Hello growmies! Welcome to week five of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! The girls are all at different early flowering stages, but they are only days apart from each other. I have a bit of a quandary now though, as I am no longer following the nutrient schedule as these plants are too fast for it. So I am unsure whether to start PK warrior or not yet. I have also realised I have probably underfed them in the last week or so, which to be honest isn't a big deal for me right now as they are already waaaaaaaaaaay bigger than expected. Let's talk about that a moment. This strain has an average height of 50-70cm. I wonder if those numbers were for soil grows? It seems for coco you will get even bigger plants. Case in point these six girls measured at 3pm 24/7 day 30 as follows: Plant 1: 111cm Plant 2: 99cm Plant 3: 90cm Plant 4: 89cm Plant 5: 85cm Plant 6: 84cm Plant 3 appears to have stopped stretching and is the most advanced into flower. Plant 4 is right behind it and has slowed down but not yet stopped stretching. Plant 2 is next in terms of flowering development her stretch is slowing. Plant 5 is still stretching rapidly and is coming to the end of preflower. No concern really at 85cm she has some room yet. Plant 6 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Slightly concerned despite her 84cm stature as she has been the most beefy looking plant all along, so I am expecting her to grow a good bit more. Plant 1 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Extremely very concerned about this one. The light is about as high as it can go. 111cm!! I have scoured the internet and the tallest Epsilon F1 I have found was 95cm. It's great that she is so happy this plant, but if she gets much taller I'm going to have to super crop her main cola. Whatever happens I am starting to dream of smashing my yield target out of the park, these girls are all impressive. Hard to believe they are just 30 days old. Daily Updates: ### Week 5 Day 2 15:00 24/7 Photographed. ### Week 5 Day 2 23:30 24/7 fertigated 1.6l and updated nutrient schedule for the week ### Week 5 Day 3 20:00 25/7 took a short video ### Week 5 Day 4 05:00 26/7 photographed ### Week 5 Day 4 18:00 26/7 Measured (brace yourself). Plant 1: 126cm Plant 2: 107cm Plant 3: 93cm Plant 4: 94cm Plant 5: 97cm Plant 6: 96cm Plants 3 and 4 have stopped stretching now and are fully into flower. At 93cm and 94cm respectively, by the end of flower these girls may hit 1m but they wont go much more than that. Plant 2 looks to have just about stopped as well. It might go another 10cm overall. Plant 5 is still stretching but I think not much more. Plant 6 is still stretching and I am still expecting quite a bit of growth from her. Then there is plant 1. 126cm and still stretching. It has now grown beyond the height of the light. I hope it can somehow finish itself before it hits the top of the tent. I mean the secondary colas are over 1m already. It is a great shame this giant plant doesn't have more horizontal space to itself, either way it is absolutely shocking to see. I really do not want to super crop her, but am out of options. This grow, incidentally, constitutes the first and last time that I let any indoor cannabis plant go untrained. With basically 4 x 4 x 4 of usable space, training my plants is not really optional - and now you can all see why. This "50-70cm" strain has rapidly outgrown my space. RQS it may be time to revisit the height claims on this strain. Just saying. ### Week 5 Day 6 01:00 28/7 Rearranged the tent and photographed. I have been regularly rotating the plants and periodically moving them around. My problem is now plant one has already hit the top of the tent and there is no easy way to give it anymore space... still not sure what I am supposed to do but it's fine for now... tried to capture the problem with the photos. As well as plant 1, plant 6 looks like it's going to keep going for a good bit yet, and plant 2 is still putting a bit of height on. I took plenty of photos today to try and capture the essence of the jungle. It is quite unbelievable what these plants have done. I just cannot stop looking at them, they are magnificent. I have not fed for 4 days, will probably feed later I am just trying to slow them down a bit by not feeding them. It doesn't seem to be working. ### Week 5 