mejor, no se si debido al cambio de nutrientes y de que no estoy cubriendo todas las necesidades que tienen. A pesar de todos tenemos unas Orange sherbert que pintan increíbles, una berry mint potente, dos chocolate mint OG que dan ganas de comérsela... Por comentar que ayer dejo de funcionarios uno de los focos 😔 tras echarle un ojo y hacer unas pruebas comprobamos que el fallo era del cable y ya esta solucionando 😁😁 Estoy disfrutando mucho con este cultivo y aprendiendo de los fallos, sólo viendo como van y con las cosas que he aprendido no veo el momento de comenzar con el siguiente cultivo, pero paso a paso 🤗 Por cierto estos últimos días la temperatura a bajado bastante por el mal tiempo lo que nos ha venido genial para estabilizar la temperatura en unos 25/26°C en ON y 22/23°C en OFF. Estos días atrás rondaba más los 28/29°C llegando en algún momento a 30. Un poco de frescura para el huerto. Y por último, pero no menos importante. Mi pareja, a la que tanto quiero, me va a dejar su móvil para sacar fotos. La diferencia es abismal por lo que intentaremos mejorar la cantidad de nuestro contenido para el bien de todos 😁😁