Day 6 23:00 28/7 Defoliated heavily all plants. Fertigated 2l each. Removed some more lower side growth off the smallest plant (plant 3) to make space. Might leave it a few days before I photograph again. Plants 2, 3, and 4 are all well into flowering now, plant 5 is not far behind them, but plants 1 and 6 are still in preflower. :( What is really remarkable right now is the difference in colour between the plants further into flower vs the plants still in preflower. The plants in flowering have much darker leaves. --- Thanks for reading growmies! šŸ‘Š ========== Tent: 120cm x 120cm x 180cm Light: 600w HID Elite Dual Spectrum HPS + Angel Wing Reflector Air: 5" duct fan system with carbon filter ~300 m3/hour + RAM 9" floor fan + 4" intake fan Pots: Air Pruner Fabric Pots 30l - UGro XL Coco + horticultural grade perlite (~20%) Seeds supplied by Royal Queen Seeds https://www.royalqueenseeds.com Nutrients supplied by Shogun Fertilisers https://www.shogunfertilisers.com/en ==========

This plant has been my strongest/largest from the gate, so no surprise she was my biggest yielder! Incredibly strong/resilient from the start, however everything seemed to just go right for this plant. Lots of defoliation and attention helped cultivate dense medium-large nugs that certainly pack a punch! Very flavorful, and amazing aroma. I will definitely be growing this strain again!

Skywalker OG — Harvest / Trim / Cure Part 3 — Trimming The First Giant First of all, once again, apologies for dividing this Skywalker OG harvest series into multiple parts. But honestly… there was simply no way to properly document this run without giving each phase and each plant the attention they deserve. These girls became something special. And with: * multiple giant plants * hundreds of photos * trimming timelapses * resin collection * curing experiments * and smoke reviews still coming later we wanted to slow down and properly catalogue everything instead of rushing through it. So now… we return: 10 days later. And the first Skywalker OG giant was finally ready. āø» The Click After hanging whole-plant drying for roughly: * 7–10 days * at around 18–20°C * with humidity stabilized near 60% * and the first days closer to 45% RH to safely remove excess surface moisture the moment finally arrived. That special branch click. Not bending anymore. Not soft anymore. That sound and feeling growers slowly learn over time: the perfect dry point before curing. And honestly? This girl dried beautifully. The flowers tightened perfectly. The aromas became deeper. The resin stayed everywhere. Exactly what we hoped for. āø» Trimming Begins So… gloves on. Medicine nearby. Scissors ready. Cleaning alcohol beside us. And branch by branch… we started. Slowly breaking down the plant. Separating branches. Taking individual flowers out carefully. Hand trimming every nug one by one. No machine trimming. No shortcuts. Just patience. And immediately one thing became obvious again: sticky. Very sticky. The dry trichomes instantly started gluing themselves onto the gloves. Every few minutes: * fingers sticking together * scissors becoming greasy * resin buildup everywhere The kind of trimming session where your gloves slowly stop looking black and start looking glossy. āø» Finger Hash & Resin Balls Naturally, as trimming continued… finger hash started forming again. But this time differently from the fresh charas we collected during harvest. This resin came from: dry trichomes broken loose during trimming and handling. Still incredibly aromatic. Still greasy. Still beautiful. But drier, more compact, and more stable than fresh charas. And honestly? Watching the little resin balls slowly form from pure trimming sessions never stops being satisfying. A grower’s reward during the work itself. āø» Moroccan Drums — Trim Bin Sessions As the trim accumulated, we also continued one of our favorite little rituals. Lightly working the trim material by hand almost like traditional Moroccan drum techniques. Nothing aggressive. Nothing industrial. Just gently helping the loose trichome heads separate naturally from the material. And honestly? This Skywalker OG was loaded. The Trim Bin kept collecting beautiful resin underneath the screen while we worked. And eventually… we pressed some of that loose resin together purely by hand pressure. No heat. No tools. No pressing equipment. Just hand pressure alone. And it immediately transformed into: a beautiful little temple ball. Soft. Greasy. Dark golden-brown. Beautiful texture. The kind of resin that instantly tells you: ā€œThis plant had serious trichome production.ā€ āø» The Numbers Then came the moment everybody waits for. The final dry weight. And honestly… we’re still smiling looking at the scale. 369.9 grams from a single plant under 12/12 from seed. Absolutely insane. Especially considering: * minimal training * natural structure * relatively compact height * and mostly letting the plant guide herself naturally This girl became a true production monster. Dense flowers. Heavy branches. Massive yield. Excellent resin production. One of those harvests where you step back afterward and just stare at the pile for a few seconds. Because it honestly feels surreal. āø» Rock-Solid Medicine And the flower quality itself? Beautiful. These buds dried into: * dense * compact * greasy * heavy flowers Exactly the kind of structure we expected after seeing how swollen the plant became during late flower. The kind of buds that feel substantial immediately when picked up. No fluff. No air. Just proper medicine. And visually? Still gorgeous after drying. The calyx swelling remained. The trichomes stayed visible everywhere. And the flowers kept that heavy OG structure beautifully. āø» Storage & Cure At this point, preserving the cure properly became extremely important. So we divided the flower between multiple storage methods. Traditional Glass Jars The classic method. Simple. Reliable. Proven. Perfect for: * manual burping * visual inspection * humidity monitoring * and traditional curing control āø» Vacuum Glass Jar We also started testing one of the vacuum-style glass jars from Zamnesia. The idea here is reducing oxygen exposure during cure and long-term storage. Now we’re extremely curious to later compare: * terpene preservation * moisture behavior * aroma retention * and overall cure evolution between vacuum curing and traditional curing. āø» Grove Bags And honestly… there was simply too much flower not to use Grove Bags too. So part of the harvest also went into Grove Bags for longer-term curing and storage testing. Again, we’ll revisit all of this deeper later during the smoke review reports once the cure evolves further. Because right now the mission is simple: preserve the terpenes. Preserve the resin. Preserve the soul of the plant. āø» The Skeleton One thing we always love after trimming massive plants is looking at the final skeleton left behind. And honestly? This one was beautiful. Not an absurdly giant trunk… yet somehow it carried an absurd amount of medicine. Which honestly says a lot about how efficient these 12/12-from-seed plants can become. Compact structure. Extreme productivity. Minimal wasted growth. The Legends of the 12/12 Galaxy continue proving themselves. āø» Timelapses & Documentation We also included trimming timelapses in this report so people can actually see: * the workflow * the process * the resin buildup * the trimming rhythm * and what goes into preparing flowers like this properly Because behind every beautiful jar photo… there are hours of work. Hours of patience. And honestly? We love documenting that part too. āø» What Comes Next The next reports will continue with: trimming the remaining two Skywalker OG giants And honestly… there is still so much left to show. Which means yes: this series may realistically reach: Part 4 or even Part 5. And honestly? These girls deserve every slide. Every photo. Every detail. āø» Gratitude Huge thanks once again to everybody following this journey. To the growers. To the silent viewers. To the curious minds. To the supporters. To the old followers. To the new people arriving now. To the skeptics. To the lovers. To the haters too. To Zamnesia for these incredible genetics. To Plagron for helping feed this jungle. To Future Of Grow and Lumiflora for the LEDs powering this room every single day. To the entire growing community constantly sharing knowledge, mistakes, ideas, techniques, and passion openly. And honestly… being able to witness plants like this grow from seed into this level of abundance still feels surreal sometimes. These truly became: Legends of the 12/12 Galaxy. And their story still continues. From grower to growers.

🌸 Week 7 Flower – Crystals, Aromas & Monster Buds Welcome, friends, to the final pre-harvest chapter for our Mango Kush sisters. Week 7 Flower is where everything comes together: weight, density, aroma, and frost. And let me tell you — these girls are absolute monsters. āø» 🌱 The State of the Sisters • Pheno #1 – The trailblazer. Her colas are enormous, dense, and sparkling like snowy peaks under the lights. The macro shots reveal a glittering layer of trichomes, covering buds, sugar leaves, and even little fan leaves near the canopy. She’s showing phenomenal resin production, and her pistils are thick and curling. • Pheno #2 – The younger sister, but catching up fast. Her buds are dense and sticky, the frost is appearing more heavily, and every macro shot reveals the same dazzling crystal coverage. She’s slightly behind Pheno #1 in maturity, but don’t be fooled — she’s a true powerhouse in her own right. The smell in the room is so strong that if it weren’t for the carbon filters, we’d probably be calling the fire department thinking someone baked 100 mango pies at once! šŸ˜… I mean the frost on these buds? Looks like Mother Nature had a snow day in the grow tent — pure white crystals everywhere, like the plants are wearing winter coats in July! ā„ļø āø» šŸ”¬ Trichome Watch – Macro Details Week 7 is all about trichomes. Here’s what we’re seeing and monitoring: • Clear trichomes: Still present, mainly on the lower bud sites, indicating some time left before peak potency. • Cloudy/milky trichomes: The majority of bud surfaces are now showing full milkiness, a sign of peak THC potential. • Amber trichomes: Small percentages on the tips of pistils — this is the first sign of cannabinol conversion, giving the slightly more sedative effect. 🌱 Educational takeaway: Trichome inspection is the golden key to deciding harvest timing. Macro photography helps us see nuances invisible to the naked eye. We’re aiming for a balance: mostly milky with a touch of amber for that perfect Mango Kush high. āø» šŸ’§ Feeding & Nutrition At this stage, feeding is minimal but precise — we don’t want to push excess nutrients, only support the plant as it finalizes resin and bud density: • Just water lol the rest they can find in soil and else were Educational takeaway: Week 7 feeding is about support, not growth. The girls have all the energy stored; now we just help them transform it into resin, aroma, and density. āø» šŸŒ”ļø Environment • Temps: 28–30°C, slightly warmer in the canopy under heavy buds. • Humidity: 50–55% — perfect for trichome development. • COā‚‚: 620–650 ppm, steady, helping photosynthesis and sugar production. Observation: Trichome production loves a slightly drier mid-to-late flower environment. Too much humidity can reduce resin and promote mold on dense buds. āø» šŸ’” Lighting The lighting orchestra is still performing beautifully: • ThinkGrow Model One → penetrating the canopy • ThinkGrow ICL-300s → mid-canopy perfection • Future of Grow Black Series 600W → full-spectrum balance • Lumatek Zeus 465W Compact Pro → evening out footprint Result: every bud site is kissed by light, maximizing sugar leaves and resin density. āø» šŸ”„ Recap – Seed to Here For anyone joining now, here’s the full journey of our Mango Kush sisters: 1. Seed germination: Smooth, fast, with Aptus Start Booster. 2. Vegetative stage: Strong branching, two phenos selected, transplanted into super soil + Aptus Mycor-Mix. 3. Early Flower (Weeks 1–3): Pistils forming, Power Buds introduced, lighting expanded, TrolMaster ecosystem established. 4. Mid Flower (Weeks 4–6): Bulking, simplified nutrition, aroma starting, trichomes appearing, All-in-One Liquid and CalMag adjustments. 5. Week 7: Buds heavy, frost everywhere, aroma exploding, trichomes mostly milky with hints of amber — the final week before harvest. āø» šŸ”® What to Expect āœ… Expect: • Buds heavy and dense, needing support • Aroma extremely potent, filling the tent • Trichomes mostly milky, some amber • Sugar leaves sparkling with frost āŒ Don’t expect yet: • Complete amber conversion (full sedative effect) • Final cured aroma or flavor (only post-harvest) Educational takeaway: Week 7 is the climax of flower maturation. Now is the time to inspect, support, and admire — patience will yield the perfect harvest. āø» šŸ™ Gratitude To the GrowDiaries community: thank you for joining this journey from seed to near-harvest. The sisters have taught us patience, observation, and joy in every stage. To the gear: TrolMaster, ThinkGrow, Lumatek, Future Of Grow with the Black Series — thank you for letting the plants reach their full potential. šŸ’š Grower’s Reflection: These girls are monsters, monsters of beauty, resin, and aroma. Every macro shot shows why we love this process. And yes… if it weren’t for the carbon filters, we’d probably be evacuating the neighborhood from sheer Mango Kush smell! šŸ˜… Frosty, dense, magical — week 7 Flower is everything I hoped for. šŸ“² Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. šŸ’š Growers love to all šŸ’š šŸ“Œ P.S. – About the Timeline A quick note for clarity: Mango Kush #1 and Mango Kush #2 are slightly offset in their flowering timeline — there’s about a week difference in their development. For the purpose of GrowDiaries, this Week 7 Flower report combines both sisters to provide a full picture of the tent and the ongoing bloom. While Mango Kush #1 is slightly ahead, and #2 a bit behind, this report reflects both in their mid-to-late flowering stage. Why combine them now? GrowDiaries updates are sometimes tricky, and combining the sisters allows us to share their progress together, making it easier for readers to follow the story and observe the similarities and differences. 🌱 Rest assured: When harvest comes, we’ll present a complete follow-up report covering harvest, dry, trim, cure, and smoke review — highlighting each sister’s unique traits and final results. Honesty is part of the journey, and transparency helps everyone learn and apprecilove the full picture. šŸ’š Growers love to all šŸ’š

Smooth few days after the defoliations. They seem to be happy. Malted Milk can be very temperamental but I have been catching on to her ways. Still wary with my feedings tho. Want to give all these different nutes and unknown what the results will be? Installed ac units in each room to ensure good temperatures and RH outside the tents. Hoping for another good week!

Day 79, 28th of November 2020: The second crazy strechy lady from the Original Sensible Seeds group. Nice she is fucking nice! This genetics is dope I am telling you. Buds are coming all good not much to say she is pretty healthy. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the rationand mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Brought to you by a pair of Mars Hydro SP3000s. Grow on Earth. Grow on Mars. 69 šŸ˜‰ days from seed soak. Veg is done. Sending off to Mars to flower cuz I installed 2 SP3000s in my 2x4 (60x120) tent. Introduced Nectar and have been feeding full strength now. Seems like I have to water every day...1 gallon each of full feed per plant, 18 hours later seems like they are thirsty again..leaves drooping down and perk up after water. I’ll start doing 1.5 gallons and up the nutes....maybe it’s the new lights. Photone says: ~90000 lux in middle, ~70000 on the edges/sides. I think I’m pushing it but it seems my plants are loving it. That’s it for now and thanks for stopping by. Happy growing 🌱🌱🌱

Do-Si-Dos Auto is entering her final phase of flower with full-on fade, swelling buds, and thick trichome coverage setting in. This week she showed steady maturity across all sites — pistils began curling in and changing color, but many are still white and active, especially on the lower buds. I gave her a Cal-Mag watering early in the week and have since transitioned to mostly plain RO water as she finishes up. Temperatures climbed to 86°F indoors with 45% humidity, which may have pushed her a bit — I noticed some light upper-leaf clawing from heat stress midweek, but nothing major. The fade is progressing beautifully with purples and yellows coming in across the larger fans. Trichome checks showed mostly clear heads with a few starting to go cloudy — still no amber yet. She’s not ready to harvest, but she’s getting close. Buds continue to stack, and I’ll be checking trichomes daily moving forward to time the final flush and chop.

(Dosis: 1gr/3lt)

I did too much as I said on her! And I didn’t use any sprays to help healing was expecting too much for her to spring back on her own! I will take note of that as I’ll be growing her again! She smells lime lemons and lime a lot of citrus coming off her with sweet sides of sherbet like sours makes your mouth water so much just smelling her! Effects are very deep! Put me into deep thought day dreaming almost! Suggested smoke for breaks chills and films perfect movie bud actually! Gives you natural giggles so would enhance any mood!
